WORST service I have ever received. I have been going to this shop since I was a teenager. I had my oil changed and when they put back on the shield under by car they forgot bolts or did not screw tight enough and the shield drug the ground and obviously had damage. My husband took my car back to have the issue resolved and they refused to replace a part they did not reapply correctly. Was very rude and threw $20 in cash at my husband and told him that is all he could to to help THEIR mistake! I will NEVER use this small business again!

Don t buy no tires from these people. I spent $700 plus on michelines tires that didn t last at all. Michelines was going to look out for me with getting new tires only if Bessemer tires inspected my tires and told them what was wrong. These people didn t want to do that for me. This is a place where I get all my tires from for all my vehicles. They lost a loyal customer today .

Tried to charge me Damn near 600 for a tube for the coolant system. Went to Greensboro auto works and was quoted 200. They definitely over price and if you re a woman forget it!

Went there to have the air in my tires cked because the light came on saying low air pressureAfter about 10 minutes the mechanic cked them, made sure they were all the correct pressure, cked to see if the light had gone out and sent me in my way with a smile

Had to replace two tires while in town working and they are very professional and honest. Highly recommend using bessemer tire if you need any of their services.

Initially I went to Bessemer Tire to purchase four tires. They were extremely reasonable in price and I was able to have them installed the same day I called. They were fast and friendly which was absolutely great. After I left I noticed all four of my tire rims had big chips in them that definitely were not there when I took my SUV there. It was too late to say something because it took me about a day to notice so I didn t feel like I could complain. A few months later I went back to have what I thought was a front end alignment from running into a huge pothole because again, they had the best price to repair. Turns out I damaged my right front strut which of course would need significantly more repair. I was quoted a price of over 600.00!! I looked up the part I needed and found it for under 100.00 and luckily had a friend that knew of a less expensive family owner business in Greensboro named Doss Auto Repair and the friendliest mechanic on earth named Donny. Anyways Donnie repaired my SUV with the part I purchased for the grand total including parts for 200.00!! Needless to say that is where I will continue to have my car serviced from now on. I highly recommend everyone to give him a visit and do business there. I definitely won t be returning to Bessemer Tire and in spite of what I believed was the best pricing feel like I was about to be taken advantage of. I advise you to not go with their quotes on vehicle repairs there and use due diligence on your own or as I recommend use Doss Auto and Repair in Greensboro N.C.

I have bought tires from this tire store for all four of my vehicles and my families vehicles for several years, The tire prices are just under the the competition s prices , and consistent customer service it s hard to beat, I have waited for hours on tires because you feel some loyalty, but unfortunately over the years I have encountered several screw ups (greasy hand prints all over my interior etc) which I overlooked until yesterday when the guy changing my tires over torqued a wheel stud an broke while removing the lugs, his excuse was that the guy before must have over tightened it, I told you guys rotated and balanced my tires last , his response oh , I asked him to fix it, After consulting with his mechanic they concluded that they would have to remove the the brakes to get to the rotor to replace the stud and would take a while, but that 5 studs would hold the tire fine , I have almost new rotors. Case in point , nice people until they screw something up, then they scramble to avoid accountability, I asked the mechanic what he was going to charge me to repair it when I brought it back, $150, no offer to make it right no discount nothing not even an apology ,

Incredibly trustworthy business and fair pricing. With rising costs on everything these days, I was amazed what they charged me to fix a tire issue I had today. I even asked if I needed new tires and they said it wasn't time to replace. I feel many places would of tried to push new tires and would of charged me triple what I paid today. It's refreshing to experience a business operating the way they do in today's society. Honest, loyal, and fair!! We need more businesses like this one!

I did not get any work done here, but my vehicle was broken down in one of their entrances to the shop. I called to let them know I was working on a way to come get my vehicle. She was pretty frank about my vehicle being in her driveway, but that was ok because when I got there, she was very helpful and polite. As were the mechanics in the shop. They did allow me to use a gas can at no charge. So maybe I'll have to check them out for some vehicle maintenance.

Avoid at all cost!Don't put your life in danger! Put my breaks and forgot to put bolt,that holds the breaks. "Big guy " very bad mechanic.i was customer for over 12 years,but this place go down the hill with speed of racing car. Very ,very sad .NEVER WILL BE BACK!

Bessemer Tire & Automotive does not stand by their work!! I bought tires from them last year. They scratched all 4 of my rims. Of course they claim that they didn't do it but the rims weren't scraped the day before. Over the course of the last year I've had to replace all 4 valve stems. Today I have a flat tire. The sidewall has small scratches on it. The tires are still under warranty and they won't help me out at all!!! The lady behind the desk got one of the mechanics to come look at the tire. He glanced at it and said they couldn't honor the warranty because half the tread is gone. He didn't use a tool to determine this. Just eyeballed it. I'm angry because I'm having to buy one new tire!!! I WILL NOT BE BUYING IT FROM THEM!!! I want to let y'all know to be careful doing business with them!!

We were having trouble with vibration in our car and went to another tire company to check the tires. They rotated our tires and spend the entire time trying to upsell us. After they rotated the tires, there was a loud noise when we were on the highway. I immediately took our vehichle to Bessemer Tire and Automotive. Not only did the correct the problem created by the other company, we got 4 tires for the price of 2 from the other company. Bessemer Tire and Automotive as a customer for life!Thanks for exceptional service, value, and timeliness!

My friend discovered at an area Auto Zone that she needed a crankshaft position sensor replaced, so the Auto Zone told us about Bessemer Tire. It was already early afternoon when we arrived there, and the shop was very busy, but they got the sensor replaced and we were back on the road within an hour. Being from out of state and having to make a long trek to the airport that same afternoon so that I didn't miss my flight had me concerned, but thanks to Bessemer, the repair was done very quickly and allowed us to continue our plans with minimal delay. Thank you.

This is my favorite place to get oil changes, tires and check ups in Greensboro. I went there today. Everyone is always friendly and you can wait or drop off your car for services.

Worst mechanic ever. Brought my 1993 Cadillac Seville in to be worked on a while back- they gave us a very good price. We were very happy until we made it put of the parking lot. I mean, unless you consider your car going 40 miles per hour up hill without your foot on the gas to be a good thing. Later we got someone else to check it out- the car was ruined. It would have taken more to fix it than we spent on buying it to begin with. There were parts missing, parts that weren't supposed to be there. And now, a friend of mine decided to go there even when I warned her. Now her air-conditioning is broken in 100�+ weather and they are refusing to fix it. I'm surprised they have any business at all.

These guys are great. They are fair, honest, up front, and willing to listen and answer questions. I have taken vehicles here for over 10 years and have yet to have any issues with their service, repairs, or products. Today after another local shop refused to even look at my vehicle because I had done some of my own repairs, the guys at Bessemer jumped on it. They listened to my concern, they test drive the vehicle, they diagnosed the issue, illustrated the problem to me, and repaired the vehicle in under 2 hours. They can get busy, but that is a sign of the quality work and customer service you will get!

They do not stand behind their work. Bought tires for years from them and had one problem and the guy tells me too bad. They are rude and refuse to listen to anything. I took the car to get balance and rotation of new tires and asked if I needed another alignment since I had new shocks and struts. The tech insisted I did not need another alignment. then eight months later the front tire is bald while the rest of the 50K miles tires are brand new. I was not asking for a free tire, just pro rated or something. I pay for name brand tires for a reason, they have a company that stands behind them, if they fail. This business is a thief, and assho1e.

Fast and affordable and I love going there. They are really nice people. New vending Machines and tv to eat and watch. It a really chill place to be when waiting for your car to be Worked on by great men. Go by there people and get your car SERVICED. THE LADY AND HER DAUGHTER AT THE COUNTER IS VERY NICE. I went here to get my breaks fixed. They did an awesome job. My breaks felt tighter and stronger. You can also get a NC State inspection, oil changes, etc. They charge fair prices and you don't have to wait very long. The staff is always courteous and respectful. I'd recommend this place to anyone in need of car repairs.

I have been reading previous reviews and have to agree with a lot that has been said recently. I have been going to Bessemer Tire for many years and have had good service until recently. They often do have better prices on tires BUT, my last and I say last because I will never go back was accused of trying to claim I had damage and scratches on my wheels previous from their work.I went in to get a new set of tires. Friendly service behind desk as always. Had tires put on and told car was ready. Went to pick car up and noticed several deep scratches around the wheel. I brought this to their attention and they said it s impossible our machine did that .Well it was not there before and I know the wheel are nothing special but I do know my vehicle and they made me feel like I was trying to pull something over on them. Offered nothing and not even an apology. I more or less was just bringing it to their attention because wheels should not be damaged when tires are put on.Anyway, they lost a long time customer and I m quite sure they don t care.I ve started going to Taylor s tire that is not much further away and I like them much better.

I have been doing business with these people for 3 years now. I use them for both my company vehicles as well as my personal vehicles. They have always been more than fair in terms of pricing and their work has always been exceptional. I have NEVER had to go back behind them or question their bill or the work when they are done. They do what they say every time. Their tire pricing is one of the best in town. If you have a favorite brand you like to use they will get it for you but I would take their recommendation on the deals they have in tires. I typically save a good sum of money when I go with their suggestion. If you like used tires they have some of the best ones in town. They look almost new. I think highly of the people at Bessemer Tire and recommend them to everyone I know. - Tom Bruce

I used to go here before I would go anywhere else because they were helpful and gave the best prices. Recently I asked them to check my motor mounts and make sure they were safe to drive on until I could afford to replace them. I had been hearing a sound around the engine, that sounded like bad motor mounts. They fold me that all three were broke and told me they were going to charge 6-7 hours for labor. I bought the parts myself and had a friend do the work. None of the mounts were broke and were only slightly worn. I could have easily gone another year with them. I will never go back here and will never trust them again.

I've been going here for years. The staff is awesome and will take care of your car. No matter what car or tire I've ever needed they always have the best price by alot. Sometimes they are literally hundreds less for 4 new tires and you're still getting a good tire.

I ve always received quick, efficient service here. The prices are more reasonable than other local shop that I ve dealt with. It does seem a little odd to have children who look like they re in middle school running the front desk, but I suppose that s part of the family business atmosphere? I would recommend them to family and friends.

Had a wheel bearing go out over the holiday and had them replace it for me. Great service as always. My Dad has been a customer for 30+ years and we have always been taken care of. Thanks again for another great experience.

Use to love the people and the service. I've been a customer for over 20yrs. This use to be an honest business, however over the year the mechanics have changed and so have the service and the honesty. Avoid the BIG mechanic. He'll damage your car seat and not fix your problem you requested but find something more expensive and claim that was the problem. That's how he gets you back in there for more money. No longer a customer.
