These folks provide an excellent service and I'm glad they are there! They were not afraid to tackle an old (and custom) radiator for my 53 MG-TD. It had been repaired several times before (I'm sure) but still leaked around the filler cap. They were patient with me as it is a custom fit (not original engine) and is a structural part that supports the front of the bonnet (or hood). It now fits with zero leaks. A big atta-boy! The place to go. They also repair gas tanks. Nice!

Excellent customer service! These guys are great to deal with. The Staff is very professional answering questions and explaining what needs to be done. I am very pleased with my repair. I highly recommend Holmes Welding & Radiator.

Been working with the owner for many years and love the quality of work, and customer service couldn't ask for anything better. They offer a wide range of repairs from radiators, oil coolers, EGR coolers, plastic welding, TIG welding, and fuel tanks. would recommend first stop no questions asked.

I recently had the opportunity to take my MGB radiator to Holmes Welding & Radiator. I say 'opportunity' because, as it turned out, I couldn't have been in better hands. Mr. Holmes spent a lengthy amount of his time explaining the ins and outs of why I might be having cooling issues and that all are not necessarily related to the radiator. While much of this may seem obvious to those beneath their shade tree, wrench in hand, the truth is until you've spent time with Leroy Holmes Jr. you've only scratched the surface of information about cooling systems.As it turned out, after putting my radiator through extensive testing, Mr. Holmes said whatever problem I was having wasn't radiator related. This is obviously important in narrowing the possible issues but, for my purposes here, it's extremely important in that he could easily have suggested much more expensive actions and I'd have had no idea since I was expecting a problem. In addition, Mr. Holmes offered advice for how to move forward and offered assistance in the future as I move along in the process.All in all, this was a terrific experience at a time of stress and aggravation; they made it a smidge easier and many thanks to Mr. Holmes, Robbie, and all at Holmes Welding & Radiator. Dealing with you was my pleasure. I cannot recommend you more highly.

This is a great place for your fabrication needs. They custom made an RV bumper rack for storage. I am not a fan of the flimsy RV bumper racks that are typically available. I definitely did not want to mount anything to the bumper itself. I gave them a basic drawing and they fabricated a rack that fit the hitch receivers that I mounted to the I-beams of the RV at the bumper. It was exactly what I needed and they came through on time and on budget with the product. The rack carried a grill and coolers 2,500 miles round trip. Great People to work with on a custom project. Thank you!!

Brought an aluminium steel rim in for a crack to be welded. I was nervous but any business that can hang on in Garner has got to do good work and they were recommended by 2 people the same morning. So needless to say, they were well worth the money. There weld in my rim has held with very minimal vibration so yes I highly recommend these guys...thanks for good wor!

You can rest assured working with these folks on whatever you've got. Everything about working with them is easy; in my case it was a custom job, modifying the lower outlet on an off-the-wall old Jeep radiator; I gave them rough instructions on what I needed and they came through and did exactly like I asked. Looking forward to working with them again!

Brought a pontoon boat in to have an aluminum plate replaced and they did a great job. Did everything we asked them to, were clear and up front with their estimate and time-table, and took care of our equipment like it was their own. Would recommend anyone to Holmes Welding & Radiator.
