Custom Body Works did a great job! You can't tell I was ever in an accident. They worked with the other person's insurance & took care of everything. The staff was so helpful & nice. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am so pleased with the work that Custom did on my vehicle. You would never know it was in an accident! The repair work is by far amazing. Jeremy kept me informed on what was going on and it was literally dropping off and picking up my car. He communicated directly with insurance and the entire experience was stress free. There are too-many complaints to mention individually. The work that was done appears to have been done accurately, but the business repaired things that were NOT part of the orginal accident. I went over my insurance thresh hold, when I had tried so hard to keep cost down! It took the business several days to disassemble the car and tell what else was need, when my insurance in the meantime was paying for a rental car. This was wasted money! If I make an appointment, then the car should be taken apart that day or the next day at the latest! This was definitely NOT a good experience.

I was involved in a minor accident that required body work. My wife had used Custom Body Works before. My insurance company was the only negative aspect of this ordeal. The car is flawless after repair. They kept me informed throughout the process. Top notch business.

Custom Body Works has repaired two different vehicles for us on two different occasions, and in each instance, we were extremely satisfied. They are beyond the best at what they do...they respect my vehicle, and both vehicles were returned looking like new. We had an excellent experience with Custom Body Works to repair our 2023 Ford Explorer ST after a t-bone accident that was not our fault. CBW worked well with the insurance to make sure the repair was done correctly. Also provided a recommendation for a diminished value appraisal to help reclaim value losses incurred. Seamless, stress free experience. Jeremy and the rest of the staff were professional and I got an extremely high quality repair. They communicated with my insurance company and rental car company making my repair nearly a stress free experience. Just picked up my Subaru from this business. Highly recommend. From the time of my accident I was able to arrange towing through them and repairs were done on schedule. Car looks great. Also excellent communication when needed. They made this very easy for me. If needed again ( and I sincerely hope not!) I had repair to rear end of vehicle due to collision. The replacement parts were painted and the new parts perfectly matched existing paint. Form fit and function is perfect. Make sure read your paperwork clearly! They will screw you over on work to be done. Would NEVER recommend. Update from response: The estimate from my insurance NEVER said this was previous damages. I sent my insurance company pictures as they didn't have someone in the field to come personally to look at it, and it was hard to see the scratches in the picture. My insurance even said they would cut another check but to you at Custom to repair what u WERE ORIGINALLY to repair and I said absolutely NOT! I will go elsewhere! I have emails with your receptionist from day ONE on everything to be corrected. Hence, why I said CHECK PAPERWORK with Custom Body! Or better yet- do not use them at all! I have proof of everything I am saying. Do you?

As a veteran insurance agent, I highly recommend this body shop. Custom Body Works has been a staple in Hickory NC for many years. I consider it to be the Crown Jewel of body shops. It's reputation far exceeds any other local shop. Jack has spent a lifetime building this business and Jeremy does a great job carrying on the family tradition. After two attempts, car still wasn t right, stripes the wrong color, stripes do not line up, they took the back up camera out of the deck lid and didn t put it back, and there is black paint bleeding over in to the stripesService: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim
