Excellent CommunicationFirst time using Ridgecrest. They were quick to diagnose the problem so we set an appointment for repairs. Finished quicker than expected so there was a reduction in cost compared to original quote. Appears great quality work performed in a professional shop. Will be using Ridgecrest again. Thank you to Zeus for displayed integrity throughout repairs.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO RIDGECREST AUTOMOTIVE.I took my truck to get serviced for two problems, it was grinding when taking a RH turn. Also, it would shake if you hit a hole a certain way; however, this was uncommon. After I dropped it off, they called and told me what they thought it needed. The list included upper and lower control arms for both sides, a wheel bearing, ball joints, a sway bar end link, and an alignment. I asked what it would cost, his said his estimate was $1,925. I told him to go ahead and fix it, to which he asked if I also wanted him to go ahead and order me some tires. I declined seeing as I was already paying almost $2,000 at one time. The next day they called me and told me to come get it, my balance was $2,000.88. The only thing I liked about Ridgecrest was they did give me a cash discount. I could not get my truck at the time so I just got the keys. As soon as I picked my truck up that night, I knew something was not correct. I was making a rattling sound like something was loose. It was not making this sound when I dropped it off. They left a bolt loose on one of the control arms, which I found as soon as I crawled under it. They never fixed the grinding either. I dropped it off the next Monday and told them what they had done. They went over everything and done another alignment, because I knew it wasn't in alignment if the passenger side had slack in it. They also tried to find the grinding again, which they thought they had fixed with the wheel bearing. Once they had "fixed" it this time, it done the exact same thing, nothing changed! It still sounded like something is loose and rattling. I took it back again, and had the owner ride with me to show him the sound it was making and to show him the grinding it was doing. He agreed and said something didn't sound right and that he would take another look at it. Today I got a call, and they said it needed tie rod ends and ANOTHER ALIGNMENT which was going to be around $580. They also said they did not know what the grinding was.IN SHORT, I dropped the truck off with two problems and left with two problems and 2000 dollars less. I do not recommend taking your vehicle here.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have AAA and when my car wouldn't start it was towed to Ridgecrest and they installed a new alternator and battery. Three weeks later my car was making a strange noise when the steering wheel was turned and the steering wheel vibrated. Again I called AAA and was towed to Ridgecrest. They put in a new pressure switch and pigtail. I got my car back the same day. great mechanics and such nice people. I would recommend Ridgecrest to anyone. The environment is is friendly it's like a big old family in there there not out to steal all your money but they have to make money also. They always get me in when I need help. Truly a great place personable and the mechanic even talk to me about my vehicle. If you'd ever have a problem what's your vehicle go see Zeus who is the owner. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else again.

We moved to Franklin last year. I ve used Ridgecrest Automotive twice. Once for a 4 wheel alignment, which was perfect & they perfectly centered the steering wheel which drives me crazy if it s not. I recently took my truck in for a 4 wheel disc brake job where I supplied all the parts. They put the new rotors & pads on and flushed & changed the brake fluid. My old Ridgeline drives like brand new again. Great neighborhood shop. I like it s family owned too.

I grew up as a 50's hot rodder and as such I do a lot of my own repairs, however when it comes to a major problem I always depend on Zeus. Took my car to new life automotive a couple times for a fluid smell coming from my car and overheating issues. New life kept my car for days on end and did nothing but tell me it was normal?!After taking it to ridgecrest they were able to diagnose the issue in a matter of 30 minutes! Schedule me to bring it back to fix it and haven't had any other issues since.All the folks at ridgecrest were overly helpful and great to deal with.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place is great with the best service and staff around. In from out of town and broke down at the entrance to Wayha Bald. Someone stopped to help and called Zeus for us. Not only was he there to pick us up quickly he s a really nice guy. Got the car back to his shop around 4 he was right on it figured out the problem. All while his wife Tiffany was on the phone trying to get a rental car for us and her mom actually went and stood in line for us. What could of turned out a total disaster was far from that. We met some really nice people had a great and fair mechanic work on our car and had no problems with it on the way back home. I just can t say enough good things about this place.

Have had work done by Zeus several times in the past. Diesel, front end, tires, and nail in tire. All work was done expertly and with quality parts. I am taking my Jeep in now for an oil leak that came after warrenty work done by a Jeep dealer in Louisville.I definitely recommend Ridgecrest Auto (not the one up the street) to work on your vehicle.

On Christmas Eve my five children and I were driving from Mobile, AL to Gatlinburg, TN and broke down in Franklin, NC. James from Ridgecrest was sent by my roadside assistance and he came out in the middle of a storm which turned into snow to try to jump the car but was unsuccessful, tried everything he could think of with no success-- Understanding how scared I was, he took it upon himself to call an Uber to get us out of there safely and to a hotel nearby and promised he would have the car towed to the shop he worked at the day after Christmas. He kept his promise and towed it first thing the morning of the 26th to the shop, they had it done and ready to go by December 26th at midday. Jeremy was kind, kept me abreast of everything going on to ease my mind while they worked on it and sent me on my way with a perfectly working car. No way to repay their honesty, kindness and good work.Thank you Jeremy, thank you James, thank you to all who work here.

This is a Full Service Garage and Towing Service in the Community of Savanna between Dillsboro and Franklin, NC. A friend/ Student at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee had her car towed in and repaired much less than the local Dealership would cost. I plan on using them for the next time I have a problem with our car.

Took my car to get fixed. I paid. The car died 10 miles later. They "fixed" it again. I paid. It died right there in the parking lot. They said NOW they fixed it again. I have to pay for a 3rd for the same thing. I will never take a car there again

Spent over 2,700 with Jerry and my daughters car died and needed a new engine. If he would have been honest about the problems or knowledgeable enough to diagnose the problems correctly, my daughter would still have a car and we would have not thrown away close to 3000!
