Had a screw in my tire and they patched it. As soon as I got home I hear the tire still leaking air. Next day woke up to TWO flat tires. Got it back to Hall and they patched both (one for the second time). Few days later flat tires again(car never left the garage since Hall worked on it). The same tires they patched . The work wasn t done correctly. I don t think they know what they re doing. Waste of time and money

On April 17, 2021 my mother went to Hall Tire and Battery Co. to get new tires and she brought brand-new sensors to be installed. She spoke to Josh that briefed her for a new set of tires (she has one size for the front and another size for the back.) for the front it was $222, the back was $250, and for the sensor to be installed it would be free. The total would have been $472 + taxes. Once she arrived for service and it was completed the total was changed to $1,050. She was shocked because this was not the total discussed. Associate Von informed her, that price was never told to her, the new price stands, the company would never sell for that reduced of a price. Von asked if she wanted to continue the service and my mother wasn't expecting to offer this increased price. She wanted the old tires to be put back on. She was willing to at least pay for the sensor installment since they were already stationed which was $64.05. Once she obtained her car back, she noticed the tires didn't look like her original tires. She asked where were the original tires that she came with, they continued to reputedly lie and say these were hers.Once she left, she went to work. She came out to her tires almost being deflated. She rode to the gas station to obtain more air in the tires. She went to a store to come back out to notice that they were almost flat again. She forcibly stopped at a tire place to check and merely perceive what was wrong with these tires. They told her one of the tires was completely bad, and she shouldn t be driving on it. Let's remember that the original tires she had on the car before were absolutely fine; these were the false tires that Hall Tire and Battery Co. put on. Now she has to pay $50 for a used tire. I m indeed delighted she didn't enter the highway because something could have happened to her and Hall Tire and Battery Co. would have been responsible. Once she woke up the next morning, the vehicle had two flat tires. Then scarcely noticed that one of the false tires from Hall Tire and Battery Co. had a date of 12/30/2019. I am a witness that the original tires obtained before had no writing on them at all. She called Hall Tire and Battery Co. and asked if she could receive a refund because even her sensors had begun not to read correctly. In the present climate we retain two services that were not done right. The manager said he wasn't solely going to provide her money back just from her word. She had pictures and everything. The manager told her they would send someone out to see if she was telling the truth. My mother had already set an appointment with Baity s Tire to secure what Hall Tire and Battery messed up.Once Hall Tire and Battery Co. arrived, Associate Jimmy made new excuses for their mistakes and only put 40% of air in her tires. Meanwhile, Jimmy said that the brand-new sensors were not more likely preprogrammed. (You will hear this in the video.) He suggested this being the reason the tires were going flat. They however wanted her to bring the car back to Hall Tire and Battery Co. to now place valve stems inside the tires because the brand new sensors she brought were no longer good. He even asked her if she had tools to help him do his job. I told her not to go because I was afraid they were going to do more damage to her car.You will also see once she got to Baity s Tire they found 3 errors of what Hall Tire and Battery Co. did wrong. These are the following errors:1. TPMS sensor installed wrong.2. TPMS gasket on wrong.3. Air leaks around the stem.(Pictures of evidence provided below.You will also see where she purchased the sensors from and it shows that they are PRE-PROGRAMMED and they are for her model car.)I have posted the pictures and recording to forewarn you to not GO TO HALL TIRE AND BATTERY CO. If something would have happened to my mother, I wouldn t know what to do. They love portraying themselves as being the victim when they remain wrong. My mother deserves a refund. I will be reaching out to WFMY 2 News and WGHP FOX 8 News about Hall Tire and Battery Co.

They sold me two tires for my trailer on 11/14 they didn t check the axel or anything claim they did.. I paid the lil migo guy extra to put them on bc I was in a rush I know for a fact he didn t. Long story short my axle was bent b4 they put them on causing my tires to go bald fast.. & I went back 12/7 not even a month. They claim they couldn t help n seemed racist.

I thought I needed front brakes so I got an appointment to have the breakwork done among several other things only to be told my brakes were good and had considerable miles left. I thank you for that observation and the fact that the person checking them was honest and reported brakes were not necessary. I thank you both the employee and business for your honesty. I have always known this business to be honest and perform great work.

Ok place to go, almost impossible to get an alignment because they don t do appointments. I just got new tires put on today and one was leaking because they never cleaned the bead off before mounting the tires. Went flat in a couple of hours. The bubbles in pic linked is where the leak was coming from, there was a bunch of dirt in the bead they never cleaned out.(Edit): just going to clarify this was not my first experience, I have been going to hall tire for years before. Not anymore.

I blew a tire on my tractor in the afternoon trying to move some pallets of material that came in. I took it off and ran it down to Hall tire. The lady at the desk told me to bring into the bay and she would find some to help me. I did and I stood there maybe 20 seconds and a gentleman noticed me and asked what I needed. Chris took the tire immediately, got it off the rim, cleaned all the mud off, found a plug that didn t hold, re did it and then put the tire back on. He even checked for air leaks and had the tiniest of a leak. He took it back off, applied some kind of a sealant and did it all over. I thought he was going above and beyond and he said he just didn t want me to have trouble with it. I feel like it took a good bit of time (no issue with that) I m not even sure how they made money on it! I usually get my tires from a big chain, but not anymore. I want to support a local business and they have earned my loyalty for all my vehicles! I own a business as well and my fleet will now be taken here. Thank you Chris for your amazing customer service. Well done!

Best and only place to buy tires. Been buying tires from Hall since I was 16 years old following be hide my dad. Very honest people Phil and Josh are the best. I will never buy tires anywhere else. My dad taught us well. Also great to support local companies. Need tires I highly recommend them.

We have went to Hall s for years because of good friendly service. However, now their wait time has gotten to be unacceptable. Those of us waiting were told they were short staffed. I was there when instructed and waited 2 hours but my car had not been taken in yet. I left because I didn t know when they would get to me. I also found out I could not get nitrogen in my tires. Was told the nitrogen machine had been broken for months. They functioned better when they just did tires and batteries, before they started doing inspections and mechanic work. Maybe they are spreading themselves too thin.

Went to hall tire and battery for a simple $20 tire repair. Waited for hours to get the work done. I started noticing that people who have come in after me were leaving before me for the same service. They had a line so I waited patiently for the status of my truck. When they finally had a break at the front desk I asked about the status as I have been there all morning and everyone else is already gone who was after me. It turns out they put my truck in the "Done" bin and never notified me it was ready and just let me sit there waiting. You would think they would give you a discount or free repair for their mistake but apparently not. Poor Poor Service!

This shop stays busy because they do good work at a fair price. Locally owned, just of interstate I40/I85. They take walk ins for basic services but you should consider making an appointment for multiple or time consuming services. Good customer service.

Great guys up there, even though they are really busy during this time with the epidemic, they hustle and try their best to get you in and out. I advise to go in early when they open at 7:30am and get a ticket in. You either will wait for a little bit or next day service can be done if left there. Please don't get upset over how busy they are. They do great work and take pride in their work too. I was out within 3hrs and that's with a bit of people ahead of me. Have no complaints at all. I understand some places are more busy than others due to being closed. Just make sure you prepare yourself with time and patience with them. Satisfied customer.

Such a positive, smooth, and reassuring experience.Had a leak in my tire. Took it to Firestone. They patched it. Two weeks later I woke up to a flat tire. Took it back for a check and they told me they couldn t fix it and said I needed all four tires replaced. Now-if that were the case, why wasn t I told that prior to me coming back?Called Hall Tire and explained the situation. The guy I spoke with was extremely real. Straight to the point. Very educated. Beyond polite. He told me he could fix it and if not, he would have me a brand new tire the next day. He didn t ask my name or anything about me or my vehicle but when I got there, he knew exactly who I was which was extremely impressive. Although they were closing in less than an hour, they didn t turn me away. I stayed past closing but I m okay with that when I m receiving quality work.They took extremely good care of me. The customer service was on point. I definitely won t be going anywhere else ever again. Not to mention you can t beat their prices. Thank you guys so much for all of your help!!

I've been going to this garage every year for several years for a state inspection because it's the closest to my home. Every time I go it's a drag. The chairs are uncomfortable and the waiting room has always been dingy. Today I was turned away for not having an appointment... I've been driving for 25 years now and I have never been asked to make an appointment for a state inspection. I shrugged my shoulders and went to the next nearest inspection station on Alamance Church Rd and it took less than 10 minutes in and out and no appointment needed.Two stars because at the bare minimum the front desk attendants are polite enough.I see the owner replies on other poor reviews that staffing problems are to blame for a lot of the issues. That's a business problem. I didn't see any obvious HELP WANTED signs anywhere on the property during my short visit today. And I just looked on the garage's website there are no links for job postings. If you have perpetual problems with insufficient employment then you've got a managerial problem impacting your business. Offer attractive compensation and make some effort in getting the word out that you're hiring people for better pay than anywhere else. You're on Martin Luther King Jr Drive. You are in the poorest zipcode in Guilford County. There are thousands of able-bodied people in these neighborhoods willing to work and that need the work; what's the excuse for not being able to attract them?

I have to be honest! I ve been purchasing tires and having them serviced from Hall Tire my entire adult life and appreciate the work they have done for me and my family. As the Director of a local nonprofit I know I can trust our equipment to get taken care of at Hall Tire and happy they are able to help Tiny House Community Development take care of its auto needs. Service was friendly. They worked me in at lunchtime to repair a slow leak in tire. Took longer than expected, but they were very busy with lots of customers at the time. They got my tire patched and it has been fine since. Overall a very good experience.

First time at Hall's and I am very impressed. Very courteous, and polite. I got a very reasonable price on my tires and when i got home and checked tires they were at correct pressure and more importantly the lug nuts were all at the proper torque specs. I will be recommending Hall's to all my friends and family.

Fair prices, very professional also very busy so they don t really make appointments you call them get your order ready and some things you have to show up and pay ahead of time. Make a general day that you show up and it s first come first serve.. so make plans to drop off or wait and it will be a while , but they will give you a ride !! I m not sure if they will pick up up ?? But really good business!!!

I have been coming here the last couple of months. I don t live in Greensboro but I work here once a week. I came on a busy Tuesday and there was a miscommunication in my request of service. I called back and they were so polite and kind; they told me to return tomorrow and they would correct it. So on my day off I drove the hour drive back to the shop and was in immediately to get the issue corrected. Josh is amazing and super professional! Hall Tires definitely has a returning customer in me!!

Very helpful and prompt service. I cut my tire on I40 and pulled into their business. Despite that my tire was under Ford warranty and they were extremely busy they inspected the tire and put my donut on. With a very minimal service charge. My wife and I are very grateful. Excellent service!

I was recommended to this shop for skid steer tires. They replaced the tires but not in the time they said. I didn t worry too much about this. Got them home and noticed they had replaced a stem. The problem is they put in a stem that stuck way out and would certainly get smashed instantly. I talked to the owner who was only willing to offer an apology for me having to bring the wheel back. He offered me a discount on a future purchase but unfortunately I cannot risk coming back to a business who would send my tire out like this. I will not be returning. I hate having to give a poor review but this could have cost a lot of money if I had not caught it.Service: Tires

Honest family owned business. Have heard from multiple people that they have best, fairest prices around. They normally have rebates on sets of tires too. They are almost always busy, but that was expected hearing how people spoke of the service. There was a lady waiting in the lobby with me who said she had been coming here since she got her first car in 1970 something. I highly recommend this place and if you have a problem, they will fix it!
