We live on a steep old logging road on the side of the mountain. A couple looking at nearby land made a turn out of a hairpin driveway next to us too soon and ended up straddling a ditch. 30� nose down. Mark from Ridgecrest. Towing showed up and was very competent, very professional and did an excellent job of getting them out of the ditch with minimal damage to their vehicle. The charge seemed quite reasonable. I would highly recommend Ridgecrest towing to anyone in need.

I had a flat tire. Completely flat, so I had to call AAA. They sent Ridgecrest Towing & Auto Services out to help me. It turned out that I had a nail in my tire. They removed my tire and found the hole and repaired it with a plug. I was charged $15.00 for that service. I was very happy to have that taken care of for me and didn t have to have my spare tire put on. Alfred and Dillon did an awesome job, arrived quickly, and fixed my problem.

Spectacular guys! These young men that make this machine work are truly amazing. In a world where young men live in their moms basement these guys are killing it!Our RV brakes caught fire coming out of the mountains and while we put it out quickly, we needed all new brakes. We also live full time in our rig and being out of it is very expensive. Giuseppe allowed us to stay in the rv at their place while we waited for parts.Within two hours of arriving they d diagnosed the problem, fixed everything they already had the parts for and ordered the rest.This is a 24 hour place and they work super hard! Austin did the bulk of our repair and we are so thankful that the fire department called them for us.I d also like to say this town is adorable with lots to do outdoors

Joe and Giuseppe are the best! Everyone at Ridgecrest Towing is wonderful! They take care of you like you are family. We had our truck at GSI , It was there for three months. They said we needed a new motor. And couldn t even get it to start. We had Ridgecrest tow it to their shop. They had it running in one day. It was out of gas! They replaced a few things and we had our truck back on the road. They are just amazing! We will be taking all of our Vehicles here from now on. And as far as Towing goes over the past 20 years anytime we call them they are always right there to get us! Thanks for everything and to everyone at Ridgecrest Towing, you all are the best!

We had a flat on our vacation up in Murphy, NC. We put in a request through our insurance and no more than 30 minutes the tow truck driver was at the door! My dad went out with him and he got the spare off, took off the flat, put the spare on, added air in all the other tires, AND he even kindly offered to put air in my sister-in-law s tires. All of this was completed within an hour after the request was put in! I highly recommend this company for any service!Service: Tires

Truck overheated on the big hill SB on 23 just north of Franklin pulling our 5th wheel. Called Ridgecrest for a tow to the top of the hill. Truck was there within 30 mins. Driver was very professional, and charges were reasonable. Allowed me to complete my trip back to Fl without damaging my engine. Now I just need to replace the 3 month old Chinese junk fan clutch.Service: Car towing

I've been a professional driver for 25 years. I've got 2.3 million miles accident free. Even the best of the best can get themselves in trouble. Mark came to save me. He was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Great communication skills !!! Got me out of a bad situation with a truck. I'm holding back on posting pics for my own ego. I would highly recommend this company!! Of course I'm not happy with the cost of my mistake. It was well worth it to have this gentleman come and save me!!!

On our very first night in Franklin, way up in the mountains, we woke the next morning to find our car would not start. Stressed, as we may as well have been on a desert island, Larry at Ridgecrest Towing and Auto was our knight in shining armor. He arrived so quickly and immediately went to work on diagnosing the issue with our battery. He not only took the time to explain the issue but showed us physically the area that caused the battery deterioration. He wanted us to be informed about our decision on what to do and went into detail to explain. It made understanding so much easier. He went above and beyond and making sure we were care of through entire process and further explained how he made the connections and battery even better. Larry got us back on the road fast and stress free. Thank you!!You can bet we have Ridgecrest as our go to service for any Auto needs.

The guys here were as helpful as they could possibly be! This is an extremely rural area. The starter on my vehicle went out when my three kids and I were out exploring waterfalls and the beautiful mountain scenery. We were about an hour from the resort we were staying at. The guys made sure that we not only got the car off of the mountain but also my kids and me. They even arranged a ride for us to get back to our resort and back to the vehicle when it was completed. They took the time and extra care to call a flatbed as to not damage my vehicle. We had to extend our vacation a couple days longer due to it being mid day Saturday and nothing being open on Sundays down there. They started on the car as soon as they opened, ordered a new starter, (which came in the next day) and got us back on the road to northern Indiana as soon as possible. The whole ordeal was awful being 9 hours from our actual home. There are very few rental cars available in this area and no Ubers or taxis. Even the rental places around were already closed for the weekend. No one ever expects anything like this to happen, especially on vacation, but the guys here were very helpful and caring about my situation. I had never been in a position like this and the overall experience was a total nightmare. I felt like they really took care of me and my kids and did everything they could to make it bearable. Called on the Sunday to schedule an appointment to have my car towed the next day (Mon). The operator "couldn't" let me schedule the pick-up for the next day to avoid on-call, weekend rates. She advised me to call the next day, so I did.The gentleman who answered the following morning was very helpful. He was able to find my car with minimal directions and with the online payment option I was able to pay while at work. When I got off work, my car was at the shop and diagnosed. I appreciate how smooth the transaction went.

I had my car break down on me. I called AAA and they put me in touch with Ridgecrest Towing. Within 10 minutes they showed up and towed my car to their shop. The driver knew his stuff and was very kind. Joe jumped right on my car and recognized several cooling problems. They immediately acquired the parts and fixed it. They were unbelievable in their professionalism and quality workmanship. I was thrilled the way they handled the whole episode. I Would highly recommend them.Services: Engine repair, Car towing

On October 29 my wife called several companies to see if we could get our small car pulled out of a ditch on the side of a drive way where we were staying. The drive was very steep and slick with rain and fallen leaves. We had slid off the the side of the drive the night before and were stuck. Several of the companies we called were unable to help due to high demand. Ridgecrest actually redirected one of their trucks to assist us since my wife explained we had a long drive that day. They were very understanding and helpful.When John, the driver of the truck, arrived he was courteous and efficient. He worked to get the car back on the pavement and get us on the road as quickly as he could. He did a wonderful job getting us out of a very tight spot. I would recommend Ridgecrest to anyone needing assistants while in the Franklin NC area.BillService: Car towing

These guys were exceptional. I ve been a police officer for over 20 years so I ve seen a lot of cars towed. These guys were among the best I ve seen. My truck broke down in a not so great spot. They got it loaded quick. And got there over an hour earlier than AAA s estimate. After they towed it back to my cabin they helped me trouble shoot it and now I m pretty sure what I need to do to get it fixed. Since I m not from around here they even recommended a few local mechanics if I can t get it running. I couldn t be more pleased with them.Service: Car towing

I can t begin to say enough good things about Ridgecrest Towing! Not only are they a locally owned business that has been very successful through the years, but the employees are professional, very knowledgeable and always remember me by name when I return to the shop. I have used them through the years to tow cars over 150 miles, they have towed my RV twice and I will continue to use them as my preferred shop within 50 miles of Franklin North Carolina. Our Hummer H2 had a flat, caused by a nail. After a very long drive up from Florida, we had no idea who to call to fix it. Triple AAA sent Ridgecrest Towing. They came in 30 minutes, and this gentleman was wonderful! He repaired our tire in no time and got us up and running to enjoy our vacation. Wendell is the best! Prompt, professional, knowledgeable and helpful! Called AAA for a lockout and he came right away, was in my car in minutes and even gave me a battery for my key fob. Excellent service, highly recommend.

We were on vacation in Franklin, NC and we had our car packed and ready to head home to SE Missouri, when we found our battery was dead. We were in a very remote cabin with a very steep, rough driveway several miles off the main road. We have AAA and only about an hour passed from our initial call to AAA until the service truck came up the drive to help us. The two young men were very polite and we had a good conversation with them while waiting to get our battery jumped. He tested the battery for us and advised us to get a new battery before we headed home. Thanks for saving the day with such great service and kind employees.Service: Battery

Cannot say enough good things about Ridgecrest towing and auto . We were traveling to Franklin with our diesel truck and camper when our check engine light came on and we were losing power . Called Ridgecrest on a Saturday morning they were open .They quickly diagnosed problem and got it fixed in record time . Mark is hands down, the best!! He immediately called me when my insurance company contacted him. He called & made sure I was warm & safe until he arrived. He was so sweet & very caring. He never got mad that it took so long (my car is something else! Locks but doesn t unlock?) I highly recommend sending him out. He is AMAZING & his sweet little puppy. Thank you so much. Home finally with my kids!

Called AAA around 10:15. Around 10:30 I got a call from the gentleman at Ridgecrest who said he was in Franklin and would be here in 40 minutes. He showed up about 10 minutes early, had me jump started in 30 seconds and was very thorough - making sure we let it run a little bit - turned it off and on again so we know it would start. Under promised and over delivered! A rarity these days from a tow service.

I can't put enough stars for this place. We are from Cincinnati, OH and we're visiting Franklin for a vacation, our water pump broke entirely while we were out and we had to have the van towed to Ridgecrest in Franklin. This job was labor intensive and Giuseppe fixed it within a day so we could get home. They also gave us a very fair price as my home mechanic says he would've charged us more. We are very pleased with the service and very thankful.

We broke down on the Saturday before Labor Day. Everyone was closed but Ridgecrest. They got to us quickly, and even offered us a ride. To top it off, they worked on Labor Day to get us back on the road AND they charged a very fair price. Had to have our vehicle towed for the first time since we moved here. We used Ridgecrest and could not be happier. The driver, Jen, was polite, professional and quickly got our vehicle hooked up and got us off the side of the raid and back to their shop. The repair was made quickly and cost a lot less than expected. We definitely use them again if the need arises.

Ridgecrest towing & auto service got me out of a huge bind. Heater core hose busted and left us stranded over our vacation. They got us towed and the vehicle up and running first thing the next morning. Excellent service, great prices, and very prompt. Saved the day and got us back on the road safely.
