Considering the circumstances, as well as can be expected. Quick installation and good conversation in between. They were very professional (especially the gentleman who installed the device, he was very knowledgeable and educated you on how to use the device). The device has been functioning well and I'm pleased with my experience with Smart Start, Gastonia. Thanks guys.

This company is a money racket I ve been dealing with them for almost 3 years, and I feel extremely bad for the people who can never get them removed from having to start over cause no matter what they tell these devices are faulty. I have had a total of 5 installed in 3 years trying to fix the issues. Which has even led to towing which outrageous prices since you have to pay the driver of the truck to drive back as well. I wholeheartedly believe there company is well aware and leave their technicians to ignorance after arguing with one for hours telling me my battery was the issue. But guess what 3 months later still on same battery after moving the device to another vehicle. Just don t go here you re likely to spend more at smart start than going to somewhere else more professional with less issues. This place is more risk than drinking and driving beware.

Behond a shadow of a doubt, Smart start is the leader in the industry, trust me, I m not proud, but I ve had Smart-start and I ve had other companies,and I m here to help you, if you get a dui, don t even think about any other companies, I would say their name, but trust me, stay away from them, they will tell you this, and they will do the opposite, just to take your money, I m living proof and can prove it ! Customer service, upper management, and of course, the installer. They all want as much money as they can get from the customer and they avoid letting you go over there head. They are that bad, so I got one now and I hope I never need another one, but Smart start is the only one, from the customer service, the installers in Gastonia, all the way, are the best in the industry, Thank you Smart start !

very polite and professional the wait time was a minimum and the staff was very informative and helpful eager to answer any questions I had. overall I was very pleased with my service at Smart start and very happy I chose you guys will definitely recommend you.

Just had the device installed a few days ago and so far so good. The folks working at the Gastonia location were real nice and helpful. Everything went smooth and I can drive now. Woohoo

After being in this unfortunate situation, I did a little research, and it seem like SmartStart was going to be the best value for me.Long story short, ended up in Gastonia, North Carolina for appointment and service was exceptional! Installation was fast and quick and easy operation instructions were given.Jerry and Andrew were excellent to work with and total professionals with no surprise fee issues. I would definitely recommend this place!!

CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! Everyone else I spoke to was rude. Got my device installed here today after dragging it out for years. The only irritation for me was learning the blow him pattern but that irritation was on me for getting a dui in the first place. The two guys working today were super respectful, informative and made the whole process more comfortable. Not only are they great at their job they are very personable as well. Don t get mad at them about things the state requires firstly they didn t get the dui, secondly they are just enforcing what they have to per NC. Thanks guys!!!

The installation technician was friendly and efficient. Overall experience was good. I called the technician when I had a small issue he was courteous, helpful and resolved the issue quickly. Turned out to be user error!!!

Had to have my car towed and was told there was no problem. Device has been acting up since installed like it's not wired correctly. Instead of trying to find the problem I was treated poorly. Jared was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not continue to use this location.

The techs at this location were very informative and knowledgeable. It's definitely not the best event in your life having to get this machine installed but they made it as tolerable as possible while informing you as well. Definitely would recommend this location and company if a Interlock is absolutely necessary on your vehicle.

100 times better than Monitech. We all make mistakes and the tech treated me like another person. He was polite and detailed.

Interlock was not installed correctly and I didn t even make it home before it came disconnected and wouldn t start. Today 3 months later some wires got wrapped around my steering column and had to have my vehicle towed to their Hickory shop. I had to pay for the tow, I will never go back to the Gastonia location.

The samoeun guy is very unfriendly and is very very ruff with people's vehicles when I say ruff I mean he will mess your stuff up watch him beat people's fuse boxes back on and all you have to do is barely push on them ruff on your switches and wiring. The really young guy is very very polite and has great manners very customer friendly. He will also explain things to you where the samoeun guy doesn't. My husband car acts up everytime the samoeun guy touches it.
