They do great work and reasonably priced. I had some work done about 1 1/2 years ago, and it was tearing, went by with my receipt, no hesitation or any type of excuses, but it shouldn't be doing that. We will fix and make it right. I used J&J 15 years ago for a project and received great service and a great product.. I was so impressed back then that I commissioned them to do another job even though I live an hour away and had other options. Shane took the time to see my vision and made it happen... I may have paid a little more and waited a little longer... but the end result was much better than I expected.. at the end of the day it's all about value and it's true... "you get what you pay for" These folks do a great job and the craftsmanship is superb. I would recommend them to anyone.. great job guys!

My husband had used this company several times and thought they were very fair, did good work, and most importantly extremely nice. He called them for me yesterday morning to see if they could fix a problem I had. (A large problem for me, but a minor one for them) We went in when I got off work. They stopped what they were doing and fixed my problem on the spot. Great people to work with!

Had my '78 Trans Am there to fix my headliner that was starting to come down. Price was very reasonable. Didn't have to wait a long time for an appointment which was great, because we were pressed for time to get it done before a huge car show.I do recommend them.

They rock!!! The gentlemen that run this place are patient and professional. I actually brought in an office chair with a ripped up seat cushion, and had them re-upholster it. It took some time for them to get to it, but they did an AWESOME upholstery job and charged an incredibly fair labor fee for doing so. I am so pleased with how it turned out, and can not recommend these guys enough! Fair prices and great craftsmanship!As a bonus, my little car got STUCK as I was pulling out from picking up the chair. Owner came out with a jack and got me unstuck no problem. What a stand-up guy!

After having my convertible top replaced, I am Very disappointed about the present condition of my roof liner. My vehicle's liner was returned to me in worse condition than when I brought vehicle in for repair. The owner admitted his companies wrong doings after returning the vehicle three times for repairs.

The owner quoted me 8 weeks to complete my job. After not hearing anything for 10 weeks the owner stated it would be 2-3 more weeks. I checked back again after three weeks and my upholstery had not been touched. The owner said he was behind and it would be 2-3 weeks more. I again checked back three weeks later and it was still untouched. So after four months of it setting there untouched I took it to another shop. The owner's attitude was indifferent and could have cared less if I was dissatisfied. I would never take anything to this business if you ever want to get the work done in a timely manner.

Recommend by my local mechanic for a tricky motorized sunroof shade replacement. I travelled from a neighboring county to have them perform the work that I was charged 1/3 (of the low end) of the dealer estimate. Friendly, professional and quick it s easy to see why their lot is jammed with customers. Probably the best kept secret in the business and I would not hesitate to call on them again.Services: Retrofitting, Upholstery installation

We just used J&J Upholstery for a center console recover for a 2015 Tahoe, Wow what a incredible job they did, fast turn around and very affordable we have been using another shop in Charlotte for over 15 years to find out we been getting over charged almost triple the the price from that shop, how disapointing that is to find out. We will be making a switch to J&J Upholstery for the future and look for to referring all of our customers to them!! 100% satisfied with the results!!!!!!Service: Upholstery repair

J&J did a good job on my headliner. Looks great and the price was fair, especially for quality work. They also gave me a quick turnaround, less than a day to do the work. Only drawback is the adhesive smells terrible. But it airs out in a few days.

I had some questions regarding the door panel repairs on a 2010 Mustang GT.All my questions were answered and was given a estimate. I will be going back when I get the repairs done.

Fantastic job compared to dealership. Very nice people to deal with. Parking iffy. With all the work he does he could use a larger workplace or find a way for customers to be able to park or at least be able to turn around without fear of hitting another vehicle waiting on repairs. Loved the work

We were told to brimg our BMW to J&J on a Tuesday to install a headliner and 2 door panels. So we dropped it off as requested. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing we called. They said they were trying to get to it. 2 weeks later we called again. They said they should get to it that week. After 2 more weeks of hearing nothing we called yet again. It has now been 7 weeks and we were told they decided not to fix it. Said they were too busy.I guess the customers that came in after us were more important. TERRIBLE WORK ETHICS. HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO WALK MY DOG.Service: Upholstery installation

I called the place for my convertible top replacement on my mustang. I am not pleased with their low attitude. All they want my money without explaining what kind of quality and warranty and so on. I rather spend a higher cost on a better customer service and good quality of service !

These guys did a great job and fast. 2011 Ridgeline headliner replacement. Looks new and quick turn around. Dropped off in the morning picked up that afternoon.Will be sure to use them again.Thank you guys!

Shane refurbished the interior of my old 93 Civic (years ago) and did a beautiful job.I'd lost a very sentimental earring under my seat and they helped me find it today (had to remove seat!) I really appreciated their efforts and kindness.When I'm ready to trick out my Honda Fit , I'll come here.

Drove my car over to get a quote, was told give him or week or two to get the materials in and he d have it done within a week of dropping it off. It s over a month later (6 weeks), he hasn t ordered anything and now saying it ll be over a month before he can get to it. Absolute joke and waste of time. Stay away, they are trash.

Very knowledgeable and informative on auto upholstery. I gave it 4 stars because the gentleman seemed a little preoccupied when I picked up my vehicle. A bit pricey too , but great work so well worth it. Awesome job , I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Took a long time to do my husband's truck 2 seats but did a great job. So I guess it was worth the wait. I would only take auto there if you do not need it for a few days.

I work there and we treat everyone's car, truck, or boat as if it was our own. I've been working for Shane Causby for over 2 years and I've never heard him talk junk about any of his customers. He is a great guy to work for. He is very honest in his work. He treats all customers equally. I've seen it.

This guy works magic!! Repaired my drivers seat in 20 yr old Porsche Boxster and now looks like new car!! And reasonable! Believe Shane when he says he can do it! I ll be going back there for additional work.

Small shop with skilled, excellent auto upholstery repair and replacement. They work on a large spectrum of cars and do excellent work. Shane is very personable and professional. You'll be happy with the outcome.

I Highly recommend this place to anyone !!I had my carpet replaced in my Toyota and was very pleased with the work they did. Very professional and honest !! Couldn't ask for a better Upholstery shop.

The headliner and door panels on our daughter's 2010 VW Jetta were falling down. We called the VW dealership and they recommended J&J Auto Upholstery in Gastonia. We live in Mint Hill so it was a long drive to get there, but so very worth it! Her interior looks like a new car and she is over the moon excited! Thank you J&J for your excellent service!
