I was in a bind, being from out of town & my car developed a bad wobbling of the rear wheel, it turned out, it was a stuck caliber.I had requested other services, which they checked over and informed me that all looked good and I didn't need to spend the money to repair these items at this time.However, they did find an issue with my Serpentine Belt and stated, "knowing you are going on a long road trip home (850miles), that I might want to change it out, since it had cracking and signs of ware. All this was completed in a reasonable time and for a very fair price !All the staff here are super nice and kept me informed, throughout the process....THANK YOU !

My van broke down at the drive thru window at Bojangles! Called Dickinson's and they were there in a few minutes! They jumped it off and I drove it to shop. They quickly took a look and discovered I needed an alternator. They said it might be fixed by tomorrow or it could take til Monday. This was Thursday. Kindly, they loaned me a car. Van was ready to go Friday afternoon! Excellent response time, repairs and service with a smile! Thank you, Dickinson's!

I trust Dickinson's to always do a great job at a reasonable price. We have taken our vehicles there for many years. They are honest about what our vehicles need and never try to sell us on work that doesn't need to be done. They are a great asset to Mt View and surrounding communities. I highly recommended them!

Finding an honest mechanic is one of the most dreaded tasks in adult life but I'm happy to say I lucked out with Dickinson's. I had a number of issues to be repaired and they were done in a day with fair prices. I highly recommend them.

I originally brought my car in for a flutter in the gas pedal. I didn t think it was serious, but Sandy later called and said there was only a small amount of oil on the tip of the dip stick and I may need a new engine. To condense this story, there was no oil appearing on the engine at all and no leaks found so it seemed there was not enough oil put in at my last oil change at a different shop. Driving it now for over 3,000 mikes, it is confirmed that the car was not burning oil either. Why I changed repair shops was I just got a thought of why am I taking it to a shop further away when Dickinson s is right here in Mt View and then a friend sharing with me how much she and her husband liked going there and what a great job they always did. This was shared without them even knowing I was considering going there. That settled it for me and I have never looked back. Everyone is so wonderful to deal with and I feel they saved my car from having to get a new engine. I have no doubt that I will continue to be a customer there!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I brought my car for new tires, a wheel alignment, oil change, and power window repair. Brian was so helpful with selecting new tires and providing different options to meet my driving needs. I was informed of the cost of all services before any work was completed. Dickinson's offers fair price and their service is always exceptional! The service and workmanship at Dickinson s is unparalleled. As a military family and in business we have had automobile service centers all over the east coast. We have not seen or heard of the level of quality offered by Dickinson s anywhere. Review not for quality of work because none was received. Dropped off my van for an estimate. Received no estimate and was told I could scrap it or pick it up. Engine repair or replacement is both on the website list of services. But was not given as an option. Was charged $75 to tell me it was blown. So basically I paid them to tell me something I already knew. The bill quoted " sounds awful, possibly blown". All they did was crank it and the problem was obvious. Just needed to get it fixed. Had real spendable money and everything.

EXCUSE ME? WELL OFCOURSE YOU WOULD TRY AND PLAY INNOCENT, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE THE WRONG GARAGE. I AM 100% SURE YOU ARE THE RIGHT GARAGE!! AND THANKS TO YOUR MECHANICS OR WHOEVER,, THE TRANSMISSION THREW A CODE FOR FAULTY TRANS. IF ONLY I WOULD HAVE NOT TRUSTED MY LIFELINE IN YOUR HANDS, BUT I DID ....if I could give you a zero star review I would. LONG STORY SHORT How about taking your vehicle for a transmission service one day ... (which consists of changing the fluid, changing the filter, and putting a new gasket on the transmission pan)...SO I THOUGHT AND I PAID $764.00 whoa that's Alot of money when you get home only to find the bolts on your transmission pan are hand turned just enough to hold on and there is fluid leaking very heavily. Then you call up there to tell them something isn't right... you let them know you inspected your vehicle and find they didn't do anything but loosen your bolts on the pan and you were charged $764.00.... We trusted this company for years and years and years .... but Anyways she tells me to come back and has the nerve to tell me they were doing it for free this time!! Omg the audacity! I paid for the service the first time I came when they sabotaged my jeep!or maybe They didn't, I really don't know, maybe it was a mistake? Maybe somebody thought they did the job had a bad day or something going on and didn't do the job I don't know what happened. All I do know is I was left with my transmission screwEd up and I will never recommend or trust these people AGAIN. my recommendation is to just go to the dealership they will take care of you. DO NOT GO TO DICKINSONS i feel like they SABOTAGED MY GRANDFATHERS VEHICLE... AND MY DUMB BUTT TOOK IT BACK FOR THEM TO SUPPOSEDLY DO THE JOB THEY WERE PAID FOR :( NOW OUR JEEPS TRANSMISSION IS DONE FOR. IM SO DISSAPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

I went there to get my motorcycle inspected today and they were some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The inspection was quick and easy. Definitely recommend.

Been using Dickinson s for years for anything from oil changes and standard services like a/c repair and tires/brakes to complete engine replacement and transmission work on a variety of vehicles and have always been satisfied. They stand by their work. We were a family bringing our son to NC State from Asheville, NC. We were stranded at a rest stop. Dickinson came and towed my son's car. Diagnosed it the following week and got us fixed up that day. A true life saver

Edited: I had an issue with one of the mechanics overlooking a damaged part and had to take my car elsewhere for repair. When Darren became aware of the issue, he called me personally and made things right. Dickinson Service Center is a great place to visit for Auto repair and servicing. Full inventory of new tires, and proper new state of the art equipment to have them installed and aligned with, as well as all other services needed. Dickinson s has done my auto repair and maintenance for over eight years. They are capable and honest. Not only will they do the work right at a fair price, they will also tell you when something is not worth doing, even though they lose the opportunity to do the work. If you are looking for a good, competent, honest shop, I highly recommend you give them a try.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went to get my car inspected, I purchased brand new tires last year at white tire (they are great) the man came out and told me my car failed inspection bc my two front tires were bad. And he couldn t pass it unless I got two new tires.I knew it was wrong and I knew immediately he was trying to sell me tires.I immediately got in touch with white tire and they told me to go ahead and bring my car in. They inspected it and told me that it had passed and my two front tires were NOT bad and could not possibly fail for inspection. Even broke down the condition of my tires and explained how they would have to be in order to fail.I think it s absolutely horrible that a company would lie to someone just to try and make some money. I m grateful that I knew that it was not possible that my tires were bad, especially being I had only bought them 10 months ago.What a joke.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

So I bought a tire from Dickinson and I had an additional tire that I bought cheaper (but still new) from Walmart with me in the back of my vehicle. When I went to go purchase the tire that I ordered from Dickinson I asked could they put on both tires (the one that I bought from them including the one I bought from Walmart) on the rear end of my vehicle. I was informed know that they do not do that, baffled by this I bought the tire and took both of my tires to Sigs downtown Hickory across from the police department, and they mounted and balanced both of them. No questions asked. Buyer beware I guess if you take an outside tire that is brand new to Dickinson whether you purchased one from them or not, they will Not put it on for you.(I guess this is policy but also she never stated that it was policy so again buyer beware)

Dickinson came to our rescue when our RV broke down as we were passing through the area on a trip. Although they were busy, they squeezed us in and replaced our muffler, replaced and rerouted the exhaust pipe, and balanced and reinstalled the drive shaft, allowing us to be on our way the same day. Can't say enough good things about them!Service: Exhaust

I have been with Dickinsons's now for about 3 years. They are by far the best group of people to work with. They do not try and upsell you and truly look out for your well being. The level of professionalism is top notch! Give them a try soon!

Dickinson Service Center has been taking care of the services and any mechanical or electrical issues that have popped up in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee bought used with 10,000 miles. Since then I've put more than 400,000 more miles on the car without any worry. I highly recommend them for their quick and carefully performed services and repairs.
