I had Ben take a look at a f250 I had bought off my father in law that wasn t running that Ended up needing a motor rebuild or put a used motor in it. Me and Ben talked options and since I was in a time crunch I opted to have a used motor put in the truck. Ben found a used motor same day. Put my deposit down for the motor to be pulled and within a week or so the truck was back up and running. Had a few SMALL hiccups with the used motor (expected occasionally) but Ben was always on it with bring it by the shop we ll take care of it Ben and his crew is now my trusted diesel mechanics!

Got my truck lowered with a Belltech stage 3 kit and a polished grill & fog lights installed. Ben did a awesome job. Great family vibe

I m from out of state here in North Carolina working. Been having issues with my steering gearbox. I looked all over the place in this area for a mechanic to replace my gearbox. Earliest I could find an opening was two months out. I ve been gone from my home state Texas for two months already working I can t go another two months before I make it home. Got referred to these nice gentleman here at Wide Open Throttle, they understood the situation I was in, and the next thing I knew my truck was up on the lift getting fixed. I didn t realize there were good honest people around like this anymore. They re quick, efficient, and very reasonable. I couldn t have been more pleased with the quality of work. They definitely get a five star from me. I just wish they were in Texas.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Ben and his crew have did a great job with my truck. I can call Ben and explain any issues I am having with truck and he is quick to jump on it. He always explains what's going on, what needs to be replaced, is always straight forward and never tries to sell extra. Ben is very reasonable and very fair priced. He never disappoints and has a life time customer for my diesel.

These guys have done honest work on my vehicle. Any time I have an issue Benjamin says get it to the shop and it's taken care of. I highly recommend this shop!

Mr. Law did work on my husbands Ford F250. Pricing was great, the turn around time was faster than I expected, the staff is super friendly and have wonderful customer service. He did good quality work and I will be back for future upgrades! I would highly recommend this shop for all of your powerstroke diesel needs!

I took my high mileage F250 truck to Wide Open Throttle (WOT) for a pulley or belt chirping when cold. It is still chirping like it was when I first took it in. I am disappointed with the experience that I've had with WOT and especially not getting a follow up to see if the issue was resolved after I last picked up. I'll take my business elsewhere if $525 got me parts (2 different belts, a tensioner, an idler pulley and a new water pump) that I likely didn't need as a result of a seemingly failed diagnosis (stethoscope included) on 2 separate attempts. Although labor charges were waived for the second attempt while replacing the water pump, I don't have confidence in a 3rd go round with WOT or recommending WOT service to anyone else.Update in response to owner response to my original review:I did specifically state the chirp noise I had was most notable when the engine was cold.The owner did replace several parts at cost and labor that was negotiated lower during the first visit.The morning after I got my truck back the first time I had the same noise. Not a "new noise". In fact, it's the same noise my truck still has.I did choose to drop my truck of Monday instead of the Sat a.m. when I reported the noise was still there the morning after I picked up from my first visit. That was for my convenience.Putting forth effort, discounting parts and doing second attempt repairs for no additional labor IS the right way to conduct business. However, getting the problem solved has to be the final outcome along with all of those things.

The crew at W.O.T is very knowledgeable and always operate in a timely matter. They are capable of everything from everyday repairs to lift kits and full motor builds. I recommend them to anyone looking for affordable quality service and will continue to do so. Thanks guys!!

I paid him less money than I should have, and had more work done than I deserved. The truck is now a beast and my wife gives me "The Look" when I'm driving. These country boys know what they're doing.
