They've taken great strides to hire folks who are personable and that goes a long way. The tool boxes leave a bit to be desired but nearly everything a person needs can be borrowed from the counter. Plus, where else can you use a lift, transmission jack, hydraulic press, and countless other tools that would cost a ton more just to rent somewhere, for SIX DOLLARS an hour? No where. Still the best bargain around for the do-it-yourself mechanic, period. Good DAY!

I love this place. If you're AD/Retired or otherwise have MWR access on base and like to do your own vehicle maintenance...this is your spot. I've been twice and both times it was empty- just about had the place to myself.Regardless- it's got lifts, air, oil bowsers, a motorcycle jack, pretty much anything you'd need. Tool wise they have a decent selection, but like most MWR auto hobby shops it's not a bad idea to bring what you need to do your job. Wish I was in town longer to use it more, but next time I'm swinging through Goldsboro, this is on the list when I need an oil change.

Have majority of all the tools you need and you can spend all day from open to close and not even spent near anything you would of anywhere else staff are nice and will help you out of struggling and a first timer working on your own vehicle
