Went in after my car started shuddering thinking it was something dealing with the fuel filter and ended up with a brand new battery and as they were installing it they taught me how the batterie can affect the engine definitely will be going back soon!

Had a difficult experience at a different location and ended up here. I just wanted to shout Lance out. Not only was he helpful, he paid attention to our questions and answered every single one. I will definitely be back at this location just because of him. Thank YOU Lance!!

Employees were able to test battery to verify failure condition, check OBD codes, and were able to replace failing battery without radio losing saved settings.Update: Battery I got from them failed after less than two years, even though their tester said it was good they honored the warranty and replaced it for me. While they replaced it I also got a handheld jump starter so I hopefully won't have an issue being stranded again.

Stopped in for some fluids and filters for some oil changes on my cars. Lady was super helpful and even labeled my oil filters for each respective car without even asking her too. Keep up the great work!

Superb customer service! The staff and manager are genuinely friendly and professional. Christian and Susan took their time to help me solve my problem with locating and calling a store out of state to find my purchase information. They were patient, they listened and they took care of me in no time. A good team with good customer support makes all the difference. Thanks guys

Way better than average assistance from the staff at this store. Some stores, I have waited for what seemed to be ages before anyone acknowledged my presence. Rarely have I waited more than a minute here before being asked if I needed help. Kudos to this store, the counter people and the manager. But mostly, the workers. Keep up the good customer service! Y'all deserve a raise! Updated review: It just gets better. I walked in looking for a particular item. The woman arranging products on the aisle I was in aked what I was looking for. I told her, she stopped what she was doing and came to point out exactly where the item was. Then, she took time from her task to ring me up and sent me on my way. Great customer service and a knowledgeable employee. I highly recommend this place.

I already had the part numbers for what I needed and the person helping me couldn't even locate them on the shelf? At least they had some help and they were trying their best so that is the only reason I gave them a 5 star rating.

Just went in to get windshield wipers, however there was no book to look up correct ones. A clerk was happy to help and looked then up quickly. Before he could get the correct ones, can the phone rang so he had to answer it, luckily the call was for someone else. After he got the wipers, but before he rang me up, someone who he was helping with their car outside before I came needed help again. So, he went to help them, he was back again in 5 minutes or less, and I was rung up and was finished. The individual was helpful and courteous, but when someone is trying to checkout they would be able to complete it without interruption. I was also disappointed there wasn't any way for me to look-up the wipers for myself. Or would have been much easier for me to get them myself then checkout.

Only customer in store at the time, had to wait while employee answered phone, after I was at counter to checkout. After a few minutes of listening to her conversation, the other employee who was just walking around behind counter, finally offered to help me. Not terrible, but they can do better. Especially when they're not busy.

Slipping was my favorite auto part store they need better pricing o. Their items and inventory getting to be like that horrible Autozone. advance you have 3 star because your staff have knowledge on parts. If wasn't for that solid 2stars

The guy at the counter was really helpful. I had an air filter for an engine with aftermarket parts and he helped find the correct part for me. Went out of his way to get me a $15 filter.

James was very helpful and had new windshield wipers installed within 5 minutes of me walking in with my 3 kiddos in tow. Customer service was great and they were very helpful!

Great service. But some of the younger staff don't know basic terminology for tools or parts. The older staff seem to have a better grip on parts and terminology. It will come with time.

I bought an item at the store and they asked me for my telephone number. I tried to return the item after I found out that I couldn't use it and was told they had no history of me purchasing the item and I had to have a transaction number for them to return an item. It's my fault for not being able to find the receipt but it's really bad customer service to have a system in place where you are supposed to be able to help the customer in situations like this only to tell them there is nothing you can do and they are stuck with an item they don't need.

Great service and good guys. Matt was especially friendly! These guys give you the advice you need regardless of whether you bought anything (Don't abuse this guys) and the way they handle situations is graceful. Come here whenever you're in auto part need!

What a great experience I had. The staff was incredible. They checked out my charging system before replacing my battery. Quick and efficient. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely be back again.

I ordered a battery online, and in no time they had my battery out and put the new one in. I was all set to go. Mask are required and socisl distancing is practiced. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about products.

Courteous workers at the counter are always eager to help you find what you need or help if they can, and usually they're very knowledgeable. The parts are pretty organized as well, making it easy to find what you're looking for.

Lazy didn't want to look a part up .i ask could you order it he said no...so I go another advance auto..the lady looked it up and they had it...I ask if mt.olive store have it she looked it up and said yes...smh...auto zone from here .I'm done

I have moved here to goldsboro in the begining of this year and so far i love this place. The first time i had to go to this store my car shut off on me on my way to the pizza place and the car was in the middle of the lane. a couple of the guys working at the advance store came out to see if i needed any help and they helped me by pushing my car into the parking lot. They offered to preform a couple of the free test they do there and i found out that something killed my battery. I cant remember there names but the two gentlemen that was working there not only helped me get my car our of the way but got me the part i needed they even went as far as having a mechanic come to me to finishing helping me fix my car. I have been at a couple of other parts store including the other advance one near by and all i can say is that this one is far better than the rest.

I went into advanced auto today on Berkeley blvd in Goldsboro around 10:40am or 10:45amI was needing some help my windshield wiper had just stop working a couple of days before when it had rain. ABSOLUTELY KNOW ONE (customers) was in advance auto. The cashier says can I help you. I let her know that my windshield wipers stop working and needed someone to check them out. The lady with red hair says OHH WE CANT DO THAT! We don t have the equipment to look at your windshield wipers. Her exact words. I have been there before in the pass and there were some friendly people that has helped me. I don t think I will not be going back.

Maybe this store isn t for people of color, well at least that s how Brandy feels & what she told her co-worker but it was very vulgar so I won t say up here. Advance Auto employs racist bigots at this location & I won t be returning.

Very helpful when my car broke down across the street. They sent someone to jumpstart my vehicle and then checked the battery. They were extremely helpful, nice and professional.

They always seem to have lower prices for the things I need. They have had things in stock when others didn't. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.
