Stranded with a bad tire, they were able to fit me in, and fix my tire all within 15 minutes. 22$ later I was out. The owner is a great guy and very knowledgeable, please give them your business!

Guy tried to say he couldn't fix car till next day we'd have to stay at hotel across the street. It looked expensive and out of budget. When we said just put tires back on we will take elsewhere tomorrow he could all of a sudden fix the small issue. Doesn't seem honest as all.

Had a nail in my tire on vacation without a plug. The guy working (owner probably?) Had it plugged in less than 20 minutes. Dropped what he was doing and had me in and out quick. Only $21 for the plug and I've got larger off road tires. Would go again.

Found a nail in our tire the day before we were supposed to leave (13 hour drive). Got us in right away and fixed in 30 minutes for a good price. Seemed very honest and straightforward.

Bill was wonderful. Driving down to the outer banks and then realizing you have a major brake issue leaves you with a sinking feeling.... Bill while direct (which some may find off putting but, shouldnt) is wonderful, honest, and thorough mechanic. If I'm ever back in the area I'd stop in just to have Bill give my car a once over.

Alternator broke down on the beach. Got a jump and then drove to this shop and they fixed it had it ready by the next day. Reasonable priced and I was surprised that my car was ready by the next day. This happen like 3 years ago and Ive had no problems with my car ever since. Been coming down to Hatteras every year and if my car had any problems I d know where to go!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I love the salt of the earth comment in the last review.So...I called the garage at 10:47am on a Friday for a simple inspection.The owner told me he was closing at noon and to bring it over at 11.I proceeded to tell him that I couldn't get there by 11 but would be a few minutes late.He said ok, bring it.I get there at 11:12...he closes at 12 and had no other vehicles getting worked on.He rudely told me that I was late and he couldn't help me.All I needed was a 5 minute inspection and he was open for 45 more minutes with no other vehicles there.Very very very rude in his explanation that I should have driven faster and not been a few minutes late, when I clearly told him at the beginning that I wouldn't be there until a few minutes after 11.Just rude....really in the way he felt like he could speak to me.

Had a problem with the 4WD engaging on my truck. Stopped in to see if they could find a problem. They put it up on the lift, drove it around but didn t find a problem. They wouldn t charge me anything for looking at it. The guy said he just thought it wasn t properly engaged.
