We were on a road trip and noticed one of our tires was losing air. After adding air a couple times we realized we needed to get it checked. We pulled into Country Town Tire. It was clean and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly and prompt. I explained the issue and within a few minutes they had repaired the tire. As I prepared to pay he said "oh, no charges have a safe trip home." If you live in the Hickory area, I would highly recommend County Town Tire. They were kind, honest and quick to get us back on the road.Service: Auto tire replacement

Didn't even get my truck home after a week or two being in the garage and it broke down and then they wanted me to pay the tow bill to have it brought back up their I would not recommend this place customer service sucks and mechanics are not much better

I called and made an appointment for replacing my starter and balancing my tires. I was told an approx price and the job would be done by the end of the day. I dropped the car off Sun the evening. At 2 pm Monday, I had not heard from the shop so I called to be told that they hadn't had a chance to work on it, but to call back around 430 and it should be done. I called at 430 to be told that their computer system was down that morning and they were behind on their work and it would be the next day before they could fix my car. This was a major inconvenience and there was no apology- only the excuse their computers were down. I then went to pick up my car the next afternoon and the bill was more than estimated by $80.The next day I noticed a rubbing noise with my two front tires any time I turned the tires. Upon inspecting this, I found they had forgotten to replace the bolts that connected and stabilized the wheel well covering which resulted in my tires rubbing and creating 2 large holes in the coverings!I did not reach out to the shop because I am sure they would have denied this was their fault, but prior to them fixing the car there were no issues with my front tires rubbing.I will not be recommending their services and hope other customers have better luck than I did!

The best guys in town! They didn't charge me anything to fix a tire and I only waited 10 minutes I'll buy my next tires here.

Jerry was quick to get us the help we needed. Our tire blew on the way through town. He was able to get us in and out in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. If I lived in Hickory I would definitely go back for any future needs.

Jerry is a great manager there at Country Town Tire! Being a landscaper, i need my truck back ASAP and they did not disappoint. Took it in on Wednesday afternoon, and they had my starter put in by Thursday midday. They did find a crack in my intake manifold so i told them to fix that while they had it. Ordered the part Thursday and i was back mowing Friday at lunchtime. Competitive pricing and friendly staff that just want to make their customers happy. My starter was under warranty so they put a new one in and they ate the labor so i didn't have to pay a dime to have it installed. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for when it comes to mechanical work. I'll gladly pay a little more to have it done right by true professionals. 10/10 definitely recommend!! Go check them out over across tate blvd going towards LRU on LR Blvd. I'll definitely be back because the service was so fast and they're so good at what they do.Andy GLooking Good Lawnscape LLC

So my wife go to this shop today and replace sway bar and wheel alignment. The bill is 493.23 people who knows cars know that s way over price avg price should be around 135 to 200 they charge 190 for part for 2 sway bar link(should be around 34-60)and 195 for labor (charge 3 hr which job only take 1hr, even they tell car r rdy after 2 hr and they still charge 3...) and 69for alignment(fair). I wasn t happy when my wife pass me the bill. I felt like they trying to rip her off specially those who don t know much about it but since my wife already agree on the phone we will pay the price. So be aware and do you own DD don t always be ok with the price that they tell you. Hopefully shop itself saw this review and fix the over pricing chargers, long term business need good reputation, people will eventually find out what you guys did and not coming back. Yes we don t have car problems all the time but words pass around now day way easier than before with social media so good luck.Service: Wheel alignment

My engine blew and were super nice and helpful with me and my husband. Work was done quickly and price was right on the money. They didn't try to sell me anything other then what i asked for. Great place will be using again and again.

Have this is a place I've done business with for over 30 years the staff Jerry particular is always been so helpful when I referred my parents to them they took them under their arm as if they were part of their own family and for all these years I've done an excellent job of caring for my older parents taking care of me it's a few need tires if you need service it's where you ought to go so great Hometown facility

Took my BMW for inspection. Asked them to check all my fluid levels before I make an 1100 mile trip to NY5. They were glad to say that I needed tires but when I got my BMW back there was grease all over my floorboard. Had to buy something just to clean the grease mess that they made. That night my radiator light6came on. They didn't check one thing on my car. Glad I wasn't on my trip.Service: Vehicle Inspection

So we did not take our vehicle here. It was a sublet repair from Gerber body shop. I spoke with the tech who checked our vehicle out for suspension damage. He told me that the whole rear cradle along with the right rear components would need to be replaced. I bought it back from my insurance company, cause in the end they totaled my vehicle. I tore down the right rear and only 3 components were damaged. The shock and 2 stabilizers were bent. I bought all 3 pieces for around 117.00 and performed the alignment myself which was pretty close after the parts replacement. So beware! They are out for themselves!!!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I would not take my car anywhere else. At Country Town they are honest and the work they do is reliable. The prices are what you would expect and nothing more. They never try to talk you into things that are not needed, but give you good, honest advice.

They carry my tire sizes, which are staggered & 2 different sizes, whereas the other tire stores in the area had to order. I guess I'll be going there for my Infiniti G35 tires from now on. Nice guys, quick, professional service.

Stopped by to have a leak in my tire checked on a Friday afternoon. Was told I had a bolt in the sidewall and would have to have a new tire. They didn't have a matching tire....but tried their best to push a less expensive tire on me that didn't match. I took the car to another place that had the tire I needed. NO BOLT IN THE SIDEWALL! I had a small screw in the tread, twisted out with screwdriver and plugged for free at the other place. I would not recommend these folks to anyone.....make sure they show you the problem. Not to be trusted!

CONSUMER BEWARE...I had 4 tires replaced here and within a month two of my stems have cracks and has cost me an extra $250 for a new tire and 2 new stems. I would so elsewhere for a more dependable service place.
