I have had all my auto inspections done here for well over 10 years now Mr Tipton is always fast and friendly. He also has a great waiting room with a big lazyboy recliner.Update I went for my vehicle inspection and he had a sign on the door saying No Nc inspections being done. May 2020

I had been going to Tipton's for over twenty years. He used to treat me like family and gave me an honest price. Recently I went there and told him I thought there was a problem with a part in my car and he went on a rant how people like me were a problem and how he sometimes acts like he no longer provides a service or makes an excuse for why he can't fix something.Over a year ago I gave him a 5-star review with a beaming review about honesty. But after that rant, I can't endorse that review. It's bad business to complain about the people who are providing for your living. It's worse business to refuse people who are in need of a service that can be provided, but is refused because they lack the knowledge of vehicle maintenance. It's the reason a person comes to a service, because they lack the knowledge or resources to make the necessary actions.

This is the best place I've found in Goldsboro. In addition to quick and easy inspections, they have done great work on my vehicles for a reasonable price. In fact, one time, there was some hidden damage discovered while repairing something else. I wasn't prepared to pay for the additional repair, but I was given a substantial discount on the additional work because it was "the right thing to do." As other people have said, Tipton's treats you like you're family.

If you are in Goldsboro and you need an oil change, tires, etc, consider Tipton's. The sign says you will be treated like family and they ain't lying. Probably the nicest group of people I have ever met. Honest and dependable.

I really do recommend coming here to get your car looked at. The service is quick, professional, and the prices are fair. The waiting room is really cool as well, felt like I was at home while waiting to get my car repaired. I really can't say enough nice things about this place, see for yourself this is quality auto repair service with quality customer service combine.Service: Battery

Third year I've gone here for state inspection. Never a problem so long as the car is sound. The owner and his wife are super friendly. Highly recommend them for the service.

I went in to get a simple inspection like I ve done the past 2 years and the guy put my car up on the lift which he has never done before well I asked why did you lift it he said I was being difficult and I could leave then turned around and said it was law well I said it was just a question and he told me that he had got a ticket and therefor if you take your car there you are not allowed to ask questions concerning your own vehicle. Then he told me that I must be having a bad day and that he could call the law to explain as to why my car had been lifted . Again this was for an inspection

I just got my oil changed at Tipton s on Ash and they are just the most pleasant bunch of Tiptons I ve ever met. They give the Tipton the name what it deserves!
