The guys at Brown and Wood went above and beyond to help me purchase my new GMC Elevation. Jerome was communicating with me at all hours of the night to make sure I found the right truck I wanted. CT made everything smooth on paperwork day and even worked with me on my trade in when I screwed up. Also, Jake or Chase can t remember his name, but such a nice guy just willing to help the customer in whatever way possible. If I am still around here when it is time to purchase my next vehicle, I definitely will be coming back to brown and wood. From the sales manager all the way down, a great group of guys.

We purchased a used Toyota Tacoma from Brown and Wood today our sales person Duane was excellent to work with Having everything set up when we arrived.Picking up the vehicle, we worked with Calvin Freeman what the perfect gentleman I can t say enough of how nice and pleasant the experience was working with these two gentlemen.Over my years, I have purchased many of vehicles and this has been the most pleasant and easiest dealership to ever work with hats off to their whole team.

My family has been working with Brown & Wood for as long as they have lived in Greenville (over 30 years). I have bought two cars from them. My family, in total, has purchased 18 cars from them!I cannot say enough good things about their warmth and friendliness, or their knowledge of vehicles and willingness to help, even when we have moved out of the area or the question was something random.In particular, Jerome Edmond in sales has been invaluable in his help with purchasing my latest vehicle and has been available for ongoing questions in the two years since we bought it. We love the Yukon XL we purchased: it is far and away my favorite vehicle ever. Jerome and the folks in finance helped us find a great rate to purchase it, and the trade-in and purchase process were painless and quick.If I can help it, I don't think I'll ever buy a car anywhere else. They're the best.

Purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 from Brown and Wood. Great experience from start to finish. The salesman, Jerome, was great to deal with, friendly, and straight forward. I drove over 3 hrs to purchase my truck because they were by far the best dealer I had worked with.

Jerome was wonderful! He provided accurate information and upfront pricing. Then I didn t feel well the day I was suppose to go sign paperwork (i live an hour away). Jerome arranged for me to sign everything at home and delivered my car. It was an overall great experience!

My experience with the Brown & Wood staff were immaculate the bathroom area the seating area were very clean I when I asked who does the cleaning I was introduced to Mrs. Princess I commended her on doing such a great job especially with the bathrooms. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr Anthony Goins who came to let me know the time remaining on my truck. I am well pleased with the services and the staff!!!!

The service department is straight trash!! The service department manager TONYHAND is HORRIBLE AND BIASED TOWARDS CUSTOMERS. I have never met such an arrogant, ignorant manger in my life. He doesn't know how to talk to customers and the price of your service keeps changing. I would rather take my vehicles to New Bern or Rocky Mount and be treated like a valued customer before I come back here.

Absolutely the worst service department that I have taken my truck to. My service engine light came on with less than 25k miles on my new 2022 AT4 Sierra truck. They kept my truck all day with zero updates to me on progress. They were going to keep it overnight without a call to let me know, or without offering a vehicle for me to drive. When I called 30 minutes prior to closing, they told me they had to keep overnight and there was no vehicle they could give me to drive. When I came to pick up my truck, I was told nothing could be done about the service engine light. They told me, in writing mind you, that no parts or repairs could be made, and that my truck was performing comparable to similar vehicles. When I took my truck to another dealership, they ordered the parts needed to fix it. I know that Brown and Wood in Greenville, NC will never be held accountable for these actions, but I will never step foot in their dealership again. For any reason. Service advisor name was Tim Colmore. Only reason that they get one star from me is that I could not go any lower. Am I supposed to believe that they would sell a truck with the service engine light on and tell the buyer it was fine?

I took my car in a few months ago to have my oil changed and told the crew not to wash my car and left a sign on my mirror saying not to wash my car as I have a speciality ceramic coating on it. My car was then washed and therefore damaged leaving visible scratches in my ceramic coating. When I spoke with the department in regards to the damage, I was originally told they would take care of the repair since they remembered the signage and to send them an invoice. This email and verbal conversation occurred in September. Despite multiple email conversations and calls, the service manager refuses to contact me or speak with me in regards to what I was told wouldBe corrected. Now being in November, they still refuse to speak with me. What I thought was a business looking to help a customer and repair damage they caused has turned out to be a nightmare. I cannot recommend them to anyone as they do not take care of their customers or are willing to follow up with anyone. I can say I won t be working with them again. Do your research.

We have purchased three new GMC vehicles from Jerome Edmund at Brown and Wood over the past 10 years. Jerome won me over after contacting me two years from the time I first drove on to his lot looking to purchase a new car and wanted to compare my Lincoln to a Buick. At the time, the Lincoln fit my needs but Jerome remembered EXACTLY what I was looking for and kept my contact info. He promised he would contact me as soon as the GMC models had what features I was looking for in a big vehicle. He DID exactly just that two years later! Over the years he has reached out to us to check in and even wish us happy birthday each year. He usually steps out of the showroom when he sees that his clients have their vehicle in the service department for an appointment to say hi and make sure everything is fine. The service department at Brown and Wood deserves an honest 5 star rating. That is something VERY important to me and why ultimately I traded in my Lincoln because I loved that car but the Lincoln service department honestly lost my business. Cars are expensive these days and routine service is a big part of any vehicle s performance, thus important in factoring into a car purchase.We now live across the State in Western NC but STILL take our vehicles to Brown and Wood when we can! That should say it all!! Reach out to Jerome Edmund and Brown and Wood they won t forget about you ever!!

My wife and I purchased a 2024 Buick Encore GX from Jerome for our family. I have brought many cars from dealerships in my life and must say. This guy is great!!!! Jerome dedicated great time with us to build value into his product. Compared to other similar SUVs offered by other makes. We were thinking about. Explaining why the Encore is a overall better option. He was very thorough when going over the full breakdown of the price. (Very Very important). Jerome and CT (Manager) were very respectful, and easy to negotiate with to get the best price. We didn't pick the Encore because it was the cheapest option. Because there were similar brands that were $1,000 to $1,500 cheaper. We picked it because unlike the Chevy, Nissan, and Hyundai Dealerships. Jerome and CT proved to us they were trustable, worked with us to get a deal that works for all parties, proved to us why their product was best and most of all for the first time ever. They made process of buying a new car fun, and enjoyable. After the experience Jerome and his team at Brown & Wood provided. We don't think we will ever be able to buy a new car anywhere else. #Brown&Wood4Life

Bought a car back in February. Did not have the wheel lock key so I called to see if they could extract them off so I could finally rotate my tires. They said they could do nothing so I handled of myself. Also found that my transmission plug was loose the whole time I had been driving the car for 8 months leaking transmission fluid. They refuse to do anything about it and am personally forced to fix the problems they did not catch before selling a car. Do not buy from them as they don't care about you. If somethings wrong they don't care. They just want your money. I'm a mechanic myself so.. yea

We have been dealing with brown and woods for the 28 years. We owned a several businesses over the years and they supplied us and our employees with vehicles and service. I have always had a personal salesman named Jerome Edmonds who has gone above and beyond to provide us top notch care. I would highly recommend if you are looking a vehicle to give Jerome call at brown and woods.

Jerome Edmond is awesome, he has helped me several times here for several different things. He is very personable, easy to get along with and doesn't push you to just buy a vehicle; he actually wants to gain relationships from this job.There are a few other people on the team that have been nothing but helpful and guiding while I have been in there also but Jerome was the main help!

The service is of great quality. Check in is always fast and easy. They do a thorough job of explaining problems, needs, and care packages. Sometimes the wait can be long, but they do have a welcoming waiting area. Thanks Anthony Goins for providing water and snacks.

Buyer beware!!! Bottom line = DO YOUR RESEARCH and due diligence. I am a very informed buyer and currently own a 2020 GMC. I have purchased numerous new and used vehicles over the years. I do not claim to know everything about the vehicle buying/selling process but I know significantly more than most. I am a local business owner and was considering doing business with this dealership. Well, they wanted to make over $16,000 on one deal! This is ludicrous and the closer talked to me like I was stupid. Well, I m not. I m very well informed and know more than most about the dealership business, which dealers HATE! I gave them an opportunity to earn my business but they had zero interest in negotiating any deal. If they do all deals like they attempted to mine, they are seemingly ripping people off on both ends of a deal, which I will never allow to happen to my family. Never buy a vehicle without doing research. If you do your research you will end up somewhere other than Brown & Wood because, based on the deal they offered me, they are all about making HUGE, UNREASONABLE profits. Best of luck to anyone who decides to do business here. I was having my GMC serviced here but will never be back for any reason.

I just purchased a 2019 Chevy Suburban from Brown and Wood. Most people only get on to leave a review when they have a bad experience, but sometimes you leave a review because you were so well taken care of as a customer that to not leave one would be criminal - that is the case for me.I called and first spoke to Dion about a trade in - I told him the price I had been offered by other dealers in Jacksonville and Dion was able to give me an accurate estimate on the phone that was $1000 dollars higher than other offers I had received. When we made the hour drive out to the dealer the next day, true to their word they offered me the price we had discussed. Everyone in the office greeted my family and I and were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dion was a wealth of knowledge on the vehicle and genuinely wanted to see my family purchase a car that would last through the years.The manager followed up with me after we left and thanked us for our business and wished us many years of safe driving in the vehicle. This kind of customer service and care is hard to come by these days. Please take your business to Brown and Wood, their work and customer service speaks for itself. It's true they are nice, but I need quality! Yes! They will get you in but the wait time is ridiculous! Even for simple things! I do love how they treat you but I am starting to wonder how the service center people are really being treated cause they work ethic really shows! Rumor is they change a lot of service people their! But now I'm back because certain bolts and screws were not tightened! My light casing wasn't out on and now water is in it and light fixer is out again!!! The sealant wasn't even put back correctly now I have to take time off of work to go back to what I already paid to be fixed right! I read the reviews already before I even attempted to go to this dealership I just thought I would be in a different predicament for something so easy compared to what other people is getting. I'm a single mom and I don't have money to waste I barely can pay for their expensive work! I like how they treat me but I want the work to match they customer service towards being friendly. I'm going to give them one more chance to redeem themselves.

Short version: Not impressed with service and I will not buy another car from them. Overall I feel like they are very deceitful! The used vehicle had issues and was still out on the sales lot. More issues after purchase, their service record for oil change doesn t match up, and no call back from anyone after they investigated issues and complaints .Long version: When first looking at the car on the lot my husband told the salesman Frank, that it looked like the motor mount was broken. Frank replied that there s no way it would have passed inspection or be on the lot with a broken motor mount. I had a mechanic take a look at the car before I purchased it because I also noticed something wasn t right with the brakes. Mechanic confirmed that it did in fact have a broken motor mount and needed new brakes and rotors. Brown and wood was only willing to fix the issues if I agreed to take their loan after I had already made it clear that I didn t want to finance through them. The vehicle was exactly what I needed and I felt like the issues were minor so I agreed to purchase the vehicle at said amount, finance with my company, and fix the issues myself. A day or so later I noticed that the AC didn t blow cold and that the vehicle already needed an oil change. Called the service department, the man I spoke with was rude and the service records were not correct. He said the oil was changed on the day I purchased the car which was NOT true because the vehicle never left the parking spot. I drove the vehicle there had the keys the whole time. The salesman even said that they forgot to detail it while I was working on paperwork. When I called to see about getting the AC fixed spoke to a nice man who said he would investigate issues and get back to me. Never heard from him again. Very disappointed with service all the way around. Not the way to run a reputable dealership.

I ve been a customer with Brown & Wood since my 2015 GMC Sierra was purchased from there. Needless to say I will not be taking my vehicle back after the past 2 experiences. First off I had a completely flat tire driving back into Greenville from Raleigh. Called to schedule a 4:30 appointment to have the flat tire checked to see if repair was a option. After getting the spare on the truck I had my girlfriend call to let them know we would be 15 minutes late because of traffic. The girl on the phone said that was fine so we didn t think twice. Upon arrival the gentleman in the service department acted very standoffish about the 15 minutes late and they close at 5:30. Then proceeded to tell me there s no way he can have them take the tire off the rim to investigate patching or buying a new tire. I understand it was the day before Thanksgiving however the front desk receptionist should have clearly stated we wouldn t have enough time so I could make other arrangements. Needless to say I went across the street to Discount tire and the mechanic greeted me outside before I could even walk in. Talk about customer service! Needless to say he had the tire and rim separated all within 20 minutes. Lastly I took my truck in for a oil change and had a 8am appointment. Dropped it off right on time and headed back to work. Got to 4:45pm and I still hadn t heard anything. Called and they said we re finishing up will be done shortly . Once I arrived the truck was still on the lift and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Moral of the story if they don t value your time don t value theirs.
