I'm the daughter of one of the best master mechanics... anyone who knows my dad (50+ years experience), understands the quality and honesty and hard work he's instilled in my siblings and I. Ive installed my own engines and worked shoulder to shoulder on cars with my dad for years. I know more than the average... so my expectations of a mechanic are pretty high....When I say these guys at stameys impress me with their work ethic, knowledge and eagerness to give the customer the best deal, trust me it's true. These guys are legit the best I've met in a Long time!I almost got ripped off really bad from a dealership, multiple mistakes due to mis-communication and a lazy tech who cleared the engine codes instead of searching for the problem...took dealership 8 weeks of run around to get my car back to me.....it was a nightmare. Over a simple thermostat repair. Stameys had already diagnosed my car, but since it's a late model land rover it was required to get fixed at the dealership.Frustrated at the dealership giving me run around and saying nothing was wrong with my car, I went back to stameys and they gave me a ton of research printouts with the codes and steps to fix my car and the information that even some came from landrovers own website saying my car required a computer update, that the service manager at landrover told me wasn't real....when I took it to the dealership, I got AN APOLOGY from the service department and they even gave me a massive discount on my repair bill. They told me "...I was absolutely wronged and they were caught with their pants down....he was horrified at what I had been thru..."Thanks to stameys just caring and wanting to make things right!!!I'll never take my cars anywhere else. Thanks guys! Nice knowing there's still honest hard working people still around we can trust and truly care about their customers. Thanks again guys!!!!!

Best service in town! They have the friendliest staff and most reliable work in the area. I have used them for about 3 years now for a myriad of services and I am always impressed with their customer service, feedback, and quality maintenance. Jared is super easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable.

This last service was the fourth time they have worked on my SUV and f250. Each time the service was great. They have a knowledgeable staff and great mechanics. I trust them complety to handel all my service needs.Keep it up Stamey's

I've taken both my cars to Stamey for oil changes, but last time I was told they put 4 gallons into my 15 quart engine. I received a text follow up asking if everything was good, to which I stated I had concerns and received nothing. I called back a day later asking for clarification if I had the proper amount of oil in my car and was told they'd have to look into it and call me back. That was 3 weeks ago so I'm just going to assume I'm not getting that call. Disappointed to say the least.

Excellent service. Those guys are aall ways extremely helpful. They do all my work. From replacing broken taillights new tires, to replacing cylinders in my diesel, they have done about everything for me. I go to them any time I have an issue. Seem more expensive than other local auto repair shops. Rear brakes on my Ford SUV were over $500 per wheel. Charged me $112 to diagnose my problem and tell me that I needed rear brakes!

My wife took her 2016 Tacoma in to have her AC checked and axle bearing checked. She was charged $464 for the inspection (just to get the truck back, AC work was neither quoted nor approved) and given a quote for an additional $2600 in repairs to include replacing the catalytic converter. I ve since taken it two other shops in town and have had all issues resolved for under $1000 without needing a new catalytic converter. The truck runs great now. I have since driven the Tacoma to and from Raleigh and to and from Roanoke, VA without issue. Don t take your vehicle here because they will overcharge you for unnecessary work. I highly recommend Poindexter and Meinecke in Franklin. I have only been contacted once by Stamey (no message was left) but was working at the time.

Excellent service, experienced mechanics, had rear door locks replaced because they wouldn't open and haven't opened for years I drive a Ford F-350 they also went through my entire vehicle for a trip that I want to take. Thank you guys it's just a shame you aren't closer to my location.

Years ago Stamey Performance had a car of ours after we d had it looked at for repair estimates at several other places that estimated a major part replacement in the $500-$600 range. Stamey Performance found a $5 gasket that needed replacing, and we never had another problem with that car. Ever since, me and my entire immediate family swear by them. I ve moved away, about an hour drive, but I still make sure to take my car to Stamey Performance because they have always taken great care of us. Highly recommended.Update: Stamey Performance has new ownership, but their service and style haven t changed and they are still top notch.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

All I'm going to say is Stameys is an amazing car repair shop. The wait time is short, your car is taken inside to repair whatever is being fix on your vehicle, the repair rates are resonable, and they are so respectful.The shop is so clean there is no grease, oil, or grime to step thru or step on.I absolutely will not have anyone else touch my car for repairs, what they tell you is what needs to be done.Lastly, go one time, you will always use their service.

Great service, friendly atmosphere, and really clean customer area. They quickly fixed my toyota avalon within the quoted time and price. Saved me a trip to Asheville. Would definitely recommend this repair department to anyone who needs car service. Great experience.
