The staff is very courteous and they provide a good service and can accomplish a lot of tasks, with the exception of major engine work. They helped me by diagnosing an issue with my vehicle. I gave permission for the team to get to the root cause only to find out after the labor, they could not do the work. The good thing is, the engine is apart for the next place to rebuild or install a new one. The unfortunate part is, it cost 800 dollars and no resolution. The technician and the staff did do what they know, so I can not fault them for that. It is just painful to spend that kind of money for the vehicle to still need work and sit. I wishI would have known they could not perform the work up front and I could have gone to a place that does major engine work and that 800 could be a part of that total cost. You live and learn.

All was great, just had to wait 3 hours, with an appt. Only 1 alignment bay so we had to wait while during test drive, another car was pulled into the bay and we had to wait an additional 30-45 mins. Just a long day but love the new tires and alignment is almost ok

I did not take my vehicle up here. I came up here with a question about my alignment. I had it done at NTB and I had questions, so I was told to come back up. Drove an extra 25 miles that I did not have to drive. When I got up there I was pretty much treated like a Karen and was told to call back tomorrow. I had questions and I was not getting answers from ntb. I came up to Firestone and talked to a gentleman leave his name is jamie. Very knowledgeable very knowledgeable he explained everything and found out it was done correctly. He did say he could have been moved over a little bit more but it would have been more trouble. But just him explain it to me instead of just saying you need to get a manager, it made all the difference in the world. So basically next time I need an alignment I'm coming up here to Firestone, where they took the extra 5 minutes to explain things to people that maybe don't have as much mechanical knowledge as they do.

Very tenanted technicians and will help you to meet your needs. Better, book an appointment. Saw a ton of loyal customers. That speak their professionalism. Big plus, are they open on Saturdays.

Brought a vehicle for inspection they failed it for numerous things just to line their pockets took it straight to another inspector and they passed it no issues at all. Hmmm guess they were just trying to blow smoke up my butt and try to charge me for things I don t need

I wanted to recognize Jimmy Sweet, store manager, for all of his help in resolving a repeated issue that I had with my tires. I had taken my car initially to have tires put on at the Mooresville location. After only 6k miles the brand new tires on my 2019 Mercedes were worn out. I had Pirellis on for 2 years prior to this with no issue. No resolution was given to me other than to charge me a prorated amount for new tires which had only been on the vehicle for a little over 3 months. After having to contact Bridgestone corporate for a resolution, they honored my complaint and had the Mooresville store place new tires on the vehicle. The customer service at this location was poor after this had happened when I would bring my vehicle in for a tire rotation. I have had them rotated every 5-7K miles and now after 13k miles on the new set, I took my vehicle to the Hickory location, due to being treated poorly at the other location, for a tire rotation and was told the tires are worn out again already. Jimmy Sweet took a situation that I had been extremely frustrated in dealing with and made it right by getting me a new set of tires and having them installed the next week. I did not have to argue the issue or complain, he just made it right all on his own, which in these types of situations, rarely if ever happens. I have to be honest, I was done dealing with Firestone but after his excellent customer service in making this situation right for me, I will continue to use the Hickory store for my auto needs. Thank you so much Jimmy and also recognition to Shawn Lingerfelt for his excellent customer service when I went to have the new set installed. I cannot thank you all enough for going the extra mile for me. Highly recommend this location.

Services were completed as requested however, inaccurate wait time was provided. Staff stated 30-45 minutes wait time but I wasn't checked out until an hour and a half after. This is detrimental for clients who are tight on time without proper information privided to prepare. Staff also did not provide accurate quote leaving out price of an additional inspection that was not requested permission prior to completion and charge.

My vehicle would not pass inspection with the worn tires. I asked them to put on new tires (2 rear tires.) she quoted me a price- and I asked her, don't I get to choose the tires?" she answered that they only have 1 kind right now. They put 'highway' tires on a Titan 4x4 work truck! straight tread! I didn't even realize til I got back home. they charged me 6 fees for putting on those tires. Who puts straight tread highway ties on a 4x4 service truck?! I thought surely they would match the rugged all terrains on the front. Nope. And they also charged me for "road hazzard protection"- like Im ever going back there. can they do that? Just decide I should have these tire insured- they are Crooks! They also charged a NC tire fee AND a disposal tire fee. Steer clear people.

Firestone is a great place to have your car serviced. The people I have interacted with are nice and knowledgeable. They will inform of upcoming issues concerning your vehicle and the regular servicing is a given.

I recently had an unfortunate encounter at Firestone that left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I faced an emergency with my tires, and despite conveying the urgency of the situation, they refused to assist me without an appointment. This disregard for the customer's immediate needs is concerning.Moreover, what struck me the most was the evident lack of empathy displayed by the staff. They seemed uninterested in understanding the gravity of the situation and showed no willingness to accommodate or assist. As a loyal customer, this lack of respect for my concerns and well-being was disheartening.The essence of any successful business lies in its ability to prioritize customer satisfaction and address emergencies with understanding and care. Regrettably, Firestone failed to uphold these fundamental principles.I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others and encourages Firestone to reevaluate their customer service approach. Empathy and respect are not optional traits in the service industry; they are essential in building lasting relationships with customers. Unfortunately, my recent experience leaves me questioning whether Firestone truly values its customers and their well-being.

Okay, after a quick 1200 miles. I did not get the overheating problems. I had to remove the reservoir cap and overflow of coolant out. This I did before the 1200 miles. Since then, overheating problems have been stabilized.Therefore, I have changed my review rating from 2 stars to 4.The reason I don't give 5 is the amount that I had resolved, the problem myself, and the pricing.

I was driving from Pennsylvania to SC and realized that a panel under my car was dragging on the ground when I got off the exit at Hickory to get gas. I called this Firestone service store and asked them if I could stop in and get it repaired, and they told me to immediately come on down. When I arrived, they took my car in and quickly fixed it. I used Firestone when I bought a new set of tires for my daughter's car because they price matched Sam's. I also purchased their lifetime alignment that they offer. My daughter took her car in to the Hickory Nc store because the tires were making a noise. They charged her for rebalancing her tires when that should have been part of the price match due to it being part of Sam's deal. They do not stand behind what they sale, they are the ones that did not balance the tire correctly the first time, or they would not have needed it redone with well under 5000 total miles on the tires.

Would give this place no stars if I could. Take your care somewhere else I m still pissed they charged me $900+ for front brake pads and rotors. Even the dealership said they got over on me and they put the cheapest brakes on they could find. F these guysService: BrakesService: Brakes

I have done business here before with getting my car inspected. I called to ask if they did transmission fluid changes and he said that unless I have proof it's been done before because it has just over a 100k miles, they wouldn't do it. Sort of turning away business. I started to ask about a simple oil change and he hung up on me. This place will be another one going out of business soon I guess and I'll never deal with them again personally.

Very pleased with the staff and mechanics at firestone. I had a full A/C system replaced in my vehicle and all repairs were done in a timely manner that well exceeded my expectations. Any and all questions I had concerning the repairs were answered professionally and without hesitation by qualified employees. I also ended up paying significantly less than what I was originally quoted. I'd like to say to the mechanic that did the repairs that his hard labor is appreciated and didn't go unnoticed.

Firestone was accommodating on a holiday weekend when our radiator went out on way to our vacation destination. With an appointment for the following day, They were able to identify the problem and it was fixed by lunchtime.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I spoke with someone over the phone named Jimmy yesterday who was very helpful about a back tail light out on my daughters car. He gave me a quote and also looked it up in the system to verify the pricing as I was sending my daughter with her car. when she got there someone else told her it would be 4x times as much because more work had to be done. I decided against it and youtube'd changing the tail light. It was a simple switch just as Jimmy originally quoted. I wish I would've got the name of the man that mislead my daughter yesterday. I'm very disappointed that they would try to over charge a teen and a mom. I will never do business with this company again and I wouldn't encourage anyone else to after our experience!Service: Brake service & repair
