Scheduled the installation of tires purchased independently from Amazon. Amazon included an install option with Mr Tire at a quoted cost of $25 per tire. When I called for making an appointment the shop quote was $31 per tire. I chose to pay directly due to not knowing when I would be available for date of service.Scheduled the appointment and went to the store. The store was not clean and the staff was not welcoming. The service took longer than quoted. Asked why their quote was more than what was offered online and they said it is what it is. Then additional fees were added that was not in the quote.

On July 4th I went to have a passenger window motor replaced. The mechanic accidentally broke the window during the repairs. I understand accidents happen. I was told they MAY have a replacement the following Saturday (8th). I was given a piece of plastic to cover the window until than. Said piece of plastic came off 5 minutes after leaving.I received no call or update in that time. When I returned on Saturday no progress had been made. I was then told they would try to find a replacement window and maybe have some news Monday. I returned on Tuesday and again was told nothing yet. It had rained multiple days since the window was broken and I had to drive slower in my travels as a result. (anything over 40 the plastic sounded as if it would come off at any moment) Several times I had to add car tape I purchased from AutoZone to keep the rain out and maintain as good of a seal as I could.During this time I did several searches for windows myself and within 15 minutes had prices from E-Bay, Safelite, (which was a few minutes up the road on the same street) and Amazon. In a weeks time they were still LOOKING for a replacement window. I received a call (the 1st since the incident) Friday afternoon (10 days later) saying they had found a replacement window.Tuesday afternoon (yesterday) I went to have the window/window motor replaced. I had been very patient and understanding up to the point I was charged $400 for the part and labor. I was told I would not be charged for the window, which of course I should not have been. Ten days I was inconvenienced driving around with a thin piece of plastic on my window. Ten days before I was told a replacement window was found. A week and a half wait for a used replacement window that was cloudy and dirty! Nowhere near equal quality to the window that was broken. NO apology for the long term inconvenience, no thank you for being patient and understanding. Not even a discount on the labor that led to broken window in the 1st place. For a week and a half I drove around with my passenger door cover disassembled in the passenger seat next to me. The location I usually go to (on Memorial) has done excellent work in the past ,but this location and this visit... My whole week of vacation was essentially destroyed by the stress and driving restrictions through no fault of my own.

So about a week or two ago I bought my car into this shop, I was trying to get an inspection done but also I knew that my front converter needed to be replaced, I had addressed that with them. I dropped my car off and the guy calls me and says hey if you want to pass inspection you have to replace your two front tires along with the converter. He acknowledges that I was right that my front converter needed to be replaced. So I said ok no problem. I paid 2715.00 for parts and labor. They call me in to come and get my car they tell me they can t pass my inspection because I needed to drive 45-65 mph 1 time the first time. So I do that I bring it back in the next day just for them to tell me I still failed inspection. The guy comes back out and says you failed again drive 4 times doing 45-55 mph taking breaks in between so I do that but my engine light comes back on when I take it back in to them they don t even tell me my gasket was leaking they put the part on my car with out even coming to talk to me about it. What if I wouldn t have had the money is what I was thinking. When they did my car the first time and I went to pick it up they never mentioned anything to me about my gasket causing a leak they only said my converter was the problem which started to make me feel like they were tampering with my car. So I paid the extra 30 bucks for the part(gasket). Then he says I still can t pass you drive again l, now when I bought my car in my car had 171,300 and something miles on it. However messing with them constantly my car now has 171,868 miles on it. They wanted me to keep driving all the time, and everytime that I would drive I would come back with a engine light. I have been in out with them for two weeks so you can only imagine my frustration. So I was supposed to go back in yesterday but the weather was bad so I went to drive out agin today and that s when my engine light came back on. Something in my gut told me not to take my car back that way so I didn t . I was referred some where else when I got to this other place that knew exactly what was going on and fixed the problem. I finally passed my inspection with flying colors, no driving of any sort. I felt like they were getting over on me because when I asked them was I going to have to pay anything else he was like I can t promise you that. So when I left I was like I m not going back there, it s income tax season and they were trying to drain every dime that I had. They were not doing the work appropriately. I don t recommend

Got me In fine. But quoted me over 900 for a part not the work. Just the part. That same part is around 230 from the dealership and from several parts stores I checked.On top of that. I did the code at another location . And according to the code it s a sensor issue that needs to be replaced . This place was actively trying to rip me off

Needed a man oil change and had no time during the week. They were conveniently open on a Sunday afternoon. Loved that they could accommodate by busy schedule.

The service was great! Temias the manager of the location was very professional! I made an appointment the day before and my car was serviced in a timely manner. I recommend ladies to definitely take your car there and ask for Temias.

Made an online appointment for 1:30 today. When I got there, the guy seemed like he didn't even know about the appointment because he asked for all of the info I had already provided on their website.The car didn't even get pulled back for 45 minutes. The waiting room was hot and the vending machine was broken. There were only 2 other people in the waiting room and they took 2 hours to give me back my car...on an oil change and break check.... Then they tried charging $600 for front pads and rotors. Only $80 of that was labor. I went to an auto parts store and picked them up for $250 and will install them myself, considering that alternative.I will not be returning.

I got my tires rotated today. Tre and staff are very professional and it did not take long. Recommend going early in the morning. I also purchased my tires here in with the tire protection plan so my rotation was free. Waiting area clean and large TV.

i wish i could give it zero stars! I got my oil change, and then my hood started smoking, and when I went somewhere else to get it checked out, they told me that my oil cap was not on! Turns out the mechanics at Mr. tire never put my oil cap back on after I waited two hours for an oil change! Don t go!

They close shop down for lunch. Thought they would finish short job then take lunch break. Valve stems were not replaced. 2 valve stems had no caps. Had to go back in to get them.

Manager is horrible. Lied about the wait time originally, told me it was little to no wait. When we arrived told us to park the car & wait 45 minutes to an hour. It was just me, him & my sister outside. Never told us to go in. When 45 minutes passed I went inside to see what was going on.He lied & said he told us to go in. I informed him he did not. Then he said 5 people were around.That was not true... as I mentioned only me, him, & my sister. When I told him to roll the camera if they had cameras. He looked as if he seen a ghost. I do not recommend this place. Very unprofessional. I will be calling corporate.Many reviews are stating that they have bad communication & I experienced my own encounter! Believe all the bad reviews! This place is very unprofessional!

Here s an honest review (based on my experience):Pros: Awesome customer service, the staff was nice and if you drop it off they were really good at calling and informing me if anything came up. The price is similar to local places around. They have equipment other shops didn t to work on my car, had stopped by other shops who weren t able to align my car. They took good care in making sure keys are kept safe too!Cons: A big issue is time, they do give you an estimate for working on the car, but I think what they re forgetting to do is let customers know how soon they ll work on it and tell them an accurate time to come back. The alignment service I got was perfect, I was told one hour, I came back 5 hours later, which is okay with me! But it would be great to know a real time estimate in the future, or a automated text update!Google Review 4/5 stars:Customer Rep 5/5Service 5/5Time 2/5 (they did call and let me know about some things but this was a little while after I had dropped it off)

I Went to mr tire on 6-13-22 for a oil change, when I got home I parked my car in the garage.. the next morning I had oil everywhere. I then looked under the car and I saw that they put some type of paste on my drain plug. Instead of just replacing it or putting a washer on it, they put some cheap paste on it and oil went everywhere. If I didn t check under my car I would of had to replace my engine

Poor communication. Super slow. Unprofessional people sitting at the front desk.I took my car to be checked for a slow leak in driver s side rear tire. After about two hours waiting, I was told that they have identified the problem but it was the front passenger side tire, and there was no problem with the rear tire!! I had to show them physically where the exact problem was! There was a broken nail got lodged to the tire. If I had not intervene myself, I would have left the auto shop with the same problem after about 3 hours!Don t recommend the place.

Before I took my car to this store I called to see if they were able to fix the problem I was having with my car. They told me yes so I had the vehicle towed to the store over the weekend. I was told that a technician would be able to take a look at it on Monday. I called afterwards and a representative told me it needed a part replaced that needed to be placed on order. After five days they called me and told me they car was ready to be picked up and everything was good to go. I picked the vehicle up and didn't get very far because it began having the same problem that initially caused me to bring the car in. They told me someone would start working on it right away. After about 3 more days I received another call telling me the car was fixed now. I went in and tried to drive the car again and the problem still was not fixed. Two weeks have gone by and they still do not know what is wrong. The service I've received here is by far the worst I have ever received from any organization.

Always great service and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I m a GMC owner (purchased elsewhere) and I would never step foot into the GM dealer across the street again. I will gladly pay Mr. Tire rather than have Brown & Wood service my vehicle for free.

they couldn't find the giant hole in my tire after almost 45 minutes. Took the car to the next shop and it took 10 minutes to find and patch it. You have 1 job, service and friendliness were minimal at best too. Will never visit another Mr tire

Giving a 1 star because I can t give 0 stars !!! I literally waited 2 hours for a simple tire rotation/balance and break check!! There was one other guy in the lobby when I arrived and he left at the same time I did, but he d been waiting FOUR hours because they lost the oil kit for his vehicle!!! I am beyond disappointed!! I chose this place to get my tires dealt with because of the excellent reviews, but clearly something has either changed or people have not been truthful

Broke down nearby and had my truck brought here. They got me in right away. It ended up being a big job needing parts. I was very satisfied with the work and especially how they communicated and kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle. Will use them again and recommend.

I had the greatest experience at this shop! The manager Hardy is the best. My vehicle was shaking while I was driving. He was friendly and put me at ease immediately. They fixed the problem with my car within an hour. The manager thanked me for giving them the opportunity to work on my car. This was hands down the best experience I ve ever had at a shop. Thank you Hardy and team. I will be a loyal customer and refer my family and friends to you!.

1-14-23If I could leave zero stars I definitely would. I arrived at this Mr. Tire location at 910a with the intention of getting a state inspection done. When I walked in, there were only 2 people in front of me.I know that an inspection does not take very long; therefore I felt good about my decision of being there this early and getting out of there no later than 10am. After waiting for an 1.5hrs, I had noticed that 3 people that arrived after me had gotten their services rendered and left. So, I patiently waited for 30 more minutes, and I approached the counter and spoke to the guy there, I said I had been waiting for 2hrs now and I know that an inspection takes less than 5 minutes and asked him what the hold up was. He said, "uhh, uhh, we got busy". I kindly but firmly told him that I understand that but, I also have been here for 2hrs for a 5min service. He then, told me "well let me see if someone can get started on it" and would you believe it, a total of 7 minutes and I was ready to checkout.I've never been somewhere and received such poor customer service, considering I was there not long after they opened and there was only 2 people ahead of me? That's poor, poor service. I hope they can do better in the future, but they will no longer receive business from me or mine.Good luck Mr. Tire Greenville Blvd with you business in future, I hope the next customer that comes in for a 0.3 service you can get them in and out in a reasonable time, because as someone who works 10hr days M-F; the last thing I want to do on my Saturday off is sit for 2 hours watching someone play on their phone.

Super fast, efficient, and professional. I was visiting from New York and got a flat. We are at Walmart, buy they refused to squeeze us in. We were in and out at Mr. Tire within 30 minutes!

The guys at Mr Tire are extremely friendly and helpful. Justin was very welcoming when I first arrived. He acknowledged me as soon as I walked in even though he was helping another customer. Will took over the transaction and was just as personable and helpful. Will seemed to really appreciate my business. They were fast as well. It was my first time going there, but I will definitely return.
