Went to Meinekee for an alignment and they didn t get it correct. Bought brand new tires and went back to Meinekee to allow them to correct the alignment. After readjusting everything, the center of my steering wheel was turned vertically instead of horizontally. I was referred to Briley s by my fire chief. I called them this morning and they told me to bring it in. They got everything straightened out for me.

I went in for an alignment, and although I didn't get it done, they were very friendly. Employee went out of his way and went outside to my car to give me advice.

Absolutely Outstanding. I had a very unusual balancing request and Adam and the guys understood my needs and did an outstanding job. I had a pair of wheels and tires on a custom one-off car that they didnt hesitate to see what they could do. They performed a flawless Roadforce balance that did the trick. No more shake or vibration. Trust me....if they can do their magic on this car...they can on yours. Thanks so much for doing such a great job. I'll be a customer for life.

Took my BMW 335i here to replace a set of run flats with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus Tires. Staff was unprofessional and antisocial. Although the service was fast, the tech scratched-up my 18' rims really bad; nor did he clean the tires and rims after installing the new tires. Spoke with Ed and he instructed me to drop by later to look at the rims. After stopping by, I quickly came to the conclusion that I would have to pay to have my rims repaired. See photos below

Called in the morning and priced some tires. Called back and they worked me right in. 4 new tires and an oil change took them less than 1 1/2 hours. Very friendly people, great service, fair prices, what more could you ask for.

My mother is visiting from out of town and got a flat tire. She called around to at least 10 places and no one had her tire or couldn't do it today, or wanted $100 more than here. We had to wait about 30 mins, but they were super quick and thorough.

Over 20 years, I have received only quality service with very professional and polite customer service. If you have a problem or issue, they will repair it, expertly. The associate was very, very happy. I'm saddened because I could not get my car repaired at Briley's. Their prices are reasonable; I just did not have enough money to cover the cost. I had my vehicle repaired there several years ago; no more problems with that part of my car. Briley's does excellent repairs!

They provide exceptional service overall in my opinion. I was greeted promptly at each visit and was well informed on just about everything. The labor charge was what caught me by surprise. Not ridiculous but a bit high. Still, I feel I've received professional service and would recommend Briley's Tire & Auto for the quality service they provide.

I really have to give them their props . I have been using their services for years. This week, I was in a desperate situation. My water pump went out as I was heading to work and thankfully I made it to them. I knew I was a walk-in and was told they would try to get to me. They not only replaced my water pump but was done by lunch and I was able to go to work the second half of the day. I really appreciated their service and will be returning, as usual.They are expensive though and sometimes I wonder if it's necessary or if they have done something in addition bc my vehicle runs worse sometimes after they finish and make future recommendations on what needs to be done. However, I did appreciate what they did for me this time.

Would not suggest going here if you re looking for standard prices on maintenance. I went with specific things I wanted to get done, but they then suggested extra things that weren t necessary, such as looking at my brakes which they then determined were perfectly fine. I had an extra $42 fee for them to test drive and look at my brakes when I didn t ask them to do that to begin with, they suggested to do it and weren t clear that they would charge extra for this. They did this for other charges as well. They said I needed a tire rotation when I explained I had just done one a couple months before and hadn't even driven much, but they still insisted I needed one. The time for all of this also took twice as long as what they initially told me would take. Overall, the work on my vehicle seems good, but the prices are higher than what I ve paid at other shops and I've also never been pressured before to do extra things to my vehicle that I didn't ask for. I won t be returning here. They should be clear with what they're charging for and how much, there was no communication on this until the end.

I did not have a good experience here. I took my truck in to have breaks done and was quoted over $1000. They told me they couldn't just fix the brakes and showed me on the computer a long list of things they had to fix. I ask them did I HAVE to get all those things fixed, and what would be the cheapest price to not have all of those things done and I was told around $900. They were not friendly to me either. I refused service, and as I was walking out one of the worker's who over heard everything, but was not apart of the conversation, gave me their business card and told me to call them. I believe they knew I was being overcharged. It's a shame these places take advantage of people all in the name of money. I will never recommend anyone to this place. It made me not trust even more. Please don't read this review and leave me a generic message about how you're sorry for my experience, and to call you. I've said my piece.

Took my car to get an ignition coil fixed and in the process they damaged my torque damper and broke an engine mount which caused my engine to move back and forth while I was driving. This wasn t a problem before I brought my vehicle to the shop. I assume since I m African American they felt they could do whatever in the process of fixing my car. Poor service, poor professionalism, just a poor experience altogether. Will never go back and I hope everyone who reads this comment weighs other options.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I'd been taking my car to the DEALER for service since it's purchase. EVERY single time, the dealer service department found a "problem" that required a minimum of a $1000.00+ fix. 5 years ago, it developed what felt like a misfire but the DEALERSHIP could never find the problem and it continued to worsen.A friend advised me to take my car to Briley's because it was the only place in Pitt county he trusted.I took my car there ONE TIME and had it returned to me the following day running like new thanks to MIKE. Diagnosis: coil on plug misfires on cylinders 3 & 6.Guess who will be getting all of my auto repair/service/inspection business in the future!!!Thanks Briley's for your honesty, integrity and talent!

I couldn t recommend Briley s enough. The guys were beyond friendly and courteous. They were honest with what needed to be done with my car and completed it quickly and without any hassle. For the first time in years my car is running like it s brand new and I couldn t be happier!

We moved here from Florida a year ago and a relative suggested Brileys for tires. My husband and I have gone there for service three times. They have always been courteous, helpful and honest. They also do good work and have great prices. We will be sticking with them.

I love Briley's tire. I just recently took my car in for a couple of issues. And they completely went above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed and I was satisfied with the work. I highly recommend using them for you automotive needs. I will continue to take my car here.

Highly recommend Briley's for car repairs/maintenanceCheck with them first for a diagnosis and estimate !Very skilled, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable team.They have taken great care of my 2003.4 sets of Brakes pad and rotors replaced.My rear brake pistons were bad as well.Quoted best price and was done in timely manner.Recently, needed my original radiator replaced.Again... best price and I asked to keep the original radiator to hang it up in my garage. They drained it, tied of ends and garbage bagged it for me.Left it in shop until I picked up car, just in case it would leak if put into trunk.My clutch didn't feel right... within 3 mins mechanic diagnosed and put brake fluid into master cyclinder.Recommended me to get a quote for clutch master and slave cylinder BUT since he didn't see any leaks."Just drive and the clutch pressure should return"Ymmv, they didn't charge me and my clutch is normal.These are my multiple experiences with Briley's,these 3 didn't happen all at once. LOLLastly, make an appointment and get on their schedule.It's no surprise they are always busy !!

Went in to get a cam shaft position sensor replaced and they told me that it was a pretty complicated job. They charged me almost 100 dollars just to diagnoose it, which I was later told was an unbelievably high amount, especially because autozone will do it for free. They told me it took over an hour to do, and I later found out that it is at most a ten minute job. The total bill ended up being 230 dollars for a job that I just recently did myself on a different car for only 30 dollars, and in under 15 minutes (and I had never done it before).The Briley's staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. I became somewhat suspicious that they didn't actually replace anything because of the way they were acting, so I asked for the part that they took out of my car for proof. The guy got extremely upset with me and reluctantly went and found the part. I wouldn't recommend anybody EVER go here, especially since it seems like I am not the only one who experienced this kind of service. Briley's is overpriced, unfriendly, and very dishonest. With so many good garages out there, there is no reason to chance being ripped off.

Great professional service that will work with you, meaning I had a 2003 Mazda P5 that had rust and cause the parts are hard to find new parts cost more, well... I would go get used parts and they would put them on and not charge me extra time to wait on me and will call you if they find something else. They won't do anything without asking you first.I used to not let anyone work on my cars and do it myself and now I don't have the time. They will do all of my work from now on.

These guys helped us with a warranty claim for Michelin tires. The tires - although maintained and rotated - had worn out in less than 40,000 miles. I contacted Michelin and they suggested I go to a local dealer. I chose Briley's and was very pleased with the outcome. They worked with Michelin to file the claim, ordered new tires, and installed them in short order. Good Job Guys - Your customer service rocks!P.S. I never intend to return to Mr. Tire on Greenville Blvd., where I got the original tires. They are overpriced and have pathetic service.

Brileys is a little on the high side.The work is always done professionally and in a timely manner. The staff is very respectful and couteous. They give you a call like you are one of their close relatives. At the end of the day if the works done right and you don't feel like they personally disrespected you consider it a win. I don't mind paying more to a local and trustworthy business. So head on down to Brileys Tire and support local business!

About 6 months ago I got a new set of tires and needed an alignment done. I called all around looking for a reputable business with the best price. Briley s told me it would cost $70. So I made an appointment and took my GMC Sierra in. 2 hours goes by and I am asked to come look at something on the computer. The technician said it would cost an extra $30 to do my truck because certain things needed to be adjusted that is not included with a regular alignment, even tho I called and told them my year make model they still pulled this slick move on me. Frustrated, I just agreed. Another hour goes by and I finally got my truck. First thing I notice on the way home is the truck doesn t track straight. It was leaning at high speed from 45-70+mph. I brought the truck back in the next day and rode with a technician. He noticed the truck leaned slightly but said all he could do is put it back on the machine and check to see if it got out of alignment. He did that and of course it checked out. So he told me to drive it awhile and see how the tread does. So a month later I notice one of my truck tires is balding on the outside rim faster then the other side. I took it in and was told the same thing. All they can do is put it on the machine and check it and of course it came back perfect. Well its been about 6 months now and nothing has changed. My tires are wearing unevenly. My truck does not track straight. Also I called Pughs and asked about the extra charge and they told me there is no such thing. I confirmed this with Mr Tire and all the Pughs in town. I gotta call it like I see it, this place is a scam. Please do not fall for their trick like I did. They give you a great price over the phone and pull slick moves to make you pay more. BEWARE!!!

I would NOT recommend this auto shop to anyone. Six hours after I dropped my car off I called to ask why I hadn't received a quote to authorize the repair. Turns out they hadn't even written down the information about what was wrong with my vehicle(which was 100% of what was actually wrong with it) When I asked the manager why they couldn't even call me to ask he just said 'Yeah'. I am now sitting here after my 9 hour shift still waiting and I dropped my car off before work began. The job itself was only one and a half hours out of the ten hours process. If it wasn't for the fact that this was the closest auto shop when my radiator blew I would never have given this shop that doesn't care about the people paying it's bills.
