Had my fuel injectors on my 2017 Honda Civic replaced here and was very pleased with my experience. Team used original equipment parts on my vehicle which I appreciate! They were prompt in getting parts ordered, relaying updates on the progress, and getting my daily driver back to me in less than a week for this extensive repair, and most of all straightforward and honest in their work. $90 to diagnose a car just for the issue is a little much. Car shops in Gastonia that will do it for $30. Don t hike prices just because.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. If I could leave no stars I would. This place is dangerous and full of liars. Took my car in, asked them to look at the brakes repeatedly. When we picked the car up the lady up front said no issues were found. She confirmed that on the phone with us and in person. Yet when we get the car home and look at why the brakes are still squeaking, do we find that this shop LOST the caliper bolt on one brake, and the other was so loose it was about to fall off.If we hadn't gone to check the issue ourselves, I could've gotten in a SERIOUS accident and possibly died due to no brakes!! When confronted, the lady up front and the mechanic said they never actually looked at my brakes. Even though we were told they did repeatedly! We specifcally requested this since they squeked.We didn't want anything from them, just to acknowledge and understand the lack of care for other people is astounding. I TRUST mechanics to do their jobs correctly, and clearly that was a mistake here. DO NOT GO HERE.

I went to this place for an alignment on my Honda and to start the price was pretty decent and everything was going great until me and my boyfriend test drove the car and the steering wheel was tilted to the right and also super stiff. After we noticed we called and asked if we could bring the car back for an alignment sheet and they were willing to let us bring it back the next day for another alignment and the sheets. Upon returning we mentioned to the women at the front desk that the steering wheel was super stiff. She told us that the stiffness had nothing to do with the alignment. Which in fact it did, it was not stiff before bringing it in for the alignment. She then went to ask some man that alignments don t cause stiffness and the man said it doesn t as well. But we wasn t going to argue that with them so we sat down and waited for the car. After an hour passed by the car was ready. They then gave me and my boyfriend the alignment sheet and another sheet telling us the total, a vsa code and that the right side was off a little. Which the women mentioned that the computer told them that I had a vsa code which is why the steering wheel was stiff. I just find it odd that now when I m driving my car the steering is fixed and it feels like how it was before they fixed it the first time.I would definitely go back but just the arguing about the steering wheel was weird. You get what you pay for.

I just want to give a big thank you for helping out my son a few days back. He's not a mechanic and Autistic so when I can't help him with a mechanical issue, I have to rely on others to do so. The staff was very professional on the phone with us both and they got his car diagnosed and fixed in an expedient manner. The fact that the business is veteran owned is a huge plus for me. Quite good and fast to respond on calls, they're busy most of the time but will attend to your needs right away if the schedule permits. Tisha will give you the fair price right away if you knew what needs to be done on your car. I work just 2 blocks away from their shop so it's easy for me to just drop off my car and they'll just call me back when it's done (on the same day). I already have recruited 2 of my coworkers to deal business with them. So far so good!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

This is by far the best place I know of in Gastonia to get repairs done!My starter went out on my 2018 Ford Escape, I had it towed there by Tommy's Towing on Tuesday (11/1) and picked it up on Thursday (11/3) even after having to get the part from the dealership and the price wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thank you Tisha and Bob for taking care of my ride! :)Bless you both and your children!Beverly

I would definitely not recommend. The woman quoted $64 dollars for the repair. When we got there to pick up the car they tried to charge almost $700 to get my car back. Also had other quotes attached for different repairs that were not discussed. Then proceeded to say they wouldn't suggest driving the car because it still needed repairs. They lied about the cost of repairs and upcharge $600 from the original price quoted. Needless to say they still have the car because they want to charge almost $700 to fix a spark plug.

I called about a clicking in my steering wheel on my Hyundai Veloster. I knew from reading online exactly what it was. Teesha answered the phone and asked what kind of car I drove, I told her a Hyundai. She knew exactly what it was when I told her my make of car. So I knew right away they knew what they were talking about! Made me comfortable about taking my car to this small family owned shop for the first time. Along with the positive reviews. I gave them a chance and I will definitely recommend them and be back for future issues with my vehicle! Great price too! $194 and done the same day. The Hyundai dealership told me it d be close to a $500-$750 fix and about 3 days. That s so ridiculous! So happy I found Quality Auto Repair. I will be back!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Great service, Great People, Affordable Quality Care! This is the greatest auto repair shop in North Carolina. Since moving to the area a few years ago, I found Bob and Teesha's family business to be the greatest there is.They are honest, friendly, and will take great care of your vehicle! Only one of our previous vehicle's had a gasket replacement that didn't seat 100% but Bob and his team took care of it without any questions. They re-installed the gasket with a better seat/seal and got the car back to us in less than an hour. This is customer service! We don't look for perfection, but that a business takes care of their customers and provides a great customer experience. #lifetime customer

Our family has been using Quality Auto Repair since they opened. We will never go anyplace else. Bob, the owner can fix about anything I have seen and he does the work in a timely manner. They treat everybody the same and never overcharge on our bills. I would be perfectly OK to let my children or wife take their cars to him and never worry that what he is saying is actually what they need to fix. I would give this business 10 stars if I could. Try them, you won't be sorry.

Bob is a good scammer. Ripped me off 3 times last year and my mother as well. We both had BMW s that kept breaking after his repairs. The third repair which cost me about 1200 was for the rear diff. I found out he never even changed it. He threw a sheet of dirty foot paper in my floorboard leaving me to believe he repaired it. I was right the whole time, it was a wheel bearing. Bob charged my mom 1200 to replace her coils we called around and found out it was a $300 job at most. It s okay though they have a Bible sitting in the lobby to make you feel like they are a good company and you won t get scammed. One more thing. He broke a cooling component in my car while making a repair and made me pay for something he admitted to break. Most of the reviews on here are fabricated to make them look good. I am a huge advocate of good businesses so trust me even though they are 5 stars don t go as deep as I did to get scammed.

Received a coupon in the mail for a free oil change, when I moved to Gastonia. Was quickly scheduled when I called. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff and my truck was taken to the bay within 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, I received my keys and was on my way! I will definitely be using Quality Auto Repair for all of my future oil changes.

I have used Quality Auto care for the last several years. I must say they are the best in Gastonia. Very honest very reasonable price and well qualified to fix any vehicle you have. Bob & Tish are very friendly and always greet you with a smile and positive attitude. They are simply the best. They fix all of my vehicle from Galant, honda, Chevy truck & BMW, they can handle it all.

I have never had a better experience. Awesome customer service. My oil was changed and my key fob battery replaced in 45 minutes and paid a reasonable amount. This will definitely be my go to place for service needs.

They fit me in right away. Took care of exactly what I needed. Gave me a free quote of other potential problems without coercing me to buy more on the spot. They have free wifi and an area for kids to play. Everything about Quality Auto Repair is high quality.

I purchased a car from them in February 2020 the car was a Acura Mdx. Mrs teesha sold me a black Acura MDX with a bad transmission that almost caused myself and my husband to get in several accidents all of this occurred within the same day of me purchasing the car they sold me a lemon I believe they are scammers and they are not the Christian people they claim to be I met teesha on fb so I don't recommend them to anybody for sales or repairs.

I used quality auto after I was told at another shop to come pick my car up there was nothing they could do for me after they had it a week so after the want to be Machanic told me to come get my car I called lots of shop in gaston area but know one would help so I took one more chance and called quality auto and they assured me that they could do it so I took it there and the next week they were good as there WORD and let me know on Tuesday that there were two main bolts also missing out of my motor and that they could also fix the broke bolts also it was a fair price and I was treated equal and felt that they were honest God fearing people that knows how to run a business I would recommend this mechanic to any one wanting the job done right thanks quality auto y'all are a life saver and a blessing David Hullender sincerelyServices: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change
