01 f250 7.3L crew cabMade an appointment as soon as they opened on a Monday, was seen by Tuesday at opening time. They corrected mistakes the previous mechanic made, and came into the shop to show me the incorrect components as well and the damaged parts the previous mechanic left. They provided quality service, quality parts, at an affordable price and they did it the SAME DAY. These guys are professionals. I drove over an hour to be seen here and I would do it again.Edit: Worked till lunchtime and my truck was still in the shop. The owner gave me his keys to go get lunch, we all sat and ate together. Doesn t get better than that gents.

Extremely professional and accommodating. They were able to fit me In same day putting the shaft back in phase and balancing it. If you need anything driveline taken care of this is the place to do it!

Recommend these guys 100% for all your drive shaft needs. They had me in and out within 2.5 hours after cleaning up a mess that another shop made. They were up front and super personable. I drove an hour for the service and I will drive a lot further in the future if needed. Can t say enough good things; take your driveshaft to them!!

I called on a Monday told them my problem and they made me an appointment for the next day. Took my truck to them and they redone my drive shaft with new ends, balancing with new joints and straps cleaned and painted it and had me back going in two and a half hours. Truck had a vibration before now rides like a new truck. Great price. Would recommend them to anyone wanting great, honest and fair price work done. Thanks again.

I showed up Monday morning with no appointment in the hopes they could fit me in for a driveshaft. They could not, however they did order the parts needed to convert my Mustang to a 1 piece shaft. I came back on Friday the same week and they got me taken care of. Fixed a vibration that 3 other shops could not. They built me a beautiful 3.5" aluminum driveshaft and my car has never been smoother. A huge thank you to all the guys who worked on my car. I'd recommend this place to anyone needing driveline work.

I installed dual cases in my bronco and need new driveshafts made along with adjusting my transmission crossmember. These guys got the job done pretty quickly and I haven't had any issues with the shafts. I'll be taking my bronco back when I stretch the wheelbase for another set of shafts.

Set an appointment with them for 9-10am today for lengthening my rear driveshaft. When I arrive I let them know I had my front driveshaft if they had time as well. They had gotten both knocked out in under 3 hours. The craftmanship was on point and the measurements I had given them worked out excellent. Would highly recommend easy to work with as well.

Every auto shop and auto parts wanted to charge me 800+ to 900 for just the drive shaft (aluminum). They blessed me with a custom made steel one for sub 400 and it works better than the original. I would go anywhere else's for my drive train needs. 10 out of 10 would recommend. And the most polite group I've had the pleasure of doing business... Not to mention I drove an hr and 45 min on Friday and they had it done first thing Monday.

I called Mr.Richard and told him my issues with my 05 Tundra drive shaft. I told him that I was an hour away and without hesitating he told me to get it to them. There team fixed my drive shaft issues while I waited .They painted it and 100% guaranteed it not to vibrate. I went home and installed it.I drove my truck and it was smooth as silk.They were also very fair with the pricing.I am very impressed with the service and staff .Thanks Metal Craft

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has driveline issues. I don t normally give rating of 5 stars but this place earned them. I placed a Call to Metalcraft & Mechanical Service Inc on Monday about bringing in my driveshaft to be rebalanced. I was told they could slip me into the schedule for the next day. I showed up, they immediately took my vehicle in an started the work. In the middle of the work, I was brought to the back of the shop an shown what was wrong with my U-joints an told they would need to be replaced. The cost to balance my two piece drive shaft an replace three U-Joints and a Center bearing was fair(Great). They even threw a coat of paint on my driveshaft when they were finished. Everyone who work there is respectful and the work performance is outstanding! I will definitely use their services again.

These guys did an outstanding job. Not only did they fix the issue with my driveshaft, but they cleaned and painted it, and gave it back to me looking brand new. Great service, would highly recommend for any driveline related jobs.

I had my truck worked on by Metalcraft and Mechanical Service, today, and couldn't be more pleased. I had the u-joints and carrier bearing replace on my F250. Very nice people, reasonably priced, quality parts, fast service and great work. They even threw a coat of paint on the driveshaft which I didn't expect but was a nice touch. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing driveshaft work. Top notch!

If you need anything done with a driveshaft, these are the people! Center bearing went out on my big rig and after replacing it I couldn't get shed of a bad vibration. Went and saw Mr Warren, told him what I had, and my time schedule. He had me going in no time! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. If I so much as even need a u-joint now, these are the guys I call and you should too!

Took a busted driveshaft for my drag car to them based of some local racer recommendations. The entire experience was a win from start to finish. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and competent. Great place. New shaft was ready when promised and the car has been back to the track and the driveshaft has been flawless.

I just had a driveshaft straightened and repaired along with 2 ujoints replaced there and I can't say enough great things about my experience with Metalcraft and Mechanical Service! They do great work and the price is great as well, you won't be disappointed giving them your business!

By far the best driveshaft company out there!I had a custom driveshaft out of a Honda Goldwing Trike that could only be replaced per the manufacturer of the trike kit.I carried it just to see if they could fix it and while I waited, replaced the U-joint saving hundreds of dollars for me and my customer!Great Family run company!!

Made a replacement driveshaft for 2004 f150 (original one has staked in ujoints which can be replaced but at same cost as new driveshaft) and worked great. Fast and prompt service. customer took old driveshaft, picked up new one that afternoon (thanks for staying a little after hours). I was able to complete rear differential replacement without waiting 3-5 days for new driveshaft. Will be using their service in future. Thanks Lewis Tire and Automotive

My drive shaft came out from under my truck, drove from Durham to them I would say it felt like less than a hour I had a brand new drive shaft. Service was great ,the whole experience was wonderful, will be going there for all my trucks.

Drove up from Greenville NC after finding these guys on Google. They talked me thru getting my measurements on a custom driveshaft and they were able to get the job done the same day. Excellent service!!

Metalcraft balanced the driveshaft of my 2010 Toyota Tundra and they did a phenomenal job. Professional and courteous family ran organization...highly recommended
