(Saturday)Took my 2018 Ford Escape in because the windshield wipers stopped working. Service department looked at it and said they had to order parts. Would be in Monday. (Monday) Go to get the car, Parts were defective BUT they found the parts at a dealership 8 miles down the road. (Tuesday) Car was repaired by 2pm.

I have had great service here. Steve Watts has been my service advisor for years and have always saw that my vehicle's were in top notch shape. I have had good experiences with service and have purchased several vehicle here also.

Had oil change done on my Ford Maverick today, Was supposed to get tire rotation as well but didn't. Service staff acted like I was an inconvenience. Feltlike I was at the DMV getting in trouble for a late renewal from the evil person behind the desk .Lots of playing around and bad language right in front of me. Felt like this staff thinks its still covid lockdown play time. Will not be returning to this place again! Tried to get a scratched door panel ordered that I was promised when truck was delivered three different times but nobody had a clue?? Spoke of how they fired the man who sold me the truck. I feel like contacting him myself and making him aware of the slander they are spreading about the poor old guy! Most unprofessional service team I have ever seen!Service: Oil change

Great experience. Tyler the Service manager was super to deal with and very accommodating. He spent time with me and explained the whole process and encouraged me to ask questions. All the staff was polite and helpful. I will definitely come back to have the vehicle worked on in the future.

Waited from 8:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. to be told that they had to order "the recalled part", that I was given the appointment(by them) for them to fix!!! Going to have to take my car back to have the recalled part put on, so we'll see if they get a better rating then. For now two miserable stars. The specialist Melanie was great and is the only reason they get 2 stars anyway.

People deserve to be acknowledged when they go above and beyond to get your car up and running again..especially when a 2016 motor got a hand sized hole from a blown piston..It was towed to a nearby Charlotte Ford dealership who did SQUAT to help..Ashley Curtis, along with John our original salesman ,at Cloniger Ford had it towed from Charlotte to Hickory,followed up on extended warranty coverage , and had it completed in less than a week!!!!She made sure my husband got a no charge loaner and gave an overall 5 star service..Nice there are still people who believe in great customer service

I called in and spoke to a guy named Dave Verill I told him I was interested in a vehicle that was on their site and he gave me a few things I needed to send to him and within 2 hours he called back with an approval. I m more than pleased with my purchase and how fast they made it happen, the buying process was very smooth. Thank you Dave and I will be definitely be referring friends and family as well as bring my future needs back to you.

WARNING NEVER BUY FROM HERE..I contacted them over the internet and sent them an offer to buy a vehicle that included tax tags and fees since I was bringing them a certified check from my bank.They accepted and I specifically told the salesperson that I was driving from 2 hours away I wanted to make sure everything was included in the price and the car would be ready when I got there he agreed. When I arrive I drove the car it was fine went in to do paperwork and give them the check. A few weeks later I get something in the mail saying I must pay sales tax on the vehicle before I can get my title or my tag over $500. I called the sales managers and the finance and no one would return my calls. I sold cars for 12 years and I never sold 1 car that sales tax was not included in the deal. I didn't even know that was possible. The salesman then lied and said I requested the deal that way and when I showed him our corresponding emails that showed the truth he said the managers were not going to do anything which was obvious considering they would take or receive 1 of my calls. The salesman told me he would send me referral checks in the amount of $100 to make up the difference and I never got one just excuses over a period of months. Finally I got pulled over and written over $700 in tickets for infractions having to do with no tag or registration since I couldn't get one yet. I called Larry Cloninger and left him a message at his office in Salisbury since I sold cars for him at Salisbury for over 2 years and after that the salesman told me that he couldn't send the checks which he never sent one in 3 months. But I wouldn't know what to believe because in over 3 months I couldn't get in contact with 1 manager or finance or the salesperson or the owner I had worked for.AVOID AT ALL COST ESPECIALLY if YOU ARE DEALING WITH OVER THE INTERNET

I just had my car appraised but the dude was super sweet and easy on the eyes too...that always helps out a tad especially when you're stuck in a car with em feelin' all stupid and awkward...lol...but my salesman was super sweet too and very knowledgeable about any question I threw at him. I can't remember his name to save my life or find his card but when I do -- I'll post his name cause if ya go there...ya need to snag him up ...

Went there to look at some vehicles. They ran my credit 30+ times thru different banks. Lied about the car I could afford. Lied about to payments. Lied about the warranty. Just all around a horrible place to buy a vehicle in my experience. The car I bought now after 3 months has engine light on and is missing very bad when running. I now know never to go back again.

I love this place. Out of all the different dealership in sales this one is by far the best one I've been to. Really friendly staff and seems like they are always trying to go the extra mile to take care of me.

I wish I could give zero stars. My car salesmen was transphobic towards another customer infrount of me. I also bought my car on February 1 2020 it is April 15th and Im already here for my first oil change. I was told I had a 1 year maintenance and after I had already signed for the car I was given 2 gift certificates for oil changes to last a whole year. Its been 2 months and now I am left with one gift certificate for 10 months when I had expected to have a full years covorage like promised. I did try to talk to them about this first and was basically told I drive to much and should be grateful for the two oil changes I get. Double check everything if you choose to go here.

My husband has been wanting a truck for the longest time and we re so thankful to have found it here. Malyk F. is the BEST!! We can t thank him enough for his professionalism and making us feel comfortable. Never once did we feel pressured to hurry up and buy because Malyk took his time and helped us look through a lot of trucks until we found the right one for us. Thank you again!!

I have hearing loss and do wear visible hearing aids. I purchased a late-model used car from the dealer in good faith. I was NOT informed that the vehicle was louder than stock. I contacted AJ about this after family members noted how loud the car was and that my first oil change confirmed the exhaust had been altered. AJ suggested I contact the service department if I wanted to purchase the factory parts to correct the issue. I accept my hearing loss but do not appreciate it being used to be taken advantage.

Was in for oil change and NC inspection. Asked about new tires young man came back before 4pm and said All the tire stores are closed, oh well. I was open to listening to the price and perhaps returning on Thursday or Friday. Evidently that was not an option as it was not offered.It is really sad Hickory doesn t have a different Ford Dealership.Service: Oil change

It was my first time there. I bought my used pickup there. I get 2 free oil changes that they call 'the works' which includes checking bunch of other stuff. It was a good experience.

My brother took his focus to Cloninger for transmission issues (obviously transmission barley changed gears). Took two days to tell him it s the trans, and instead of giving him a rental car, they told him he could come get the car until Monday so they could work on it then. How do they think you could drive a car with a bad trans for three days until they can fix it. Instead of cheating out all they had to do was give a rental until they could fix it, but no they had to be as cheap as possible. Because of this they have lost my business ( I ve bought a 2016 f150 for them) and for my brother. Thanks for nothing.

Bought a vehicle there. That all went very well. However, 90% of the staff didn't have a masked on. I felt very uncomfortable there. Management should do a better job regarding masks

The woman service person I had would walk away from me as I am talking to her. At least 3x. Very rude. Wouldn't answer me. I dont like them I have had to deal with them twice. They're not customer friendly.

These service members are so professional and add a personal touch to their customers needs , Melanie is our service advisor and she not only takes care of all our vehicles but is a trusted friend .The Partin family loves Cloninger Ford !!
