I didn't get any vehicle work done but customer service alone deserves recognition. The manager got a quote for me fast then let me store my car there for a few days even though I wasn't getting anything done. When we pulled up to trailer the car the entire shop helped us load it. Everyone was very friendly and most helpful.

The team knows what they're doing. They can be trusted to fix your vehicle the right way the first time and treat you with the respect that you deserve. Beware of the payment plans though. The interest rates are predatory and will keep you in debt. If you absolutely have to use the payment plan, then you would be wise to only get the work done that has to be done for your vehicle to run.

My car only has 74,000 miles. I went to Heineken for the so called free brake inspection. They said all my rotors needed to be replaced and get new brake pads. It was all a lie. I went to another dealership and they replaced my front pads and I went home happy. My rotors did not need to be replaced. I will never go back to Meineke nor will anyone in my family. My family has lived in this county for over 200 years.

Please never take your car here, they will rob you for everything you can. I took my van here last Saturday due to the check engine light. They immediately said the spark plugs were bad and needs to be replaced, along with a battery, carbon cleanup, and a few other things. I was desperate to have my van back on the road for my kids so I coughed up the $870 they charged me. Everything was fine until I get in my van not even 24 hours later and my check engine light is BACK ON. So I return Monday and the manager resets my check engine light and tells me it was never on. Like I didn t just drive all the way here with it on. Ok, I m not stupid but had some hope that maybe he could be honest. So I left. Check engine light back on not even 30 minutes later. I returned Tuesday and they offered to look at it but I had my children with me and didn t have time to wait around so I planned to bring it back 3/2/24. I receive a call shortly after dropping it off that BOTH of my Catalytic Converter s are bad and its $1900 to fix. Please tell me how unknowledgeable you would have to be to not have seen this issue when you charged me $870 for service. Told me only one issue shows at a time on diagnostics test. I am telling you please trust the bad review when it comes to this place. I didn t and now I m not surprised that they asked me to leave them a 5 star review the same day I took my van there. They are shady for sure. Will be getting a second opinion on my situation but trust your gut with people like this!

I'm not ready to post my full review until I can get to a trusted and well known mechanic to conduct a further investigation, but for now I will say this. If you are a woman, do not go here The bad reviews on Google ,and the BBB are pretty accurate. I only came her because their open Saturdays. I should've waited til Monday to see my regular mechanics

Daniel, the store manager was very professional, fast and efficient. It s also nice knowing that your car is in Hands, Daniel is a good guy. If you have any car problems, go to man in Gastonia.

Went in for a yearly inspection and was failed for cracked lens on headlight. Not a big deal, until the employee said, " We can get you the housing for $600'. Are you serious? I laughed and left. With that being said, purchased 2 new housing units for lights on ebay for $100. After I installed them, I took the truck to Randy's Auto care and was satisfied with the customer service. And it was only $14 vs $40. Be careful when getting work done at Meineke..obviously, they have an issue with pricing items.

Went in to get an inspection, they failed me for having a tie rod bad and then when I drove off my car was steering way off to the right. It's almost like they rigged my tie rods worse after I told them I do my own work, and I was glad they passed a new law that would make vehicle inspections obsolete. Do not come here they will make fraudulent claims on your vehicle and then they will quote you on it. Find a more trust worthy shop and always get a second opinion.

Highly recommend this location. I was in and out in just a little over an hour (they were busy and I had no problem waiting) even after I drove away and had another small issue, Preston was on it and had it fixed within two minutes of me pulling back into the parking lot. Won t go anywhere else. This is your one stop shop to keep your car running smoothly!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Hi I am a customer at Meineke car care Center. I most definitely recommend these guys. They are very oh good at what they do do. Thank you. They helped me out a whole lot on a very large payment which didn t go unnoticed. I was very very appreciated when you go ask for matt or Bree. They are on top of the job and very professional

Fixed truck well but they overcharged me for parts. I needed a caliper and the highest price I found was $59 they charged me over $200 for it. The only reason I will go back is because my brakes have a lifetime warranty on them. I will never let them fix or replace anything else.

This place is terrible. 3rd time going to them and having issues they told me my car would be done the day of then. It turned into the next day and now it turned into tomorrow. It is ridiculous. They re saying my part got delivered somewhere else and won t let me go pick it up, so i can bring it to them after offering then trying to refer it to losing it like an Amazon package very unprofessional when telling me to work with them and be understanding how can I be understanding when there s no communication and you ve been giving me a run around for three days this is completely ridiculous. It s not my fault my part got lost, nor was there any communication until four hours before they were about the close that my part somehow got lost . I went up there one time to get an issue with me Turning left fixed. I pulled off three days later I m having the same issue. They are completely terrible at this location and non-professional. I m beyond frustrated with the back and forth nonsense.

Went to get my tire patched. Didn't even need it . They checked all my tires made sure I was safe. Offered me a cup of coffee. Staff was super nice and efficient. I will be a returning customer. Thanks guysAshley

They're friendly, they work fast, and they fix the problem. Probably not the cheapest place in town, but a little better than any dealership at least. And I trust them with my vehicles. Never had a followup issue after going there.

Don't go here. They will rip you off and sell you things you don't need. They also will not do what they charged you for correctly. A brake flush is not sucking out fluid in the reservoir and adding new fluid. They will always recommend replacing items due to mileage on the vehicle even though you've already had them replaced by them. This is an exhaust shop, not a mechanic shop. Stay away from fake mechanics. It's also been known they treat their mechanics bad. Very unorganized failing company here in the local area. The management of the stores are not mechanics and are only there to make commission. Next comes DOT.

3/2/2024 12pm, went for an ac check $218.00 I agreed to have the service, about 1.5 hours I'm told I have a hose with a leak, how about they wanted an additional $424.31to fix the AC. I declined get in the car and the AC is working what was the additional $400+ for?

I took my Hummer in to get a spark plug job and I ended up getting something else done it took so long I was there at 8:15 I left Maybe 5:00 that was my whole day I'm not from North Carolina this is the first time I ever used this car care company. But long story short they did get the job done.

They installed my spark plugs and serpentine belt and my front disc brakes on my Chevy Express van they done a great Job they were Very nice & very professional and got the work done in a timely manor

I had a wonderful experience with Meinekw. They were so knowledgeable about the condition of my tires. Fixed me right up with two of the size 20. I ws extremely please with the service and the accommodation of being just friendly and understanding to my needs. Had shopped around all morning at 3 diffrerent places until I called and found them. Thanks crew(service ) for doing an A+ job.

Update: they told me they fixed my AC. Didn't fix it. Took it back and now I need a new part. The part costs less than $200. They want to charge me $1400. The new management obviously just wants money and doesn't care about customers or reputation. Will no longer use.
