VERY impressed. I called as soon as they opened and talked with Anthony and asked if he could get me in for an install of an amp and subs. I already had the equipment and he said that was totally fine. They got me in same day at 2pm. Installed my kicker amp and comp R 12s and bass knob in less than 2 hrs. Shawn did the install and went over everything with me. The entire experience was great. I have 0 complaints. Josh, Shawn, and Anthony all took care of me and Shawn really got that Rav 4 banging. Holy cow I can t believe how hard it hits and how good it sounds. Will definitely do business again with them and recommend them to everyone.

Had a Kicker Hideaway 10 installed in my Tahoe here, and the installation was quick and extremely professional. The installer went above and beyond and did exactly what I asked with the bass knob, and it turned out awesome. Fair price for a pro install, highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend Freeman's Hickory location for your car stereo needs!Anthony did a superb job with my 2004 Chrvrolet Corvette. Sound quality is amazing, even with the top down, and I will DEFINITELY be back for more when purchasing my next muscle/exotic car.Anthony even resolved an issue with my passenger window/mirror after the install!5 stars all the way!

Ive been here several times in several vehicles. Each time we received superior service and honesty in evaluations.This place makes an old guy happy for quality workmanship, fairness and responsible suggestions. I'm still impressed by this place . I highly .recommended this shop.

Forgot to leave a comment. All of the staff at the Hickory store location goes over the top to help you out a cover what you want. Plus my boy Shawn that did the installation made it look like it was made in my truck. And Shawn went over how everything works on the stereo. I will be back again to get more stuff. ROCK ON HICKORY STORE!!!!

Great customer service and communication throughout the whole process. My installer Shawn done a terrific job on installing my new car stereo, backup camera, and door speakers and was very helpful in showing me how to use my new stereo. A++++ Highly recommend this business!

Excellent service overall! Tint looks amazing and the application looks flawless I'm very happy with it. Josh provided excellent customer service. Cameron & Anthony rock! The helped me diagnose an issue for the wiring on my Kenwood headunit for my car. Very quick & efficient.UPDATE: Came by a week later (12/12/23) after taking their advice on switching to a IDataLink Maestro and got everything installed and hooked up! I couldn t be happier!!

Took my Simpson helmet in to install H-D Bluetooth mic & speaker kit. Josh and Anthony were great. Same day service and I was riding again. I would recommend these guys to any biker that needs Bluetooth installed.

I selected Freeman Car Stereo for my automotive needs due to their current high Google review ratings. My visit to Freeman Car Stereo was exceptional today. The manager and staff are super friendly and experts in their field. I had a remote starter installed in my Hummer and the manager provided me a demonstration on the device which worked perfectly. The cost of the remote starter and labor was very affordable. I highly recommend Freeman Car Stereo for your personal automotive needs.

Shawn did a great job hooking up my system to a 2019 Corolla with stock radio. Everything was well hidden and works as it should. Freeman's is my go to when I need a new amp and sub hooked up on my cars.

Long term review I had a boss single din audio head unit put in with the dash kit about a year back after 3 months the head unit would not work. I took out the unit myself to realize how bad the wiring job was done, the wires was half connected and never done right. Had to redo the wiring myself and learnt to just do it myself.

I have bought 3 sound systems from here due to the lack of competition. The 2nd and 3rd sound systems have really let me down. They installed the bass nob under my steering wheel not were I wanted. They con me into buying a capacitor, because my system keeps turning off. Wich did not solve the problem. I feel I left with what ever they wanted not what I wanted. I wanted a loud boom with out the power going dim and I was willing to buy what ever it took. At the end they (yes multiple people at multiple locations at there stores) told me that I should get a high capacity alternator to fix the problem, a service wich they don't offer. So in short they are not the fix all of sound and maybe that's due to lack of competition or maybe because there big now.

We were looking for a system for our sons 2005 Tahoe and went to Freemans. They were very knowledgeable and helped us pick the right one ! He is so happy with the product. More important to me was how easy the process was. Everything was ready and the installation was quick and it looks awesome ! Thank you Freemans for the great experience !

These guys are the best. Quality work at a reasonable price and above all they stand behind their work. They installed a new system for me over SIX years ago. Recently I had a minor back up camera issue with loose screws and they took the time to fix it for FREE! I will never go anywhere else for my car audio and up fit needs. Thanks guys for taking the time to provide the best customer service I have encountered in many years!

Shawn installed my touchscreen car stereo two weeks ago and it works great! I went back and got subs installed and the service was great again! Josh was very helpful, patient, and informative.

The install was very neat and looked as if it was factory . Shawn the installer was quite helpfull with answering our questions. Freemans will definitely be recommended. A job well done.We also went back for a additional upgrade the addition of a secondary sub. Very neat and professional crew another happy customer.

Just want to let anybody in the hickory area or surrounding counties know that freemans is awesome. If you need anything done to your vehicles Rich and Cameron are the guys to see. Josh, Cameron, and Shawn are all excellent. I had a complete system replacement (head unit, front/rear speakers, sub, and new amp) in my Jeep Wrangler, and I couldn't be more pleased. Very professional installation and top-notch customer service. I am a very meticulous person when it comes to my vehicles, and I highly recommend them for any audio or automotive needs.

I have a classic '88 Porsche 911 Carrera, recently restored, but the sound system definitely sounded just that old. I took the car to Freeman's, they listened to it, and recommended a reasonably priced set of new speakers and an amp to drive them. They installed the components today, and the improvement in the sound is astounding. They were efficient, very helpful, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend Freemans in Hickory, NC.

Excellent service and friendly staff! The general manager Josh, and the guys I spoke with - Cam and Sean - were all super professional, helpful, and honest. Very reasonable place to have work done with honest pricing and people, which is hard to come by. Absolutely recommend.
