My dealing were with Bruce at Gold Standard. He was very professional. They took care of everything including dealing with my insurance company. Had to have the front bumper replaced on my K5 due to someone losing a cement block off of a trailer and I could not avoid hitting it. The job they did on my car was excellent. They perfectly matched my paint also. If i ever have to use a body shop again, this is the one I'll come back too. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I would rate 10 stars if possible! I was in a situation where I was 30 minutes from home in a hot parking lot for hours, not knowing what to do with my dads vehicle. I googled "auto body shops" and called a company and was told that they only did work for insurance companies and was booked months out anyways, so the lady referred me to Gold Standards. I called, and I spoke to a guy named Brad. From that moment on, my whole situation was stress-free. I had the vehicle towed to Gold Standarnd, where we were treated with phenomenal professionalism. If every company could be managed like Gold Standard, the world would be a better place!

I took my car to have a couple things fixed after someone hit my car. Kenny and Brad were amazing! I couldn t have asked for better customer service, communication, or price! My car was fixed and ready in no time! Anytime I need auto body work done this is where I will be going! Gold standard has fixed two different cars for me. Recently being my current car that I hit a deer with. They have been so kind and worked so well with us as we were communicating with our insurance company as well. After picking up my car, it was beautifully done and no sign of ever being wrecked. When I got my car home I noticed that the trunk would not open ( no fault of theirs )- we took the car to them today and they were kind enough to help my husband reset the battery and it works great. This saved us a trip to the Mazda dealership Charlotte and we are so grateful! I highly recommend!

Very pleased with the service I received from Gold Standard. From the minute I walked thru the door for an estimate I knew I had chosen the right place to fix my car. Not only did they do exceptional work I can't tell I ever hit a deer but they also gave me 300.00 bucks back out of my insurance check when the work was completed. Most companies would have not been honest and done that they could have easily pocketed that money and I'd have never known. Thank you so much for not only be great but also being honest. I will definitely recommend Gold Standard to anyone needing work done.

My husbands front bumper cover had gotten hit and was cracked. Gold Standard did an awesome job fixing it and the paint job was perfect! It didn't take long either...about a week. We were very impressed. Thank you guys!

I wish I could add photos of their work on here, but take my word when I say that they do exceptional work. They kept me updated through the entire process, consulted me when they needed decisions made, and got me done in a timely manner. The quality of work is top tier and I wouldn t hesitate to use them again in the future if I have to. If there were 6 stars they'd get every piece of all 6. They are that good. I am picky and I want my stuff done right and want it to appear as if it were OEM and never wrecked. They surpassed on BOTH occasions. With a show room like theirs, you knew they had to be good. If the owner takes care of his own toys like this, you know the work has to be top shelf.Customer service was without a doubt, simply AWESOME!. The million times I called with questions, never was I disappointed. Went in for an estimate. Wanted to get on their schedule and was denied service until insurance claim came through (I get it). I specifically stated that I was out of town and needed to make an appointment and I was denied. So we went with another company that was happy to put us on their schedule.

You will be up to date and informed through the whole process. If you want to be treated like more than a customer with honest guidance, this is the place!

The body work they did is beautiful! It took a bit longer than expected, but I am pleased. They even replaced a reflector that was missing and gave me a bottle of paint with a brush inside it for touch ups. As far as it taking longer, I understand because they can't order any parts until they actually have the vehicle. Keep that in mind when you have work done. Thank you Bruce and staff for making my little putt putt pretty again! Love my car again. Awesome job!

Tahoe grill replacement , front door fixed & back dent fixed. None of it was done properly so they had to come pick up and brought it back then truck is not properly installed it does not close & open properly and inside plastic parts are not assembled so it s hanging off.. what a disappointment after 12-15k insurance check plus out of pocket.. I don t recommend them for repairing Tahoe. Not up to my Standards at all.

I have had work done at Gold Standard Auto Body 3 times and I have sent several coworkers and friends there. We have all had quality work done, at a more than fair price, and complete on time. The people there explain what they are doing, make suggestions, and assure your satisfaction. Gold Standard has done body work, interior trim repairs, along with some electrical for me. They recommend OEM and quality parts, knowing that s the foundation for a good job. Where they can, they save you money. But my satisfaction with the quality was top on the list.

I wouldnt recommend them or use them again. I used them to fix my van after a tree fell on it. Made an insurance claim and they took it from there working out an estimate with insurance. We sent photos on top of took it to them and they took their own photos. They failed to tell me they would need my van for 2 weeks to fix it until the day i dropped it off so i had to last minute rearrange plans because it is a daily driver. Then when we picked it up things were not fixed properly and they tried to say they werent informed of that damage. They were and it should have been wrapped up in the insurance estimate. Plus the recite they gave me said that they buffed the spots they apparently werent informed of. Which i pointed out very clearly to them when they said they didnt know about it. They Completely avoided fixing the hood and tried to say the dents were from hail damage or nuts falling off trees however the dents arrived there after the tree fell on the van and we have not had any hail or parked anywhere nuts could fall on it. They took the van back and retouched some spots on the side but still said the hood would be up to 1000 to fix and im not paying it out of pocket for damage claimed through insurance. Also i got my van back with a deep scratch in my driver door that wasnt there before i dropped it off. They buffed over it the second time but didnt properly fix it. They dont seem to care about the work they do. Im glad i didnt waste money out of pocket on them. THE ONLY GOOD THING I GOT OUT OF IT WAS THEY VACCUMED MY ENTIRE PASSAGER VAN FOR ME. Other then that not impressed.Service: Body & Trim

Haven't had the car repaired yet . They were friendly and I received the estimate quickly. I am hoping the repair is as good as I have been told by others who have had their vehicles repaired there.

Highly recommend these guys.! They do great work! Car came out better than new, and I love that they repaired our bumper rather than just replacing it.! My wife's plastic (polyurethane) bumper had a bad gash and paint scrape.. the price was great and the repair was excellent.!

This was the third time I have had to do business with these wonderful people! I can t drive so don t judge me! But honestly I wouldn t do business with anyone else! They are great at what they do and they always try to help you out if its possible! Brad and Jim are both amazing and I will always bring my car to them! Thank you guys so much for all the miracles you both do! You both are blessings to people like me!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Brad and Jim at Gold Standard. From the estimate all the way to pickup, they made everything easy and painless. The work they did on my 2014 Ford Escape is impeccable and it looks brand new! Highly reccomend as the best body shop in Hickory!

All I wanted was my door handle replaced. I bought the part made an appointment an had the work done. It is terrible. A lot of folks let this kind of thing slide but not me. The seal around the housing is not flush and it causes the housing to sit unevenly. Jim asked me to pay cash and took 30 bucks less than the estimate. I would rather pay more and it be right! I don't know why people can't just be straight! Very disappointed.

Great work. Funny thing is i was quoted a low price by this business and when my adjuster looked at my car he awarded me about 50 dollars more than what i was quoted.Funny thing though, when i picked up me vehicle, they charged me what they quoted me plus the extra 50 dollars, lol! They charged me EXACTLY what my adjuster had wrote the check for, exactly even though they had quoted me lower, it's a racket. Great job though.

I don t recommend this place after my experience. Went to get my car for an estimate here and he wouldn t even bother getting an estimate and told me to get an estimate somewhere else.

Jim has done a lot of repairs for us. He is very honest & does a fantastic job. He cares about his customers & not greedy. Will do all he can to get his best price along with the work being done the way it should. You areally at the right place no need to look any further!!!Beth Fulghum
