Absolutely the best Audi and VW mechanics in this area. I've been disappointed with the 3 major German mechanic shops in Asheville. I was referred to Zekes by a mutual friend and I've never looked back. They quickly diagnose the issues and then make contact with the customer to discuss options and pricing. Great labor rate and loaded with knowledge. I've never been this satisfied with a mechanic shop ever!

I highly recommend Zeke s. He will take care of your car like it is his own. He installed lowering springs and wheel spacers on my ND Miata, and it turned out great. Great communication, timing, and fair prices.

I had contacted Zeke for my 2015 Audi A3 for an inoperable windshield defrost door. We had made an appointment for the following week and when i dropped it off, he asked how long i intended to leave it for since he had some emergency work ahead of me. I told him i could leave it however long he needed it since i had another vehicle to drive. We figured it would be the first of the week before it was finished, but he came through and called me the following day to tell me my vehicle was ready. Zeke s Autowerks is very knowledgeable, professional, quick and fair priced. I highly recommend them for any of your VW group needs!Service: A/C installation & repair

Unfortunately I broke down in my 2008 Dodge Sprinter near Hendersonville. I live two hours away and Zeke took on the difficult task of replacing my engine. His quote was spot on and his work was above par. I was especially happy with his communication and straight forward approach with me. Replacing an engine is no easy task and after I picked up the van there was some issues that Zeke went above and beyond to make the issue right and now my Sprinter is running like it's brand new. If you have a Sprinter Van this is the shop you need to take it to hands down. Thank you Zeke for getting my adventure mobile back on the road!

I needed a fix on my new to me 2004 Sprinter van and I drove an hour out of my way to have Zeke, one of the few Sprinter specialists in the southeast, see if he can fix her and get me back on the road. Zeke was super helpful on the phone trying to help me troubleshoot my issue. (Try calling a dealer for that kind of service). I told him I could get there about 3:30/4. He said no problem, I am here till 5 everyday . Of course I got there about 4:30 but told him I could stay overnight if need be to troubleshoot in the morning.he ended up pulling me right in and quickly diagnosed a bad turbo hose. Figured he might get one the next day, but he went outside and grabbed a good used on of one of his parts vans. I was off and running before 6 p.m. He did break for a minute to talk to his young children who were wondering why he was not home yet....I was super happy to have an honest , qualified repair tech fix me up after working hours to get me back on the road...

I brought our 2006 Dodge Sprinter work van to Zeke s for a regular service. They found a injector seal leaking and gave me a thorough explanation of different options to fix it. They had the van serviced/repaired and back on the road with in a few days. I like that they are a small locally owned company. Will bring our Sprinter back for service from now on. Thank You Zeke s

The place to go for sprinter vans!!! They've taken care of me twice and were able to get me back on the road quickly when I had time constraints. They are respectful, kind, and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with which is unfortunately rare to say as a solo female. These guys are my favorite mechanics I've ever run into. Their prices are reasonable given they use quality parts. Highly recommend them!

Zeke is a genuine, honest, family mechanic. I'm always a little nervous looking for a good mechanic for my sprinter, especially as a woman with my sprinter as my home. When the engine was overheating, I called around and looked hard for the best mechanic for the job that would be honest, reliable and treat me fairly. I'm so glad I ended up at Zeke's! He is honest, incredibly knowledgeable, and professional. He understood my situation and was able to help me out in a timely fashion, diagnosing that is was the fan clutch that needed replacing (and explaining to me how he came to this conclusion). Zeke has excellent communication and gave me a "worst case" scenario for how much labor & parts would cost (it ended up being much less). He even informed me that there was a warranty on the part and said to give him a call if anything goes wrong within the mileage/timeframe allowed by the warranty. When I called Zeke to tell him my brake light came on he said to swing by and spent time not only diagnosing the issue but explaining SO much to me and making sure I understood what was going on (I was asking questions)! Every time I walk into Zeke's Autowerks I feel like I'm walking into a family member's shop. He is great at what he does, communicates well, is honest and dependable and is genuinely a nice person to be around. He even shared some local spots to check out while I'm in the area. This is the only place you want to take your Sprinter Van. Trust me. Even if MERCEDES wasn't booked I'd take my Van to Zeke's. Zeke was able to diagnose the issue with my oil leak within minutes and have me back on the road. He has the knowledge and skill to give you the service and care your Eur� Van needs. He saved my anniversary trip and was glad to help even though he was busy with another vehicle at the time. 5 plus stars. If you want it done right and believe in supporting mechanics who run their own shop and take a risk to go out on their own to do great things. Zeke is passionate and skilled, more so than the lemmings at the dealership. Zeke will do an amazing job with your van. Thanks Zeke My wife says thanks for getting us back on the road. I came to Zeke to do a timing belt replacement and general service on my 2011 TDI Jetta. Not many mechanics know VW s and even less know the TDI s. Not only was Zeke knowledge, respectful, and fast, he was able to meet me on a price I could swallow, compared to other unbelievable quotes around town. I was ready to be without a vehicle for well over a week and he called me back within a few days! If you need a highly skilled VW/Euro mechanic that is timely, affordable (comparatively of course), and respectful of his clients (not many are!), Zeke is the guy you re looking for! Seriously though, it s rare you find all that in one shop! I ll certainly be taking my VW here from now one.

Look no further if you own an Audi, Volkswagen, or Sprinter! Zeke is the most honest, reliable, ethical and hard working mechanic I've ever dealt with. Another local European repair shop quoted me much higher for the work needed, never going back to them! Very happy to finally find someone to honestly maintain my Audi q5. Had an emergency going through the mountains where our van lost acceleration. We were beyond lucky to be recommended to Zeke s. He saw us right away and once he popped the hood, he knew exactly what was wrong with it. Not many places work on Sprinter vans so we are very thankful we listened to the recommendation. I selfishly don t want to share how great of an experience I had at Zeke s because I want to count on his amazing service and turn-around time whenever I need it from now on. Ha! I had a Sprinter issue that was causing my van to go into limp mode. Zeke went above and beyond to get me home safely as quickly as he possible, which, given that he had to order parts, was very quickly. He was kind and funny and straightforward with me and answered all of the questions that I had. I feel very lucky to have found Zeke and his shop. We were having an issue with our 2015 Winnebago View - there was a loud metallic vibration noise under the driver's compartment when we went up hills and we didn't know what was causing it. We'd taken it to a certified MB Sprinter repair shop a long distance from our home, where they said they found the problem and addressed it. They hadn't... After talking to Zeke, he asked us to bring it by and look at it...without an appointment necessary. When we brought it in several weeks ago, Zeke was super busy and I was worried we'd have to come back. But he politely agreed to look under our vehicle and in less than 15 minutes had found the problem and actually fixed it. Wow! He charged us a nominal fee and the problem was solved. Really appreciate Zeke and will be happy to bring our unit back when a repair comes up again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Talked with Zeke several times. HE directed me to the MB dealer for my emission issue. He could have very easily taken my $1800.00 and repaired my Sprinter and I would have been on my way happy but 1800.00 poorer. He was honest in telling me that my vin # was eligible for the work to be done as a warranty repair. I appreciate him and respect him for what he did for us. Zeke did a great job of diagnosing and repairing an oil pump blockage on my 2004 Beetle, even after I told him I thought something else had happened to cause the appearance of the oil light. He went over his repair process and even had the pieces of the problem blockage for proof of his work. Zeke went out of his way to help me diagnose what turned out to be a squeaky bearing on the driveshaft of my Sprinter. He was incredibly welcoming and transparent. Zeke is an awesome guy and does great work. I got my GTI back quickly and it runs like a top now. He got me good quality parts at a fair price and was incredibly thorough with the service on my car. Very happy and will gladly recommend Zeke's to anyone with a euro car.

This is the place if you want someone who knows VWs. Experienced. Quick work and reasonable prices. While several other VW places could not fix my 2003 Jetta or refer me, Zeke knew what to do and how to get it done. Zeke is the mechanic you're looking for. I have a sprinter and was having a hard time finding someone in Asheville who would touch it, and I was referred to Zeke's Autowerks by another mechanic I trust. Zeke is everything you want in a mechanic- communicative, knows his stuff, trustworthy, and affordable. While he was changing the glow plugs on my van, one of them broke as it was coming out. He said this is extremely rare but it can happen. In order to resolve it he had to take the entire engine out my van. He did this (and I believe he might have stayed up most of the night to do it) and didn't charge me a dime for it. That's some serious integrity. He was very communicative throughout, and when I came to pick up the van he showed me all the old parts and explained everything he had done, which I really appreciate. I'm really grateful to Zeke for what he did for my van, I'll definitely take it to him again and I highly recommend him. Thanks Zeke!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Zeke's Autowerks exceeds expectations. I recently took my rabbit to him for an engine overhaul and swap. The communication, feedback, scheduling and quality of work made the whole experience really enjoyable. Zeke communicated progress via pictures and whenever he came across other problem areas while addressing the primary issue, he would alert me of the issue while offering his input. I look forward to taking my car to him in the future knowing it will get the best care. Zeke is a vault of German automobile knowledge.

Zeke is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He could have charged $2000 - $3000 to correct a check engine message but when I read him the code he explained it was a recall issue and referred me to a shop where the work would be done for free. THE Sprinter mechanic of NC. Do not take your Sprinter anywhere else...you'll just end up here at Zeke's anyway if you want it done right. There are only a handful of good, professional Sprinter mechanics with impeccable standards, this place is one of them.Quick stop for me, he was helpful, solved my Sprinters problems quickly! Trustworthy!!!

We were traveling from NC to Kentucky in our Winnebago View, which is on a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. A problem with our ABS system put us into "limp mode" which prevented us from driving normally. Luckily, we pulled off into Hendersonville and were pointed towards Zeke's Autowerks by local mechanics who knew he was a Sprinter expert.We were limited on time, had our dog with us, and we were a long way from home, and thankfully Zeke was able to diagnose the problem, order the proper parts, and install the parts. We were back on the road in less than 24 hours after limping into his parking lot, and we were able to find an RV park 3 miles away while we waited for the part to come in.Zeke was friendly and professional, and taught us some specifics to our vehicle that well-meaning mechanics we spoke with prior to this did not know or care to share with us. I hired Zeke to put in an Espar D2 heater into my 2012 Mercedes Sprinter. Even though he had never done this installation before, which is often done by van outfitters, he learned the install and did an absolutely fantastic, prompt job with the install. I was very impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to share his wisdom. Sidebar, he is one of the only mechanics I've dealt with during covid who was wearing a mask the entire time we interacted. Give Zeke your business! He is the man!

You will see reviews like this again and again for Zeke's shop, he's honest, punctual and knows his stuff with German cars. I recently had a problem with one of my older Mercedes and took it to a well known general repair shop, 3 weeks and 1800 bucks later they still where not any closer to fixing it. Took it to Zeke's and within a week he had it fixed for a 3rd of that cost

Stopped at Zeke s on our cross-country trip to have the brakes on our 2004 Sprinter check. He kindly fit us into the schedule. He also discovered and fixed the fan clutch, which we didn t know had failed, thereby saving us from a potential catastrophic cooling system failure. Many thanks, Zeke!
