I was referred to them by my insurance agent for a windshield replacement. The office staff was extremely nice and professional when scheduling my appointment. The tech was communicative and called 20 minutes before arriving. He was pleasant, professional and got the windshield replaced in no time. I will definitely be referring everyone I know to these guys!

5 stars isn't enough for this place! I'm actually writing this from their lobby (return customer). Their service is top notch, I easily prefer them over the dealeship. Their techs are quick, knowledgable and friendly. They source OEM glass, and their installation is super thorough as well as being very clear what to expect before, during, and after the install.They're also super accomodating while you wait. They offered me a laptop table while I worked and they also have free drinks and coffee while you wait.Would definitely reccomend their service should you ever need it!

This is a wonderful choice for your car's windshield! They are pleasant, efficient and do beautiful work!! Would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a repair! My 2023 Chevy Traverse was "hit" by an errant rock thrown by a work truck and I had quite a ding. Now, thanks to their process and technique my car still looks new! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My first time here was a very good experience. The appointment was easy to make, staff were helpful and friendly. Waiting area comfortable and nice. My windshield was done in time and properly. I highly recommend this business.

After reading some sketchy reviews of other glass repair shops, I found this shop through a recommendation by someone online. It was very easy to schedule an appointment. The place is a little far out if you live in Raleigh and is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood in south Wake Co., but it was easy to find with GPS. Check-in was a breeze and the waiting area and the interior of the office was clean. This was my first time getting a windshield replaced, so I was expecting an all day process. My windshield replacement was finished in less than an hour. Very good results. Highly recommend.

A few months ago I had an issue with a vehicle that I thought was the seal around my windshield. I called Capital Auto Glass, and after speaking with someone there, wad informed it was in fact not anything to do with thr windshield, but that this particular year range for the vehicle had a problem with the upper cowl, causing the problem I was experiencing. It ultimately steered me to fixing the issue myself, while not generating any business for Capital Auto Glass.Until this week, when I needed to have both a windshield and side window replaced. Could not have been more pleased with the work they were able to do, the communication, worksmanship, and speed. I 100% agree with another review that said "Capital Auto Glass is the pinnacle of professionalism. Unmatched quality of service, all while being flexible with your schedule." A stone came up and cracked 1 of my vehicles windshields and took it here and everything was so easy and straight forward. About a month later our 2nd vehicle had the same thing happen and I booked another appoint here without hesitation. Great and reliable service! Brandon picked up when I called regarding cracked windshield repair and had me scheduled the next day. I was terribly disappointed this morning when a rock hit the windshield on my 6 day old car and chipped it! I called my insurance company and was given Brandon's number. Luckily he had several other repairs in the area today and was able to stop by my work within 2 hours of my phone call to fill the chip! He is fast but thorough and extremely professional. I was most thankful for his expertise today. Hopefully I won't need his services again but would recommend him to anyone and will only call his company if I need any windshield work in the future.Service: Auto windshield repair

Capital Auto Glass is an exemplar of the high standards and quality customers will receive from supporting local small businesses. I had exceptional assistance first from Lauren to set up my appointment for a windshield replacement needed on my car. She was friendly, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the entire process. She assisted me with the insurance claim details as well and made sure that I had all of my questions answered before we hung up the phone. Capital Auto Glass has amazing customer service and is very well organized and efficient business. They were able to schedule my replacement and come to my home with availability offered as soon as the next day!! Clear communications with reminder calls by the office to confirm my appointment as well as a call by the technician, Bryan, the day of helped me to plan and schedule even with the convenience of them coming to my home. Working from home, I still needed to make sure I could block out some time to be available, if needed. When Bryan arrived to do the replacement, I was greeted again with the same professional courtesy and friendliness as I had experienced when I spoke with Lauren. Bryan was incredibly efficient, was very attentive to taking exceptional care of my vehicle, and incredibly knowledgable sharing information with me about the process and reminders after he completed the installation. Capital Auto Glass is the pinnacle of professionalism. Unmatched quality of service, all while being flexible with your schedule. My installer ended up getting rained on mid-install out of nowhere and already had a system in place to ensure that not a drop of rain got in my vehicle - not to mention the amazing job he did replacing the windshield. Cracks and chips in your windshield always come at the most inconvenient times, and CAG's convenience took a nightmare and made it manageable. We have called Brandon at Capital auto class on several occasions. I drive often for work and had had several instances of dings in my windshield from rocks, debris, etc. Brandon has always come the same the day I call. He is professional and courteous and does a great job explaining what he has done to fix it. He even contacts the insurance company so that I don t have to! He goes above abs beyond to make his customers happy! I highly recommend Brandon at Capital Auto glass for all of your glass repair needs!Service: Auto windshield repair

Edited to add - contrary to their response, we contacted Capital Auto Glass immediately after the new cracks appeared, a week after installation. We have texts with the dates to prove this. I've added more detailed information at the bottom of this review to address the rest of their response.Capital Auto Glass replaced the windshield of our Kia Soul after a rock hit it and created a large crack. A week after they replaced it, 2 large U-shaped cracks appeared spontaneously, spanning the entire width, at the top of the brand new windshield. Capital Auto Glass was adamant that these were not stress cracks and would not cover it under their warranty. After a lot of back and forth, our insurance company put us in touch with Safelite who is associated with Capital Auto Glass. Safelite said there was no question that they were stress cracks and should be covered. Safelite replaced the windshield free of charge. My understanding is that the replacement cost was charged back to Capital Auto Glass.When Capital Auto Glass's representative had come out to assess the cracks in the windshield they had installed, he said it wasn't unheard of for their clients to need replacement windshields again within 3 months because of how bad the roads have gotten. I wonder how many of those might be considered stress cracks and covered under warranty by another professional glass shop, like in our situation? The initial interaction with Capital Auto Glass was great, but it was very stressful dealing with them after the stress cracks developed, and it took a lot of time and energy trying to get the defective windshield replaced. Happy to be done with them.Edited to add -In response to Capital Auto Glass saying that we took a month to notify them of the cracks - they installed our windshield 8/16/22. The stress cracks appeared the following week, on 8/24. We notified them the same day. Their manager came out to assess the cracks the next morning, on 8/25. I can send Capital Auto Glass a copy of our receipt from 8/16, and the text msgs with their manager from 8/24 to confirm that these dates are accurate.We tried following up with Capital Auto Glass several times after 8/25 to get a second opinion, because we didn't see any evidence of anything having hit the windshield. After they made it clear that they were not willing to do this, we talked to our insurance company who put us in touch with Safelite. I'm not exactly sure what the business relationship is between Safelite and Capital Auto Glass, but a Safelite representative from their main office talked to Capital Auto Glass at least twice (9/13 and 10/3) to get their input on the situation, and then Safelite set up a "network warranty" so that we could get a second opinion at a local Safelite branch. The Safelite senior glass technician determined *in person* and not from a picture that it was a stress crack, and should be covered under the warranty. He said that the replacement cost would be charged back to Capital Auto Glass through the network warranty since they did the original installation, but it sounds like that hasn't happened yet. If something hits a windshield hard enough to cause 2 U-shaped cracks to appear instantly across the entire top of the windshield, it seems that the impact site should be obvious to everyone, especially anyone seeing the cracks in person. But it wasn't obvious to us or the safelite technician or any other person we showed the cracks to. None of us saw any evidence of anything having hit the windshield.I wish I could have written a better review, especially since Capital Auto Glass is a family owned local business. I can send Capital Auto Glass (or anyone else) copies of the receipts, text messages with Capital Auto Glass, emails and voice messages with our insurance company and the main Safelite office, the 10 photos of the cracks that I sent to the insurance company, and the contact information of the safelite customer care representative who talked to Capital Auto Glass and worked on the case, to confirm the timeline and events.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Being that I am in a customer service oriented industry, personalized care and professionalism are VERY important to me. To say that I was highly impressed with the folks at Capital Auto Glass would be an understatement. It started with Lauren during the scheduling process, a very courteous and professional technician, and was completed with Steve during the payment process. They are efficient, professional, prompt, and friendly. The prices are fair and their service is valuable. I would highly recommend Capital Auto Glass to my family and friends for any auto glass repair needs they have. They 100% get my seal of approval.

Tesla Owners: Do not waste days of your life trying to get windshield and glass service at the Raleigh Tesla Service Center. Do yourself a favor and go see Lauren and Capital Auto Glass.Tesla is notoriously bad with windshield and glass installation and shipping - Lauren and her team will communicate directly with Tesla to get your OEM glass picked up and setup a time at their brand new facility to get it installed.I use Capital Auto Glass for all my vehicles and highly recommend them.

After a bad experience with another local auto glass company, my insurance company recommened Capital Auto Glass. My insurance company notified Capital Auto Glass and I received a call back from them within a short time that same day. I worked with Jamie and Laura (phone service) and Steve (service technician). I can not say enough good things about this team! They were committed to providing friendly, prompt and professional services from start to finish. They were quick to return my calls, answer all of my questions, and were very diligent to keep me informed along the way.� Steve was incredibly helpful, providing information and showing me issues he found during his initial assessment,� and how these issues would be PROPERLY repaired during the service call.� This team gave me confidence that I would receive a quality installation that was guaranteed to be done right the first time!! Superior customer service and professionalism from the first phone call of scheduling to the installation. My original installation date it rained all day, but the technician came anyways to verify they had the correct glass. They put me on the schedule within the week. Dawson was swift, efficient and clean. He didn t mind that I watched him change the windshields. They quoted me more $200 less than Safelite. I will start off by saying that I had previously used a well known auto glass installation company and to say they did a most awful job was putting it kindly! I work out of town a lot and went off of the reviews picking Capital auto glass. Lauren assisted me answered all my questions all my concerns as I told her what the other company had done she went above and beyond helping me to get the correct windshield trim and clips that the other company ruined. Brian was the technician that came to where I worked and did a terrific job, after looking at the extent of damage from the other company he was quick efficient and professional. This company exceeded my expectations were reasonable and are the picture of quality service and customer care! Thank you!!!
