I brought my truck to McClure s based on my friend s recommendation. I needed a rear main seal done on my 5.3 Silverado and they did it along with a new oil pan gasket. Price was very reasonable and they did a great job, and I m a very picky person! I would highly recommend them. Had some work done here. The service was good and reliable. Owner was very honest. I would definitely revisit this establishment for automotive work.

Very quick turnaround time but most importantly they seem to be very honest and considerate, suggesting alternatives that may save me money. That alone will make me bring my vehicles back when repairs are needed. Very pleased.

I've been coming here since I was a kid with my Dad. Tommy has worked on every car my Dad has ever owned. He's the best mechanic I know in Gaston County. So I always bring my car here for general maintenance or if something major pops up. Tommy is honest, quick and reasonable with prices compared to other auto shops. He also goes above and beyond to make sure you know exactly what's wrong with your vehicle unlike others who simply guess. Tommy got my car in, despite being busy as frigg, he diagnosed it same day. I wasn't willing to spend the money to fix my car (engine blew up), but only charged me $20 for his time. I'm sure the rate would be reasonable for swapping in a new engine, but it was an old car that was not really worth it to repair any more. Will visit again as needed.

Im more than pleased with the work done on my vehicle. Tommy is straight forward as to diagnosing what is wrong with my vehicles and can get me back on the road in a short time. No price gouging here, either. It could only be better if I could wait for the vehicle while the work is done. It is difficult for me to find ride to/from the shop.

We were passing through the area while out of town & happened to need an unexpected service to our van. Tommy did what he could to get us in and out within a few hours. He was honest and reasonable! So thankful for his honesty and making sure we got back on the road!

Wonderful experience (If having to have a new fuel pump installed, four hours into a two day road trip can be anywhere near wonderful). Mr. McClure was very nice and figured out what the problem was, fixed it right then, and was reasonably priced. Highly recommend this shop for you automotive needs!

I was on road trip with my girlfriend only 4 hours from home and the Tahoe started spuddering like it wasn't getting gas. We stopped in Gastonia, North Carolina afraid to continue with our trip. We found McClure's Auto Service. My husband is an automotive technician and hearing horror stories makes me alittle leary of places I don't know.But I have to tell you Mr. McClure was there first thing in the morning and we were diagnosed, given an estimate, repaired and on our way in a couple hours. The service was friendly, accurate and efficient. I would trust this shop with your business.

Local mechanic. Such a nice guy. You can tell he flat out LOVES what he does and it ain't about trying to get rich. He wants to help and DOES. I came a few mins before closing (desperately) and he just knocked the job out. No questions asked. THANK YOU
