With mixed feelings about my experience with Carolina Junction Power Equipment Inc is related to the actual Service to my lawn mower and the customer service I also encountered.I would have selected the rating to be 5 stars if the customer service experience was pleasant. Although I had to wait several weeks for the service to be completed, I understand as parts had to be ordered. I was impressed with the notification and the overall work that was completed. This was my first visit as a customer, and I also looked at the Club Cadet riders I would like to consider one day.My wife picked up the mower for me, and I was surprised to see the handle to the mower was not the same as when I dropped it off for repair. What I learned is the mower I have been using for over 4 years had the handle installed incorrectly when the new mower was purchased from a hardware store.I was amazed the male employee assisting me let me know within the first sentence he said was "I do not know what I am talking about." I found that offensive and set the stage for a poor experience. When I began to explain what I was trying to understand, the male employee was so discussed with me speaking, he turned around to go back in the building leaving me in the parking lot. I had to let him know as he was walking away I drove 45 minutes from a nearby city and I needed him to collaborate with me. I was not ever rude to cause such behavior.When the male employee realized I was not even aware the handle was not installed correctly from the very beginning, and I did not know my mower had the ability to accelerate or decrease the speed of the self-propelled feature. Lastly, I will recognize the male employee apologized for his behavior before I left.It was 8:05 am when I arrived and I was his first customer. I Also understand the owner is aware of my need to understand more about why my mower was returned with changes made that I did not request.I hope I can convey the importance of listening to your customers. I was made aware I do not know anything about the mower, but I can say I have over 40 year experience working for a world wide corporation, retiring as VP for the company. During this time, I did learn how to be a professional and nice to my customers. I also would have thought since I worked somewhere who purchases mowers from Carolina Junction Power Equipment Inc, I may would have been treated with respect.Therefore, the employee who took care of me may be the best at mowers, but he needs to be trained on how to be a professional, a good listener and remember the importance of his customers.Good day

The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. They definitely don't like brands they don't sell, but why should they. Their equipment is top notch, I can't afford it but that's not to say they're overpriced. They just carry very high end products. I have only been there a few times to my my lawn equipment serviced.

Although it was the busy time of the year, a minor annoyance with the power steering on the old John Deere farm tractor prompted me to bring it in for--per the prognosis--servicing of an easily accessible hydraulic valve. About five or six weeks and $3,600 later, I picked it up and had to return it immediately because the hydraulic fluid was flooding out. The offer was made to start all over, completely tear it down again and replace, at the normal hourly ($95) rate, the parts just replaced. With that being given as the only solution, I was able to get it loaded back on the trailer before the last of the hydraulic fluid ran out. I carried it to a regular, knowledgeable tractor mechanic who took care of the problem quickly and at minimal cost. None of the staff employed at this establishment offered to help an old man with one good arm load and chain down the tractor. One star is selected, as the screen won't post with zero stars..Everett StilesSir: Yes, the part was self-ordered and took a week or longer. However, rather than the part being defective, a seal was inadvertently not installed. The only conversation when picking up the key was telling your employee, very quietly "please tell your boss I got a bad deal". With due respect, if you were told the staff came out, that is not the truth.

Can't even remember how many items I have purchased and had serviced with this company. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Always buy from dealer that will working on your equipment. They are efficient and professional as well as honest and courteous.

Bought a mower from them two years ago. Decided I needed a different type mower and found it on their website. Left a request to contact me with no return email or call. Spent $6,000.00 last time. Guess it wasn't enough to warrant a response.

Carolina Junction is a great local source for all power equipment needs. Their service is great and the selection and variety of power equipment and accessories is hard to beat. I highly recommend them, especially if you want one of those screaming side by side machines!!! Anytime I've needed something they didn't have in stock, they either ordered it or transferred it from their other store and I had it next day! Great people to work with!

The folks at Carolina Junction really came through with some service issues I was having with my Cub Cadet. After placing a convincing phone call to Cub, a new, no cost transmission was ordered and on its way to be installed on my machine. The service was great and everyone was very helpful. Carolina Junction is a great place to do business, with outstanding people. No doubt I will buy again when the time comes.

I hardly ever bother to post reviews, but I feel strongly about this one. I dropped my rototiller off at Carolina Junction for repair nearly a month ago, and I am still waiting to get it back. Today they told me the parts they need are on back order, so the wait goes on. I have been calling once a week to ask for a status update, and they did not tell me the situation until today. I hate having to nag, but they didn't investigate until I prompted them. A little proactive communication to let me know would have helped. If I had known it was going to take so very long, I probably would have purchased a new tiller. As it stands, at 4000' elevation, it's probably going to be too late for me to start a garden this year, plus it's going to cost me over $100 in the end. Maybe next year. :-(

Came in to see about a lawnmower, Barry explained the differences between the different models, I found one that was right for my lawn. He didn't over sell me, recommended one that has been perfect for our needs. Couldn't be more satisfied. Love the fact they have a great service department. AWESOME STAFF!!!

Purchased a Cub Cadet zero turn mower. Everyone I interacted with were professional and responsive to my inquiries about the mower. Great " home town" store. Delivered my mower in one day and the gentleman went over the mower operation with me. This will be my go store for all my lawn and outdoor power equipment.

I stopped in with a chainsaw that needed some work. They repaired it while I waited. They also sharpened a couple of blades. They are very knowledgeable about their equipment and reasonably priced. I will certainly shop here in the future

Very friendly and knowlegeable staff. All top of the line products... including ATV's, mowers, trimmers, parts and sprays. Service Center gives accurate estimates and excellent work. Pick up and delivery of large mowers is prompt and at a fair price. They will be our "go-to" place for the foreseeable future.

Excellent service overall. I took my UTV side by side in because it would not start. It was not a brand they represented but fixed it anyway. I also brought my Husqvarna chainsaw in because it would start but not run. They got it going also. Both the UTV had recently been in for service at other locations. Carolina Junction is the place to go. Before a left their shop, I bought a STIHL battery operated chainsaw. Thanks!

They were supposed to replace deck belt and drive belt on my rztl cub mower but they just replaced drive belt only and replaced my blades that I didn't authorize them to do cost me another $56.00 The blades didn't need replacing .I think the world of Barry but he needs to listen to his customers! I have done business with them for years. but this was wrong but nobody wanted to make it right so I guess I will have to find another shop to do business with...

I recently moved to Franklin, NC and bought a property with over 4 acres with quite a bit of slopes on it. I knew using a push mower wasn't going to cut it so after doing a web search of the nearest power equipment dealer I headed over to Carolina Junction Power Equipment. I showed the salesman some pictures of my property and some of the slopes and asked him for some recommendations because I knew I would need a mower that could handle the property. He recommended a Husqvarna GT54LS for its 54 inch cutting deck and its locking differential (which means it can climb hills). He gave me an excellent price price for the tractor and a Sthil trimmer combo and they also delivered it free of charge. Fast forward five months and I had a slight problem with the tractor the drive belt was defective and failed and left my tractor stranded in the middle of my property. I called Carolina Junction told them my problem and they came and picked it up fixed it and had me back mowing within 24 hours! Everything was covered under warranty so it didn't even cost me a dime. I will definitely be using them for all my future power equipment needs.
