We've used this place as our mechanic for the last four years. We're so thankful to have found a reliable mechanic!There is sometimes a bit of a wait, but if it's an emergency, they're good about working you in.The employees are all very trustworthy and helpful. They have been very honest with us as far as what is going on with our vehicles.We've told many of our friends and family about it, and now they are customers as well. I highly recommend Extra Mile!

Chris at extra mile definitely definitely lives up to its name he definitely went the extra mile I came in unannounced pretty much with a bad alternator truck was about to leave me DOA and he got me right in I know there had to be people in front of me it's Friday and got me right in and within an hour and a half he was calling me back to come pick up my truck and under the estimated price is all he charged me I can't be more happy or more excited to pass on the good word that there is a good mechanic in Forest City North Carolina I will definitely be returning

While on vacation in the mountains, my car decided to have some serious issues with the exhaust system, to the point it was just about non drivable. After taking it to THREE other places that couldn't do anything with it (an Audi if that tells you anything ) , we brought it to Extra Mile. I dropped my car off, but hadn't budged, I was absolutely stressed out and just sitting in the rental car with my head in my hands. Chris pulled up to the shop and approached the car window, and after talking to him, I knew it'd be ok, and it was. He seemed to be very sincere when talking with him and seemed like he genuinely cared. He had my car fixed in a couple days, and I was able to get back home to the beach, 5 1/2 hours away, with no issues! Thank you so much to you guys at Extra Mile! Thank you, Chris! You were literally our saving grace! Thank you, thank you, thank you And thank you a million times over!

My friend recommended Extra Mile when I thought I needed my brakes replaced, which turned out they only needed to be realigned. Chris is super nice and I will definitely be using his shop from now on. I would recommend this auto shop to anyone!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Chris is open and honestly. Easy to do business with. Kept us updated on our 09 Infiniti G37. I see why he has so many customers now. Great, trustworthy service and affordable prices. Thank you Chris

I needed a new wheel bearing in my car. I travel for work and needed it done that day. I called the place and got no answer, just assumed they were closed. I also did not leave a message. About 20 mins later i received a call from them, which I thought was impressive that they follow up with missed calls. The guy said he could get it done that day if I needed it done that day. So I took it down there and went back to work. He called later and said that the brakes needed to be done, so we added that to the repair. He called again later and as promised he had it done that day. I went down there and paid for the services and left, car working great. As I'm heading home he calls me again to tell me that if I have any problems whatsoever just come back and he will look at it. I was very impressed, They really do go the extra mile here.

Chris and his crew were completely professional and polite. He called and explained each step and never left me wondering. And on the drive home I felt like my 18yo Jeep had never ran better. I HIGHLY recommend!

Finding a new mechanic is scary! We are lucky to have found this place since moving here! The owner is always very helpful and honest! We appreciate everything the employees have done to fix our cars! We highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!

Our 2007 Honda Odyssey started shuddering on a long road trip from MA. How lucky we were to pull off the highway at Forest City and come across Extra Mile Auto Repair. Chris was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Within a couple of hours Chris had fixed the problem and we were back on the road again. Extra mile should be renamed to "Extra month" because of how long they took to replace transmission was almost two months! I also spent money on a part for the solenoid and asked them to replace it. Well they didn't like the part and just flat out did not do it. Don't waste your time and money on these jokers.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Chris did a great job replacing my broken horns and identifying and fixing a battery issue. He explained what was going on, worked quickly, and charged a fair price. I would go back.

I had a muffler problem . i dropped volvo xc90 off and picke it up and the cost was alot lower than I thought. I gave them a a tip.repar shop.
