Ken did my first inspection for me today, and during a time they weren t even supposed to be open. I came back later to give him a tip for helping me out, guy is so nice he said I didn t have to. but with such great service and general niceness I wanted to. 10/10, one of the best in HVL. Thanks again guys

Had a great experience with this shop I thought it was the water pump it was a actual hose. They also inspected it for me. Everyone was really nice I'll take my car there again. I give them 5 stars. Thank you guys.

I had taken my car to 4 other shops before and no one was able to fix my mysterious suspension noise. The crew at K & S diagnosed and repaired it correctly on the first try. They are good local fair shop me and my first born use them. Thought I needed a brake job asked them to perform one I had a minor issue with my rear brake. They were honest fixed the problem way cheaper. When I test drive cars I call them first so the can check them out. Twice they have and twice I ended with good used cars. Their oil changes are way cheaper than the oil change places that rip you off. They have fixed my ac on my car to. Well this is a decent auto shop I will never go back to it again. While my truck was in there care something fell on my left side and damaged my rain guard as well as my driver side mirror. When I brought it up to Ken he refused to take any responsibility for it and got more irate as I tried to talk to him about it.I will not be going back to K&S ever again.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

I went through a string of dodgy mechanics that either lied, overcharged or caused actual damage to my car with their inexperience. I've been taking my car to K&S for years now, and I'm so thankful to have found "my" mechanic. They're kind, helpful, efficient, honest, etc. Highly recommend.

Love this repair shop! They are my go-to for any car problems or basic car maintenance! I would highly recommend them!! Best of all, they get your vehicle in and out very quickly. The longest I have ever had to leave my car with them was 3 or 4 days and that was to replace my entire power steering system.

I had an appointment for brake work at 3:00 today. The lady at the desk told me there was no record of my appointment, and the soonest she could get me in Would be Wednesday or Thursday. I went to Precision Auto Care, and two hours later, the work was done. The lady could care less about my situation.

Went for a simple inspection and ended up paying a higher price not knowing (or heads up) my car needed a test for back windows for the tint. I could have ripped it off prior to going if I knew it was needed or came back after I got it off. It was clear it would not have passed the legal limit and by no means did I want to pay extra to be told that! Not telling someone a service is needed and will cost more is bad business. No one likes to pay for unexpected service when not informed. Will not go back!

We had just arrived but they treated us like regulars! Old car was overheating before a long trip....they diagnosed it carefully then located an antique sensor and fixed it and charged so little! We've used them for repairs ever since. Local and honest and persistent in the diagnosis.

Saved my life. They took my truck in finished it before promised and worked with me on the price. Good people. I will give them all my work and recommend them to everyone! I was stranded here from out if town. Good workmanship and good prices!

Have had K&S work on several of my vehicles 4 yrs. 1st went when Ford dealer in HVL said I needed new motor for $5500. Turns out it needed a valve job for a little under $1500. They worked with my warranty co which wasn't easy. When I am in the area this is where i go. They're friendly, fair and timely.

Ken at K&S is the only person who I will let work on my Trans Am. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant to do business with. He put the engine in my TA and got everything exactly right the first time. Initially, I was hopeful that the original motor could be rebuilt, so he tore it down and discovered that it could not. Since I had him put in the new engine, he didn't charge for his labor tearing the old one down. He's a super guy. Ever since, he's my #1 go-to!

The plastic piece under my daughter's car, that keeps things from getting under it (as well as helps with air flow and gas milage, I was told) had come loose and was dragging the ground. She had tried to remove it herself but was unable to do it all. She was already late for work, but didn't think she could drive on the interstate with it being like that. I told her about K&S and that it was only about 2 miles from our house. I had never been there myself, but my bff's son (Justin Morrow) had worked there when he was in school and he had referred them to me if I needed a mechanic and couldn't get my car in to him. When she got there the wind caught her car door and slammed her thumb in the door, but she still managed to get inside and tell them what she needed. While she waited, she had her hand in a cup of cold water to try to relieve some of the pain. When he was done getting the piece off, Kenny also checked the rest of her car to make sure everything was ok and he said he didn't see any damage. He and his wife were both very friendly and helpful to my daughter, while she was trying to take care of things on her own but felt like crying after her thumb was injured. They didn't even charge her anything (& they did not know the connection between me and their former coworker, I didn't tell them until we were headed toward the car) for removing the piece or for checking underneath. What a great couple! Reminded me so much of the way things were when I was growing up and people were just out to help each other instead of taking advantage of them like so many other places do nowadays. Thanks for the wonderful experience for both me and my daughter! We will be back when we need a mechanic.

Small husband and wife owned auto repair shop. Everyone there is very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I couldn't be happier with their service. I have referred several people to them and all have been as happy as I have been.

Was out of town at doctors appointment when my car broke down. They were so very helpful! Car was repaired in no time! Everyone there was so nice and helpful. Turned, what could have been a bad day into a good one! Thank you so very much! Would recommend them to anyone!!!

We are here on vacation and I had trouble with my truck, went to Orielys and bought the part and couldn't fix it by myself, walked across the parking lot and ask them about fixing it, they worked on it for over 2 hours and my bill was very reasonable. I felt guilty and tipped the tech that did most of the work. Great place!!

When a potential customer asks a question, just answer it directly. Talking in circles makes it seem you are not honest.

Had to have front break pads replaced on vehicle from what I know. Make sure you know what has to be done to vehicle, as shop will not do this for free. Services were performed at fair price and timely manner.

K & S has always been my first call for regular automotive maintenance. Whether I need my oil changed, broken door handles replaced or just sensible advice on how to do something myself K & S has never left me hanging.
