The only reason I give 4 stars is because of the wait times on the phone. Marty and Casey who work at the store are the nicest guys and always go above and beyond to help me. Monatech should value these 2 guys as I have come to really appreciate them and trust them.

I was at mini tech in hickory with my hubby. Service was outstanding install was quick. All our questions were answered. Great service!

Horrible customer service. You can't get anyone on the phone for a ridiculous lockout not caused by yourself, the system kills your battery, the advisors speak to you with little to no respect, and they forgot to hook my gas release back up upon install. I h ad to go to the Toyota dealership. Save yourself time ,frustration, and the agonizing experience. I switched to smart Start, they are polite, treat me with respect, and their system does not run your battery down. This was the Hickory location in North Carolina. When calling for assistance with the device you are on hold for an hour until an answering machine picks up and asks to leave a message, if you try to request a call back it doesn't happen or it will a day or two later. I have been nothing but polite with this cooperation and have been treated with disrespect. The device is outdated, bulky and inconsistent. I have never had an alcohol read, only arrival failures that I had blown into and evidently not accepted. Each time it calls for a recall and additional money. Sure, my name; Brent Johnson. I do not want it to be rectified. I want other consumers to know that there are other choices out there, and companies that treat their customer's better. I have a professional career and this type of business is a money pit and they take advantage of others misfortunes. Granted, I put myself in the position to get this device, but people make wrong choices and should not have to be treated like this. Again people, please look at other companies before making a mistake with Monitech.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been too! They are rude and try to scam you,take advantage of you .It would be in everyone best interest to find another place to go do this program some where other than this rat whole. Marty,matt whatever you guys names are? They change day by day! I would (NOT) recommend this place at all! Needs to be bulldozer off the map! And you will see if you go there! Thanks for all the nerve racking moments! Don't go there! Charlie Harris!

I get my system calibrated every other month. The last time I came to this location to which I live 40 min one way from, they had a sign on door and was closed for the day even though I had an appointment. I had to call work and schedule time off again to come back the next day costing me more gas as well as cost of service. I came today at my appointment time and no one was there at that time. After waiting 15 min past my appointment time, the gentleman said I couldn t get serviced because the systems were not working and I could call the 1-800 number and they would give me a code. Upon calling the customer service line she stated I could not have a code because I had to wait three days after my appointment time to get it. The gentleman then told me I could come back again after driving yet another 40 min to be told I couldn t get service done.The lady on the phone asked the field supervisor was there anything they could do to receive a discount on my service due to two different service appointment times being cancelled upon my arrival and the supervisor told her no. This is a huge inconvenience because I have to come back tomorrow and call into work late just to hopefully get serviced before I get locked out and I actually am showing up every time to my scheduled appointment to be turned away. I don t understand the lack in customer service especially when this is not just a little drive to get to the service center. The other service center near me is again about 35/40 min in the other direction to my house so I have to plan accordingly with work so I can pay for the service. I literally am following the rules to a tee and getting penalized for having this service through this company. It s just frustrating when they don t seem to care because you have to have the service and can lock you out of your car for no fault of your own. It s mentally exhausting when trying to be a responsible person.

They had my times mixed up but he still saw me. Best personality. I m going back. Drive an extra 37 minutes just for him to do my stuff.

Set an appointment through there automated service and they set the wrong appointment day so I missed it and had to reschedule. Rescheduling took several calls because they were so busy. Tip use call back if you can. Press (8).When you get there you better have your registration current and at hand because nothing else will work including a title. So be sure to bring it.It's in a strip mall so can't drop off your vehicle overnight. Also be prepared to watch some stupid video. Ot they make you sign a disclaimer. B.S.Oh and don't ask the guy for a shop number bc he won't give anything but the automated service number.DONT MESS THIS UP GENIUS!!!!

Never on time, be prepared to wait even if you have an appointment . It was 8:10 am before anyone showed up to work and my friends appointment was 8am

Something like this needs to be professional. We all make mistakes and this interlock system is the only way a lot of Americans can continue to make a living after a dui incident. The staff here in the hickory location are extremely rude and unprofessional. Ignored my questions and hardly seemed to know what he was doing. Every person I talked to has had a terrible attitude and seem bothered by you taking their time. I would not recommend to anyone but in these small towns you don't have much of a choice in who to go to. After the court systems inability to treat people with respect and dignity you must again deal with more demeaning and unpleasant encounters on your journey getting back to being a normal citizen. Good luck and keep your head up.

Pretty straightforward. Got mine installed in less than an hour. Nice guy. This is good place to go as far as installation goes. Ill update if i have any problems with my device and the service they give me going forward.

I haven t had a problem with the customer service. The guy that works most of the time is pretty entertaining. What I am not happy with is the inaccuracy of the device itself. I had a fail within the first week after installation and I hadn t eaten or drank anything but water that morning. After it had me turn offf the engine and re blow, I passed and still had to pay a $45 fee because of a faulty device. I am so paranoid about it now I have water bottles scattered all over my car so it doesn t happen again.

Horrible. Guy accused me of tampering with the device? Also said I had blown a .55 and .45 (haven t had a drink in two years). I m guessing these readings are from two of many times this thing would fail me for no reason and then start in 5 min. Guy ripped my system out and left me stranded when I questioned why I was being accused of all this. Crazy guy... wouldn t recommend Hickory, NC location at all.
