Somehow Scott and the team at Hunter Subaru made the car buying experience an actual pleasure! From the online communication, paperwork, and follow up it was a smooth ride. Literally. :) Scott particularly listened to my needs as a mother to young children and considered the needs for a safe and reliable car. While keeping in budget! I am eternally grateful to the team!!!!

Scott McDougall (accent guy) was top notch. We didn t need to buy right now, but he was such a no pressure salesman that was well informed on the vehicles that it helped us make the decision. It s a well-known fact dealerships don t want you to leave and think about it because you typically don t come back, SCOTT actually encourage that, and that was the very reason he sold us an outback today.Also, Sean with the finance side was great to work with. I would highly encourage you ask for them. Well done fellas, cheers.

I have been looking to buy my first new car for a while, and saving up. I was pretty set on a Subaru, but was not sure if I could afford it. Hunter Subaru had reached out via email during Labor Day about a Labor Day sale, and I decided to see if they would be able to beat a price from a different dealership I was looking into. Jenny helped me get set up in ordering the car and getting transparent pricing on it. I was able to get a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium with the moonroof and blindspot monitoring package for under $30K OTD, which was amazing. They gave me a quote for my used Hyundai Sonata over the phone, and stuck with it when I came to bring it in person. My sales rep, Ashley, was incredibly lovely and accommodating. I had a lot of questions and was never made to feel bad for asking what I thought were simple questions. The car was ordered and delivered sooner than expected, and they were able to get the car ready for me the day it arrived. The customer service was unmatched, and I am happy with my car! I was not pressured to do anything I wasn t comfortable with, and every person I interacted with made me feel welcome and comfortable.

Michael Perry was our Sales Associate today when we were looking for a Subaru. We went in thinking we wanted an Outback, but chose a Certified Preowned Forester Limited instead. Michael took so much time with us, which we needed to make a decision. All the staff at Hunter Subaru was friendly, and helpful. Very pleased with our whole experience. Now I have to read up on all the bells and whistles! Here is my new car in our garage.

Purchased our second Subaru from Hunter Subaru today and we could not be any happier. Our salesperson Brandon did an excellent job from start to finish and took the time to set up and explain all of the newest features on the car. The Finance manager Keith explained everything and answered all questions we had and it has really made the car buying process enjoyable and stress free.

We didn't end up purchasing a vehicle here ultimately because I wanted a very specific model of forester that I ended up finding elsewhere... I just wanted to thank Pam in sales for her help when we went in to drive different Subaru models. This is the BEST place in town to service your Subaru. Everyone I have encountered there is always courteous and friendly. Mario and the rest of the crew in the service drive did an excellent job and got my car in and out efficiently. I highly recommend the folks at Hunter and I will be coming back in 6 months for my next service.

Recently bought a 2020 Honda Fit from this dealership. Compared to other dealerships in the area, I was treated much better. I often receive different treatment than my husband during the car buying experience & I have to say I felt respected at Hunter. Our sales rep was Cameron. We called him before coming out, as we had the specific car in mind. Haggling is not effective, but that is the case most places these days. Facilities were very clean, comfortable and spacious. There was no pressure on the test drive, and they let us go out on our own. My husband is a veteran. They didn t have a discount for us, but they did give him a nice Yeti cup. Highly recommend.

I wanted to share my incredible experience with Hunter Subaru. When my 2017 Subaru Outback battery died unexpectedly while waiting for my son's golf round to finish, I found myself in a bit of a bind. Despite the late hour, Harrison from Hunter Subaru went above and beyond, riding over with a jumper box to help me out. Despite encountering a setback with the jumper cables, the team, including Vince, Jhon, Nathan, and Levi, rallied to my aid the next morning. They quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the blown fuse, and got me back on the road with a smile. Their exceptional service and warm hospitality made me feel like a VIP, even though I wasn't a customer. I'm immensely grateful to the entire team and can confidently say that my next Subaru will be from Hunter Subaru!

I bought a used car here in Jan 2024. I live out of state, so the fact that they are right near the airport, hotels, and enterprise was a huge plus. We ended up having issues transferring my plates and registration (Pennsylvania is a huge pain apparently), however the team at Hunter Subaru, particularly Scott, were a huge help. They resolved everything got me all the information i needed. They over-nighted me time sensitive items and continually followed up to make sure i received everything and didn't have any issues. I would 100% drive the 8 hours to buy a car here again!!

In all my car buying years Hunter Subaru is top notch in all areas. They are customer focused! Even service for oil changes! I love how they send a video of the inspection. Cannot say enough good things! I ll be back for my next Subaru!

This was my second Crosstrek purchase. First time purchasing with Hunter. I made an appointment with Scott. He was extremely kind and helpful. He knew just what I was looking for and made the process quick and easy. Everyone I encountered was incredibly nice and happy (a great sign of a positive workplace). I highly recommend Hunter Subaru! We just completed our third car purchase experience with them and can honestly say that we will be back for our future car needs. Brandon Nicholson, in particular, was excellent when he helped with our two recent purchases. Brandon was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful of our time. He gave us care and attention the entire time and was accommodating to any of our needs and requests. Brandon absolutely went above and beyond for us. In general, I am not a fan of the car buying experience, but Brandon made it easy and was conscientious of our schedule- he made things move quickly and got us in and out much faster than I even hoped. Again, I cannot recommend Hunter Subaru enough. If you go, be sure to ask for Brandon- I know we will again!

I bought a Subaru crosstrek from Gala and had the BEST experience. She worked really hard to make sure I had everything I needed and was in steady contact as we were searching for the right vehicle. I just had my 2023 outback serviced.It would be nice if they took the time to actually service my car instead of sending me videos while I was waiting. All 4 tires were at a different pressure and just topping off the windshield washer fluid would be a nice touch.

Bought a brand new Forester here and they tried every which way to upsell me instead of listening to what I wanted (and I was very straightforward about it). It was a 3 hour long exhausting process to close the deal because I just kept having to say no to every fee they tried to tack on. Their free maintenance service for 2 years after purchase is an absolute crock. They have very polite customer service reps that tell you all these services were performed on your car but it s a lie. They hand you a thorough list, everything checked off, but it s simply not true. The actual mechanics who are supposed to perform maintenance on the car aren t doing anything to it (or they do the bare minimum). They also won t tell you anything is wrong until your warranty expires and then you have to pay full price to replace/repair something that could have been avoided entirely if proper maintenance was done in the first place. They also removed the manufacturer s tires from my brand new vehicle and replaced them with terrible/used ones that wore down within a year (less than 12,000 miles!). Would never buy from them again. They scam you at every turn just like every other dealership does. Don t take their word for it, they have well trained customer service reps that make you feel reassured but the reality is that they re screwing you over. Get your car checked by independent mechanics. It ll save you thousands in the long run.

Just recently purchased my second car from Hunter Subaru and it was an excellent experience. I d highly recommend this dealership for anyone interested in a Subaru or other used car.Scott Laffin was my sales person and was able to complete the entire process with me. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Definitely ask for him if you don t want to have to deal with multiple people.Their parts and service department is also fair and competitively priced.Overall, a better car buying experience.

I can t say enough positive about this dealership. I went there today, thinking I might buy a car. But, also, telling myself that I wanted to look at several other Makes. I owned a Subaru in the past -was very happy. And when I drove this Forester today I remembered why. It is a great car. But, my review is not about the car. It is about this dealership. From Harrison who met me straightaway. To Brandon who went with me on test drives and worked this deal. To Michael who discussed some accessories that I had expressed an interest/curiosity about. To Trey who did all the financial and state paperwork!I would say this. They were all so spot-on knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful beyond what I imagined, actually. Best car buying experience I have had. I would not hesitate recommending this group if you are looking to buy a car. Just great folks! I will certainly share my experience with friends and neighbors.I also LOVE my new Subaru!

Wow, what a disappointing dealership. I was in the market for a new Crosstrek and was told they had great deals going on to clear out some inventory for the end of the month. I was told through text messages that I would be directly meeting with the owner, and he was ready to make a deal. I made the drive from Tennessee, a good 90 minutes away, and was told the owner was somewhere and they couldn t find him. I was also not able to speak with the internet sales person I had spoken to and made the appointment with. If you re in the market for a new Subaru, do not settle for this one.

I have bought two vehicles from here. I ve worked with Gala on both occasions and have nothing but good things to say about her and the entire Hunter experience. Gala has been extremely thorough and helpful even long after purchasing my vehicles, plus the cookies she sends are incredible! I highly recommend Hunter and Gala. I won t buy anywhere else.

Best service department I ve been to across any car brand I ve purchased. I don t live in the area, but any time my Outback is nearing a service due date I get excited for a trip to Asheville now. Love the video sent by the tech showing that they actually do the inspection, always get legitimate recommendations for service not unnecessary up charges. Great prices (considering how expensive dealerships are now), and some of the friendliest staff at a dealer.They genuinely treat people like family here, really refreshing to see them talk to customers slowly and politely rather than rushing and pressuring.

I purchased a certified pre-owned Forester at Hunter Subaru in April 2023. Two weeks later, I was involved in a hit-and-run. My car was originally in the shop at Hunter Collision Center for 3 months. when I picked it up, there were still obvious signs that the car had been in an accident (improper door alignment, gaps around the fender, improperly fitting inner fender, and a dent in the hood, just to name a few). Here we are 11 months later and Hunter Collision has yet again dropped the ball. My hood still doesn't fit properly and there are still fender and door adjustments that need to be made. I've spoken to Patrick (who's no longer there), then Jose (who replaced Patrick), then their manager Jeff. Even Jeff doesn't seem to take action until I make a 2nd or even 3rd phone call. It's like holding hands with a toddler. I'll be happy to upgrade my review after they've completed my work. But as of this moment, I'm not a happy customer and I wouldn't recommend Hunter Collision Center.(I realize Hunter Subaru and the Collision Center are separate addresses, but I'm leaving this review here because their collision center is non-responsive.)

We had a great experience at Hunter Subaru with Sales Consultant Michael Perry. We was most helpful, no pressure, friendly, professional and knowledgeable as we worked through the details of buying a used Toyota Sienna. We needed a guiding hand as we went through the trauma of buying another van. We only get a replacement every ten to fifteen years, so we need a lot of expert help in making the right decision. Michael was the person of the hour and did a great job as we negotiated the best deal for us and to get the car in a timely manner.Actually, I need to complement the entire staff at Hunter Subaru, ncluding Tony for arranging money part, and Juan Fernandas the one approving the transaction, all great to work with! Thanks! I will highly recommend Hunter Subaru to our friends in the Asheville Hendersonville area. No pictures yet! They are still working to get the car ready, but will post when we pick up the car. I traded in my 2023 outback wilderness, for a 2023 WRX. When I traded in my outback, they refused to send the pay off to the bank for almost 5 months. This resulted in the bank screwing my credit by showing 5 past due payments. I ve attempted to reach out the hunter maybe 10 times and I ve been ignored and hung up on. My family purchased 4 cars from hunter Subaru and since this issue, they have moved over to prestige Subaru! Prestige has been treating us well so far. It s up to you who you use to purchase a car, but for me, I don t like seeing my credit drop almost 200 points due to laziness:)
