This one is the best one in all of Gastonia. They make you feel welcomed, and are pretty friendly. Compared to the one on W Franklin, these guys on S York are angels! I won't go to the other location again.

They have a nice selection parts and accessories Automotive needs. They have a nice selection of upgrade parts. And I also like there quality brand name parts and accessories. And their prices they average the same as the other quality named dealers. To me it is a great place to buy your parts. Cowboy

UPDATE: Here I am again at Advance Auto to get another battery. 252.00 later they are installing it for me. Not without issue's. But ty guys for helpingHad to go buy a battery for my car and they usually do the installation. Well he did it, but not before he had to physically and not easily remove the other one. It was so rusted out and corrosive that it took him over an hour to replace it.I just hope the cash I gave him made the trouble worth it. Thank you so much. I was working at the DC 25 plant but it just proved to be too much for me. But I appreciate everything and everyone there.

I usually go there because they're closest to me and not much difference between them and AutoZone O'Reilly's, ECT other than that Napa is my choice because they usually have what the others don't and their products are overall a little better except for car batteries Napa is the place to go

It's good a experience sometimes, but sometimes it's terrible. Looks closed after dark they forget to cut the outside lights on. One thing is they can't seem to keep employees working so have some patience if you shop there!

The people there sold me a battery for my car that wasn't adequate for make and model. Even paid warranty for it. A week ago wewent to have the battery replaced and from what my husband told me,the manager blamed their mistake on me.I gave them the right information about my car from the beginning and they were just interested in getting my money as a customer.

Stopped by store this past Tuesday around 6pm in desperate need of a fuse for my cigarette lighter to charge my phone, which was completely dead, and not knowing the streets of Gastonia, I was completely lost. I asked the two men working behind the counter if they could help me get a fuse installed, and both men flat out refused to help stating it was against store policy.. I pleaded with them to help, but they just kept shaking their heads.. Fortunately, I was able to get directions to I-85 from a near by business after leaving the Advance Auto store(Same guys behind the counter gave me false directions) and found my way home.. Next day, I went to an AutoZone where not only did the customer associate know what fuse I needed, but helped in installing it for me. Cigarette lighter works now, and I'm able to charge my phone while on the road thanks to the wonderful folks at AutoZone.

The guy who helped me with my purchase was named Todd. He was very helpful. He even went out and raised the hood of my vehicle to be sure of what I needed. Someone should give that man a pay raise. He was very polite and informative and I will definitely be back to that location in the future.

Mike is AWESOME!!! He took care of me right away and helped me put power steering fluid in and asked me to come back the next morning to keep an eye on it. He really cares for his customers. I will definitely come back to this specific store.

The general manager Michael H. is truly one of a kind! he goes out of his way to help his customers to an extent that I have not seen anywhere else in his industry. Even when I found a better price on a less quality product online, he was able to provide a attractive alternative by manipulating the store price to compete. I've never had someone go that far out of their way for me at an auto parts store before! Don't let the location deter you, if you are in need of quality auto parts, and you demand great customer service, then this is the store for you!

Good service. Had to get new windshield wipers. The employee, showed and explained my options. I chose what I wanted to purchase and he put them on my car. He also put in a new battery in my key fob. Well, that was easy peasey!

I will say the african american male who placed an order for me was super nice and helpful loved him too death. It was a FDO order that was placed and all I have asked for is for the tracking number for my order and i cant get that after spending 400.00 for the part I want told it could possibly get the part in 4 days then it changed to possibly 7 days. Corporate, the store nor customer service has any consideration for their customers.

The staff literally don't know anything about cars. I don't expect them to, but I mean... They should at least know SOME basic knowledge. One man that works there doesn't even know how to look up the correct brake pads on the computer. Smh. Other than that, the other staff is wonderful, friendly, and fast.

The associate named Tony Perez helped me so much he explained everything to me he gave me what I need told me how to use it and got my car back running perfectly and I did not have to go see a mechanic if you need help go to the advance Auto parts

If you think you will receive good customer service and help here think again. I took my battery there to warranty exchange it and Stephen, the Store manager, greeted me by say "Hey Boss." After explaining that I needed to swap my battery for a new one because this one was bad, I had bought it at the Kings Mtn. store and he could call them to get the purchase info. Stephen told me he couldn't call the other store because the return policy had recently changed and to get it exchanged, I would need to take the battery there unless I had the receipt. I explained to him that I didn't need to drive the 15 miles to Kings Mtn. He could look it up in the computer or just call the store. I knew Advance from purchasing parts over the years and that it was in the interest of taking care of loyal customers that if a customer makes a purchase at one store they could make a return at another. After all this is why parts with warranties are put in the computer when you make the purchase. Also Advance has a database system in place to help stop "return abusers," and he could just do the return and see if the computer kicks it out. He still refused to help me, only giving me excuses as to why he couldn't help. I left and went to the West Franklin store. I did the very same thing when I entered the store explaining why I was there to the Store Mgr. I wish I had gotten her name, because she was the very opposite of Stephen. Very helpful creating a loyal customer. She called the Kings Mtn. store got the info on the purchase, processed my return and I was on my way. A 100% great visit. I like Advance and I will continue to be a customer. Just not at the York rd. store. My suggestion is to go to the West Franklin location where you can get real help and not B.S.

Lisa was one of the best customer service personnel I've ever ran into. Very pleasant, answered every question I had and helped me look up everything I needed and explained the difference between the items that appeared.

Good people just takes to long to check out. Not a place to to just run grab something and get out. You always have to wait for a parts person to clear up to be able to ring you out. Which most of the time there is only 1 or 2 working.

Friendly helpful staff. Installed a new battery and gave me some information that I asked about. They also have a rewards program for earning points/dollars.
