Fast , efficient, friendly and fair pricing. Everyone is family @ Fahey s. John, and the entire staff made my visit today the best experience I ve had at an automotive shop in my entire life . As a woman , I feel very anxious at car repair shops , not knowing much about cars , John explained in detail pricing , labor and parts to me , they even picked me up and dropped me back home so I could finish my work for the day while the repairs were being completed. :) setting the standard for customer service !I cannot recommend this shop enough. Definitely made a customer for life . Support local!

Overcharge an arm and a leg after you do a good job with standard workmanship. The highbeam is dysfunctional after your work. You left the cover out of the headlight assembly sitting in the front seat. Poor terrible quality workmanship but your adament on acquiring your overcharged unreasonable labor cost. Disappointed with trash work. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

These gentlemen are honest and capable. They will take care of your car and they will not overcharge you or charge you for things that did not need to be done. I highly recommend them

We get all of our auto repair and maintenance done here. They are friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. On more than one occasion they have saved me money on what could have been more costly repairs. Work is done quickly and correctly and they are great at communicating with the customer. Highly recommend.

If I could rate this shop 10 stars I would. The Family who runs the business are the most wonderful People you could ever meet. They were professional and so helpful. They actually stayed past closing waiting for my part, and installed it immediately. The cost was a third of what the dealership wanted, and they took me immediately, the dealership was a 2 week wait. I am so grateful for Fahey, and will tell everyone!!Services: Electrical repair, Auto brake repair

I m so glad I found this shop! I have a 2001 Outback H6-3.0 that is a great car but it had a few issues that needed someone with the skills and experience to do them. After one repair I felt completely confident that this was the place! Our Outback is running great and now ready for road trips again! I give Fahey s a 100 percent recommendation! The real deal.

First experience but seemed to be great service and great people. Personally, I think this might be one of the best if not the best mechanic in the area (area being NE GA). Have had a HARD TIME finding a good honest mechanic in the Clayton, GA area. First impressions of Fahey's was positive. Will plan to try again when our other car needs work.

GREAT place , friendly and affordable. Father went to get his head light changed last night (Dennis) he was traveling back to GA and They were already closed for the night but he opened up his shop and helped ,he also found other things wrong with his car and fixed those on spot as well. Have never felt so at ease with a mechanic EVER. Their customer service was outstanding!! 10/10 would recommend

Traveled to the Franklin, NC area for one of our mother/daughter trips and unfortunately mom had some car trouble on the way that we needed to get checked. Called one shop but they did mostly tire work and minimal auto repair. The person we spoke with highly recommended Fahey s Auto Repair. He said they were trustworthy and who he uses for his own repairs he can t do. We called and spoke with Allan who got us in that day. After running the diagnostic, he was able to confirm she could still drive it home safely and wait to get the repair done by her normal repair shop. He helped put her mind at ease so she could enjoy the rest of our trip. Allan was kind, generous with his time and honest about the issue which we so appreciate!! When we return for our next visit, should we need auto repair Fahey s is definitely where we would go!! Thanks Allan and Fahey s Auto Repair...hope y all enjoyed the pecan pie

I just moved to the area and am so grateful to have found this wonderful place! Everyone here is kind and knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Subarus. My wife and I were traveling recently, over Memorial Day weekend, when our Forester's dash lit up like a Christmas tree. All kinds of transmission, traction control, ABS, lights. You name it it was on. We had driven by Fahey's earlier in the trip, so I remembered them and we took the car in. Great service, read the codes, diagnosed it, even called our local Subaru dealer back home in Florida and advised them what he found and that we were gonna be taking it in to them. Drove the car, made sure we could make it back home with it, provided us with a copy of the extended transmission warranty paperwork, just bent over backwards for us, and never charged us a dime. Outstanding service, very thankful to them.Unfortunately for the Subaru, that was the last time I intended to hear "its a Subaru thing" after having heard it several times already, so we had the Subaru repaired and we now own a Toyota.

Talk about excellent service!!! My experience with Fahey's Auto Repair was extraordinary. While traveling alone from Florida to Tennessee, my car developed a major problem. It was my very good fortune to have this happen at the exact time I was driving by Fahey's. Not only did John Fahey get the parts and repair my car within 24 hours, his wife Debbie made arrangements for me to have another vehicle to drive, stored the frozen food in my cooler, watered the house plants I had in the backseat, and recommended a hotel! In addition to being great mechanics, Fahey's goes above and beyond being great people. Franklin, NC is fortunate to have such a wonderful business in their vicinity.

I recently needed an engine replacement done on my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe. Being that my car is only 3 years old this was highly unexpected. The people at Fahey were provided a timely estimate, the final price was consistent with the estimate, and I ve now been driving the car for 7,000 since the engine was installed with absolutely no issues. I highly recommend these people for both their integrity and workmanship.

I would not recommend this shop to women. My fiance brought my Subaru here for a specific issue and they did a great job working on it, expensive though it was. She was then given a laundry list of work that needed to be done, she was told that they were fairly urgent matters and she was quoted for some of that work. There was then a disparity between the way they spoke to her and I, and that piqued my suspicion. I brought the car to 2 separate mechanics and without telling them why, I asked them to verify the measurable information EX: break pads, moisture content in brake fluid etc. Only 1 item from the list checked out to be true. Again, they did great work, but there was a large enough body of evidence for me to hypothesize a lack of integrity.

We were traveling through Franklin, NC on a Saturday, on our way to Tennessee, when our Subaru Forester started to act up. Another local man told us about this shop, and as luck would have it, John Fahey and his wife were working that day. Mr. Fahey did a diagnostic computer check on the engine, drove the car, checked the fluid levels and gave a steady stream of advice. In the end he only charged $3 to top off the oil and wished us well since, as he said, he "only went for a ride." We left with our minds put at ease and our hearts grateful to have found a good human being who also happens to be a good mechanic.

I brought my 1995 4Runner here for a cracked gas tank replacement. Unfortunately, my driveshaft was bent during that repair and the new tank was still leaking gas due to poor workmanship sealing the fuel system. Altogether, the cost of fixing the work done at Fahey's was about 1k out of pocket.The reason I still give this shop a 4-star rating is because I called up Fahey to explain the situation and he promptly covered the entire repair bill for the driveshaft AND fired the tech who botched it. If nothing else, John Fahey has a lot of merit that can't be said of a lot of other mechanics out there in my experience. I appreciate that.

Nice folks and easy to deal with. My wife took her Subaru there for service now that the dealer freebies are done. Lot closer and less costly than what they wanted for the same thing. We found our new service place. Thanks.

My "check engine" light came on my Subaru with 190,000 miles on it, 120 miles from home. That always concerns me! I had passed Fahey's Auto Repair so I knew he worked on Subarus. It was Saturday evening and knew it was unlikely that anyone was there. John had posted his phone number for emergencies so I called him. He turned around and headed back to the shop just to check the code for me so I would know if I could make it back home. That's someone who truly believes in service and I will not hesitate to bring my Subaru to him. Thanks, John, for a making a difference and giving me peace of mind.

Don't use this shop!!! They claim to have rebuilt our engine and didn't do it. Gave us one ticket and took over $900 then filed with insurance company for over $2000. The car is doing the same thing that it has been doing. Nothing changed at all except we are out of money.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

While traveling from Asheville to Atlanta on the afternoon of 12/23/19, we had serious car trouble as we were passing through Franklin. Power Steering went out along with a host of dash warning lights.Fortunately, we were within a mile of Fahey's and stopped there.Although the crew were very busy, one of the guys dropped what he was doing and took time to check the car. He quickly determined that the alternator had gone out and located a replacement at the local parts store. They had the car up and running the next morning and did a full courtesy inspection as well.Given our holiday plans and the need to have our car for travel, John and the crew at Fahey's saved our Christmas Eve.

Honest, professional service. They don t take shortcuts and are highly qualified, reliable mechanics. No upselling. My dad and I both take our Subarus and Nissans there and have had nothing short of excellent experiences.

Professional and honest work in a friendly environment. John has provided service to my cars for several years and is always available to advise , diagnose and repair only as needed. Provides options and costs without pressure. Plus,. they are dog friendly : ) ,

Amazing Mechanics!!!!! John found a great used transmission for my 98 subie impreza and my car is purring along. Alan Will and John are great and very honest and wonderful. I made the trip from Athens GA to take my car for their service. My car means a lot to me and they took great care to see that my car was serviced in a timely manner. I will be taking my car to them for all repairs. It is hard to find honest mechanics that know what to do with a Subie but these guys ROCK!!!!!

Was referred to John by a local locksmith. Unfortunately, he couldn't preform the work I needed done (I needed some really odd ball programming done to a Saab which requires some very exclusive equipment). John checked to make sure that he was unable to do the work. He didn't ask me to come in and charge me for a diagnostic when he knew he didn't have the tool needed and then he took the time to find me someone he thought could correct my issue. He could have easily gouged me for a couple hours diagnostic work or simply said he couldn't help and hung up! But he did neither. He listened to my situation and then referred me to someone he felt could help me. He didn't need to do that, but he did. I can't speak to his work, but my guess based on his professionalism that it is top shelf! I would definitely recommend giving Fahey's a shot. My guess is you won't be disappointed!

These guys are awesome - they know Subarus - they even order genuine Subaru parts for people who do their own work - they even know about the Subaru Tick Noise on my $300 Outback ! awesome Crew and awesome honest people !
