Tim made the car buying process seamless, easy and quick. He made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. I definitely will be returning in the future! I love the shop dog Stryker probably my favorite thing about this place lol

I have been looking for a Fox Body Mustang for nearly 4 years and everyone I've looked at were either misrepresented or overpriced. I noticed one on Tims website and called to talk with him about it, he gave me a complete history of the car as he new it and the overall condition. Because I live 10 hours aways and did not have time to inspect the car in person I relied on Tim's evaluation and purchased the car sight unseen. After having the car delivered, inspecting and driving it I would say Tim's evaluation was spot on and I would not hesitate to purchase from him in the future.

Honesty and used car sales don t usually go together, but I can t say enough good things about Tim Newton and his company. From beginning to end Tim was upfront and helpful especially since I was located over 1000 miles away from his dealership. He picked me up from the airport in my vehicle which was just as beautiful as it was online and exactly as he described. I was there at the dealership for no more than 30 minutes and began my thousand mile journey home in my 22 year old vehicle. It was a two day trip and Tim checked on me the whole way home to make sure I made it. This is what s called good service and I m so glad I found this dealership on the internet! Thanks for everything Tim!

I was in the car business for 15 years and I can say by far Tim is the most honest independent dealer I have ever dealt with. He takes the time to make sure the vehicle is ready to go before selling it and he also takes the time to find you what you re looking for without any high pressure like many others do. I will be purchasing vehicles from here in the future, make sure you check him out, great guy! Thank you again!

Due to a pretty severe shoulder injury, I needed a used car with an automatic transmission. Look, I'll admit to being a dealer snob when it comes to purchasing a vehicle, but when the bank suggested Tim Newton's I decided to check it out. I spotted a used car I was interested in on his website, contacted Tim, and within a few days I owned it. Tim's great. He detailed the car by hand; it looks and smells fantastic. Tim went to great lengths to provide excellent customer service. Basically, I just showed up to test drive it and Tim handled everything else. He was very fair and pleasant to work with. His mechanic is wonderful, the car purrs and runs perfectly. The real star of the show was Stryker; best employee on the lot. It's the little things in life that matter most. At Tim Newton's all the little things are covered for you. I would definitely recommend Tim Newton's Car Sales to anyone who is looking to purchase a reliable vehicle without any hassles.

We found a corvette on auto trader that was on Tim s lot. He was a very pleasant an amazing person to deal with. When we arrived to pick it up the weather was very nasty an was calling for high winds an heavy rain. By luck the weather had let up by the time we arrived we drove 5 hours to purchase this car he was gonna offer us a place to stay so wouldn t have to drive back in the weather. But by far a very nice man an made the transaction purchase a breeze! Would highly recommend him at any given time. Thanks again we love the vette!!

I recently purchased a beautiful Dodge Durango with 19,000 miles from Tim. This experience is what I ve come to expect from Tim Newton Auto Sales, as we have purchased many vehicles from Tim over the past 20 years. I have bought a few cars in my life, but none of those experiences were as fun or as wholesome as my experience buying a car from Tim Newton. He is everything you would hope a car salesman would be - kind, authentic, hard working, knowledgeable, and devoted to making the process enjoyable. I can say that his good reputation is definitely deserved, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a good deal on a used car.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Tim at his auto sales lot. I am not one to do reviews, but I know they really do come in handy when you were doing research. My husband had purchased a pick up truck from him 10 years ago and it was such a great experience we knew we would use Tim again when the time came to purchase another vehicle. A month, after owning the vehicle, I had a minor problem with the sunroof when we had a heavy rain some leakage did occur. Since I had purchased the vehicle from Tim, I took it down to the auto dealer, to see what he could do. The vehicle was not under warranty and he could ve reminded me that it was as is, and not helped me at all. However, Tim cleaned out the drain lines from the sunroof and took care of the blockage in the drain line that was the problem. I guess I say all that to say this, he could ve taken advantage of me because this is the first time I purchased a car on my own ever. He helped me we joked about it, He went the extra mile. I cannot tell you how much that means to me. Honesty, integrity and character can be a very extinct behavior nowadays, I m glad to see this is not the case with Tim Newton Auto Sales. I will purchase a vehicle from him again. Thank you to Tim, striker, and the team.

This Dealership is absolutely the best dealership that I have been to the guy Tim was nice. I was looking to buy a 2014 Lexus Gx460. the car I found in his dealership was the cleanest and the best car I found the deal was good. We were finished with all the paperwork in 20 mins. So I would recommend this place strongly.

Great experience buying our car from Tim. He met us at his lot after operating hours to accommodate us and was professional and efficient with the paperwork. Very friendly, too! Great deal on our car and we got to meet his beautiful dog! Definitely recommend going to see Tim for your auto needs!

Let me start this review out by saying that I have never had a more pleasant vehicle buying experience.If you're like me, you hate buying vehicles.On this purchase there was no walking to the sales manager, coming back with bad news every time and trying to give me excuses on why earlier promises cannot be kept.I got a fair price and I'm very happy with the deal that I made. As a matter fact when we were on the test drive Tim brought up the fact that the brakes were making the car vibrate when stopping. Let me emphasize the fact that he is the one who brought the problem up to me! I feel like this man has a lot of integrity!When we got back to his lot I told him that I thought the price was good, but if he could get the brakes right then I would be happy to buy the truck!He took it to the shop And it turned out that it needed new brake pads and rotors all the way around.He paid $500 to get them all replaced!I did the financing through him. Got a great rate. And got a great deal on the extended warranty also. I could not be happier with this deal. I would definitely buy from him again!

I was an out of state buyer, and I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to fly out to pick up a car that I had never seen or driven, but I'm incredibly glad that I decided to do so.Tim was very accommodating and thoughtful, and he made the whole experience as easy and seamless as possible. We all know the used car salesman stereotype, but Tim is *not* that at all; he felt more like family or a friend than a salesman, and I never once felt like I was being lied to. He was open, honest, and trustworthy, and the car I purchased was in incredible shape, just as described.I immediately drove the car 20 hours back home. It survived the trip with no issues, and the car has held up and is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. I would happily make the same decision again, and it would be a welcomed coincidence if my next used car purchase somehow takes me back to Tim Newton in North Carolina.Thank you very very much, Tim!!

We have been buying vehicles from Tim for about thirty years now. We just let him know what we want and he finds it for us. He will even gently guide you away from mistakes in judgment, like when my midlife crisis self wanted a Dodge Avenger and Tim knew what I really needed was a Honda Accord. LOL. Our current purchase is a 2029 Chrysler Pacifica. She is loaded and lovely. We have been driving it for about a week now and I could not be more pleased. What can I say, when you find a great dealer- stick with him!

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Camaro with 8200 miles from Tim completely through an internet sale. I have to say the car was exactly as Tim described it. There were no surprises though out the sales process which is rare when purchasing a vehicle much less completing a internet transaction. All my questions were answered honestly and directly. Tim even calculated my state (Florida) sales and registration taxes to the exact penny! When I received the Camaro I couldn t believe the quality of the car, Tim knows cars and what buyers are looking for. Doesn t matter if you re only a few miles away or like me over 800 miles away, you can trust Tim Newton Auto Sales.

Our family has purchased several cars over the years from Tim Newton. He had only been in business for about a year back in 1994 when we got our first one from him. It was a good car and a good deal. That's how Tim rolls and he always has a variety of choices. A+ dealer who knows and researches his product..., and he's a local to boot. Been at this lot for 25 years..., so that's saying something.

Hardest working man in the car business! I have known Tim since 91-92 when I worked in auto parts. My wife and have bought 2 cars from him now. I give him a hard time, BUT he always goes over and beyond what is expected from a small town car salesman. Go see his dog Styker!

Found the car I had been looking for at Tim Newton. Only problem was 400 miles away. We did a FaceTime call to go over the car. I sent a deposit and bought a 1 way ticket to New Bern, NC. I was picked up at the airport and driven to dealership. Car was as represented. Did the paperwork and was on my way in 15 minutes. Don t be afraid to travel if you see what your looking for.

I have had the general assessment of the "average" auto salesperson that comes from 55 years of meeting these people that boils down to " If he/she is talking, it is BS and if he/she is thinking, they are behind enemy liines." That changed last week when I met Tim Newton. He is genuine, honest, not overbearing, not pushy, thoughtful, funny. Finally, a person I can trust when it comes to purchasing an auto. And yes, we did purchase one.
