My husband introduced me to Arandas Darrell's Garage when we moved to Gastonia. He and his family had been going there for years and the new ownership and team members were just as great to work with as all the guys they'd known for so long.They are trustworthy, dependable and don't mind showing you the actual work happening. We'll continue going to them and recommending them to others!

One of the best experiences I ve ever had at a mechanic. Especially as a young girl, these places are hard to find! Straight forward, honest, fair prices, no upselling or recommendations , quick and thorough explanations! They will 100% take care of you. I will definitely be coming back here.

I am thankful for the great service of Darell's garage. I have been welcomed warmly and scheduled to bring my car for the service. Before Darell's garage I went to another one for the same service. Finally I made the decision to stay with Darell's because the quote was reasonable. They finished on time and I was convinced that the job was well done. In the future, I will recommend Darell's garage to my friends and relatives and stay definitely with this garage where are good mechanics with great experience and good professionalism.

The service team quickly ran diagnostics on my van & communicated the issue, the repairs to be made, the timeline & cost. I ve used Darrel s for years, always trust worthy & they do great work. I highly recommend them.

Very professional so nice to be able to speak w/someone, not being on hold, and made a terrible experience with a flat tire less stressful. Also, rather than trying to sell a top-end tire did their best at getting a great tire for me at a great price! Highly recommend!

I'm glad I came to this garage, they fixed me right up and even tightened up my loose emergency brake! Good price!I most likely won't be returning to my other mechanic anytime soon. I was really impressed when I saw the TV outside on the Bible station and the scripture on the pole.3/1/24 always good service when I come here.

My car suddenly started sputtering when accelerating and randomly at red lights, so I took it to the nearby Arandas Darrell's Garage. The team there was quick to take a look at it, even on a busy Friday afternoon. They found that the #3 coil was loose and misfiring, so they switched the coils and tightened them to double check whether the #3 had gone bad or if it was just the looseness that had been causing the misfire. I really appreciated that they were willing to try that instead of just charging me for a brand new coil and installation. I'll definitely be taking my car back to Arandas Darrell's Garage for all future care!

Polite men working there. First time I went was because of AAA, one of their recommended garages in Gastonia. They called with details of work to be done, along with estimate price and completion time. Went back again with a minor problem, completed same day.While talking to a neighbor, who said it's the only place he takes his automobiles to. He highly recommends Darrels garage. I ll keep going back with my vehicles too. It s hard to find a honest establishment who is trustworthy, and not try to rip one off. Especially a female!

THE BIGGEST RIPOFF OF MY LIFE TRULY WORTHY OF ZERO STARS!Being AAA members for years, they recommended their service center, Darrell s Garage, with a 10% discount on the bill, so why not try it since it was 2 miles from home. Who doesn t love saving money?After the first AAA roadside assistance tech tapped on something near the starter and was able to help crank the truck successfully at a Food Lion parking lot, we truly thought this would be a fairly cheap fix. AAA towed our truck from our home to Arandas Darrell s garage on Tuesday based on AAA offer. According to a Hispanic male at Arandas Darrell s Garage on Wednesday morning, we were told it would cost over $1030 for a diagnostic, new battery and alternator. Not happy with their estimate, I decided to get a second opinion with our trusted honest mechanic. Apparently AAA won t cover the second tow for the same breakdown even if they initially recommended this garage which I had no idea. I believe if you pay for 4 AAA roadside services per year, you should get them regardless if it s the same breakdown.It was worth taking our vehicle to our mechanic, because our bill was only $440.23! That s right, we saved close to $580! Not a measly 10% that equates to $103.If you re looking for a truly honest mechanic, see Allen and Butch at A & B Service Center on Hanover Street. Save your money and save yourself the headache! You can thank me later!

I was driving home from a weekend trip and my car started having problems. I was hours from home by myself and no idea where I was. I took my car here and they not only found the problem but fixed it in a 3 hour time frame, they were so patient with me while I had to much anxiety and asked to many questions. They charged a fair price and explained everything to me every step of the way. They saved my day and got me back on the road headed home. Came here after the Kia dealership quoted me an arm and a leg to replace my catalytic converter. These guys did it for cheaper, faster, and with MUCH better customer service and trustworthiness. Taking my car here anytime I have issues! These guys are livesavers.

This is my second visit and it will not be my last. The stag is great, they don t try to upsell you on additional repairs, they listen and provide the best most reasonable solution. Very efficient, fast and thorough.

Prompt, professional, very affordable service was provided.It was rainy and the ground mushy. The owner might consider providing disposable paper mats to protect carpet.By the luck of the draw, my vehicle was towed here by a AAA Carolinas service provider. I will, however, return for services in the future.

My 1st experience was good ... That's why I came back a 2 nd time but this was an horrible experience they supposedly fixed power steering but my car hasn't ran right since ... I had send car back to your shop for same problem within one months time ... Job was not done good at all and problem still isn't fixed.... Will not be back again

I went in for an oil change today and saw a lot of new faces and an expansion taking place at this familiar business. The familiar faces there make this transition easy and I will continue to use their services. *****Update*******The service I get here is the very best, professional, Intelligent , prompt, attentive reliable trustworthy and knowledgeable of service needed to keep your vehicles rolling

Took my van in to darrells garage for a tune up... plugs wires distributor cap rotor and the egr valve.. also paid for a 72 point Insection. Everything was fine van felt better.. a couple months or so I look under vehicle to address a few things on the inspection sheet they gave me.. I realized the plastic in the wheel well to cover the spark plugs for water and debris is gone on both sides.. took back to them to see what can be done today. The guy at front desk looked and admitted the fault and I was told there's nothing they can do.. uh yeah there is something you can do.. order me 2 liners to replace the ones you guys ripped off and discarded without my consent.. The guy at the front desk stated sometimes the part gets old and brittle.. I told them it was not old and brittle. I explained to them I tried to do the plugs myself and I know the liner was intact and strong as ever I just felt it was too tough of a job for me so I had them change em... I told them they should've told me if they felt the liner was no good and not just throw them away without my knowledge.. he simply shrugged it off and walked away saying again nothing they can do.. I will never take my vehicle there again.. such a simple problem that could've been corrected and should've never happened.. it's like getting you tire changed and they take off the hubcap and throw it away.. it's not right. I want my vehicle put back the right way.. bad business practice to admit the fault but do nothing to remedy the situation.

My Wife and I only have 1 car. So I was looking on my phone to see if any mechanic because it would not start so I kept getting the same ole thing I might be able to look at it next week. So I called Darrels around 4:30 that afternoon and he said if I could drop it off in the morning so I did and IT WAS FIXED AROUND 3:00 THAT AFTERNOON. Absolutely Awesome!!Service: Electrical repair

This man is an angel. We were out of town buying a car and trying to find a mechanic. Darrell agreed to see the car with no warning. Then he spent an hour going over it and discussing it with us. He was so professional yet kind and caring. He also told us he does a 2 hour overview of cars where he puts it on stilts and looks at everything. He will then make a list of any problems and rank them in order along with their cost. We are coming back for this appointment. I highly recommend Darrell. I will return without a doubt!

I've been going to Darrell's Garage for about 3 years now. They have always been so considerate and transparent with everything they do. I even had to take my car in this afternoon for an emissions test and my toddler had fallen asleep in the car before we got there. They told me they would work really quite and be as quick as possible. He slept the whole way through everything and I'm a happy mom knowing he got to have his nap. Again, all because these guys know how family life is and are so kind. Definitely recommend!
