Absolutely phenomenal work! Great people great service. Danny did an excellent job on my corvette. Price was more than fair. I love dealing with local businesses. They will get all my exhaust work.

Highly recommend this shop. Moved here not too long ago, so wasn t entirely sure where to go. My exhaust had rusted and split. I got there shortly after 12 and had to wait for everyone to get back from lunch (but that was explained to me ahead of time and I had no problem waiting) - I d just recommend getting here before 12 or after 1. Anyways - Danny worked on my exhaust, showed me everything on the car before he did anything, told me his plan and allowed me to watch his work (from a safe distance). Danny was great - Honest guy and I appreciate the work! Very affordable and my car is running great and sounds so much better now.

Liz Hass to be the best place to take your vehicle nowadays they are the only ones that didn t try to take me just because I m a woman I ve had a lot of work done there oil changes alternator transmission just about anything you can imagine way way less than what anybody else would charge and as far as an oil change using the synthetic oil you cannot get it cheaper anywhere else you just can t find a place like this nowadays and the owner Darrell is the most respectful Nice and honest as a person you can find and thank you for all the work you ve done for me

Did work work on my F150 paid for parts and labor only to find out a few weeks later that only HALF of the parts that I was charged for had been replaced 1300.00 paid to Darrell as soon as the supposed repairs were made!! I never questioned his integrity or the integrity of his mechanics!! BUT MY TRUCK STARTED HAVING THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS IT DID PRIOR TO SUPPOSED REPAIRS. So I PERSONALLY STARTED MY OWN INVESTIGATION AS TO WHAT WAS GOING ON and IT WAS THEN WHEN I REALIZED THAT I HAD BEEN FLAT OUT CHEATED OUT OF 1300,00. I grew up working on my own vehicles but as I ve gotten older I prefer to pay a GARAGE to do the work SO I DO HAVE ENOUGH TO KNOWLEDGE TO KNOW WHEN A PART HASNT BEEN REPLACED IN THIS CASE THERE WERE A FEW I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION!! CONSUMER BEWARE .BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND SHADY MECHANICS!!! DONT DO IT I can ALMOST PROMISE YOU THAT HIS BUSINESS IS SOLELY SUPPORTED BY RETURN CUSTOMERS WHOM CONSTANTLY HAVE REPAIRS MADE ARE BECAUSE OF ISSUES INTENTIONALLY CREATED BY THE GARAGE..: BOTTOM LINE IS ITS FRAUD AND I HAVE DOCUMENTED PROOF OF EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED IN THIS REVIEW!!! Will be REPORTING AND FILLING A COMPLAINT TO THE BBB AND THE NC DOJ OFFICE BUSINESSES LIKE THIS NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN PERIOD!!! I WOULDN T RATE THEM AT ALL IF I HAD THAT OPTION!!! CROOKS!!! IF YOU CONSTANTLY HAVE TO HAVE REPAIRS DONE BY THE SAME GARAGE ON THE SAME VEHICLE then chances are YOU ARE FRAUDULENTLY BEING CATFISHED !!!

They have always treated me right when I go here. Usually go for inspections and they always try to get me in asap, even though they are usually pretty busy. Which, I think that speaks for itself. All his customers can't be wrong. lol They do good work.

This place was awesome . I love the old school people who run it. I have a Mini Cooper and they were happy to put a performance muffler on it, not to mention how cheap they were. Did good and quick work welding on a new exhaust. I even had it begin to rattle the next day, and they made sure they fixed it free of charge. Some great people here, and I will be coming back.

Great guys fair pricing and most of all they get the job done. Just this week they did a great job on my car install a clutch kit and transmission that was busted I will always take my car to these guys best around period Darrell and his crew are the greatest at diagnosing the problem and fixing it bottom line. Also fixed my car and truck within the same week they are fast and will get you up and going again these guys treat you right and will save you money can t beat them.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I went to A1- MUFFLER on Thursday 12/22/2022 to have a new muffler installed on my suv I arrived that morning and as usual, I received ( A-1- SERVICE ) and a JOB VERY WELL DONE I waited for my suv the staff is GREAT they treat you like FAMILY. BIG THANK YOU

Very friendly people with a great work ethic. Quality work at affordable prices. They only did what I wanted done and did not try to upsale me. Good place to go for muffler/exhaust work as well as standard mechanical needs.

Awesome place! They do general work as well as exhaust and muffler repair. The owner and his right hand man are two old salts that's forgotten more about cars than most technicians will ever know. Not to mention there prices are super low. Seriously if you need work done, don't think twice before bringing your car here.

Good down-to-earth folks. Stopped by for an estimate and information about putting a Flowmaster muffler on my truck. They had the part in stock and did the work while I waited, for a very reasonable price. Overall quite satisfied with the whole process.

Called for a price, it was fair and i was told to come on in they'd work me in. So I drove the 45 minutes to get there only to wait 30 minutes before even talking to anyone and even then I had to step up and say something. Come to find out the man I spoke with on the phone had left ( apparently he was the manager or something like that) without saying anything to anyone. Then they told me they won't be able to get to me and that was it! They jumped to someone else like I wasn't even there. Little did they know the work I was having done was temporary and was about to have my whole exhaust system upgraded, which would have been good easy money for them. But oh well!

Did a full custom exhaust on my 2006 mini Cooper S, did a beautiful job and made it look and sound 10X better. I will definitely bring my other exhaust jobs here from now on. Fantastic crew works here, friendly fast service for a great price.

The guys at A-1 Muffler did an amazing job installing my magnaflow muffler and discovering exhaust leaks. They fixed the leaks and made the car sound amazing. Very friendly and thorough in their work. It's nice to do business with people who care about their work. Will do business again. Highly suggested!

Went in to get my muffler repaired. The older gentleman was nice but a little dismissive. He ended up just kind of leaving but Andrew came out and was very polite, he had my car fixed in less than an hour and my car sounds 10x betterService: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Came in about half a year ago, had an emissions issue that my regular place couldn't fix (dont do exausts) so i googled this shop and they had great reviews so I went to them. I went in expecting them to see the issue, have to order the part and come back, no problem. But they say they can fix it now, so I say great, expecting they had the part. Turns out that they did a hack job to my exaust pipes and stuck it all together with putty. Now I failed inspection and have to get it fixed again. Beware short cuts and hack jobs. Service: Exhaust

This was my first time using A1 Muffler. Danny did some exhaust work for me & I ll have to say, you CANNOT beat the value for the money that you get here. Danny & Darrell are just a couple good ole boys who definitely know what they re doing when it comes to vehicles. I had a pleasant experience & I would definitely go back. Darrell the Manager owner is always fair and charges way less than any dealer and works hard to get the job done. They do it all from engine replacement, oil change any everything else except transmissions. They do clutches. Muffler work is less expensive than anyone in 10 counties.

They told me I needed to replace my muffler and they did. Now several months later when I heard engine noise, I learn that not only did they not replace my muffler they covered the old muffler and made several welds messing up the whole exhause system so I am having to completely replace my exhaust system including my muffler and catalytic converters.In sum, don't trust them or their work. Price may be low but the quality is even lower.Service: Exhaust

They fit me in at the last minute for a brake job and we're cheaper than where I was going to go. They were very friendly. The owner took time to talk to me and get to know me. They will now be my mechanics. Very trustworthy

Rudeness, my brother was told a previous price then once he got there they told him differently. Unprofessional and disrespectful. A-1 Muffler & Service Center did an outstanding job on my truck! The service was quick, efficient, and courteous! The service was awesome and the cost was extremely fair. I have found my new muffler and exhaust service center and I highly recommend this center.

They were busy but that will happen . I Never been here before an was a little bit of a drive to get there but noone else could get my exhaust done today so I called them an they got me in an done an I'm happy an car sounds good an looks good underneath for the exhaust. Will be back if I ever need anything else .

I took my chevy truck to different places and they told me the manifold was bad, but they didn't help me, they told me to find the part and they may fix it, so i took it to A-1 and they find the real problem , they fix it and my truck is running nice and smooth, and for all the hard work i know they went thru fixing a old truck head gasket with some broken bolts, what they charge me was a fraction of the price i though i had to pay, great job guys, i would highly recommend this place! thank you so much!

These guys do great work and are quick. Reasonable prices and great service. Can't beat that. Anything from oil changes to diagnosing an issue they are always very helpful.
