Beautiful Ranch! We had a lovely stay. Troy is so friendly and accommodating. He took us on a tour of the ranch, we got to meet the animals and see the gorgeous landscape (ponds, waterfalls) and learn about the interesting history as well. It's a comfortable stay and so pretty by the creek. Thank you!

This was the 2nd time we ve visited Blue Ridge Ranch, and we love it more each time. Our family grew up in the country, riding 4wheelers, working on horse and cow farms, and just being outside. Visiting this ranch, and camping here, brings us back to our roots. Everyone that works here is so caring and helpful, and will do everything they can to make your stay wonderful. Our kids caught over 30 fish during the weekend stay, and they were excited every time they reeled one in. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful. We took several hikes to see creeks and waterfalls. My only suggestion, is I wish they offered horses to take on trail rides! maybe in the future! Our kids loved the animals, too! We ll most definitely be back!

Blue Ridge Ranch is a beautifully piece property, well worth going, if you enjoy being in nature.I camped next to the river, so peaceful falling to sleep listening to the water.Troy, the owner, took us on a tour of the ranch, so many things to explore, hiking trails, waterfalls, ponds, and farm animals to pet. They have glamping teepees too, just beautiful!!

Just got home from a weekend camping trip at Blue Ridge Ranch. It was spectacular!! Our group of five camped with a teardrop trailer and tents at the top of their hill with a beautiful view of the valley below. We arrived late and the hosts were there to kindly greet us and show us to our campsite. We got to fish in the ponds, pet their adorable pigs, and got an amazing tour of their property via UTV. Can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back again soon!!

Where do we begin to express how much we are in love with The Blue Ridge Ranch. We stumbled across The Blue Ridge last fall and immediately knew we had found a slice of heaven on earth. Troy and Nanette and the entire staff immediately welcomes us with an amazing farm tour and set us up to boondock camp in our camper right on the creek. We have been back several times now and loving the new RV hook up area. We pulled out today after another wonderful weekend knowing we will be back again soon!Dog-friendliness: Extremely dog friendly! Our furry babies love it here!

Blue Ridge Ranch is amazing! We took our scouts there for the weekend and they had such a great time they all want to come back! This is not just a place to camp, it is a place of peace. Our scouts volunteered on the property, they hiked, played in the streams, caught fish, cooked on the fire, saw the live stock, and enjoyed an amazing site tour on a huge military truck where we learned about the history of the property! The owners are amazing people that make you feel at home. I enjoyed talking and visiting with them so much! They have really created something special and we can t wait to go back and visit with them! They have an adorable camp store that sells supplies and ranch merchandise. You have so many choices of the type of camping you would like from setting up your own tent to their glamping Tee Pees. And all spots have great privacy! The cost is very reasonable for families and large groups! I saw their Facebook page and thought what a great place, but when I actually got there it absolutely exceeded my expectations! I will add they are super pet friendly and your furry friends will love it too! I can t say enough, just go visit and see what I mean!

My husband and I just spend the most wonderful weekend glamping in a pond-side teepee. It was so wonderful to have a camping experience with all of our necessities in place, including a comfortable bed, and all of our cooking and eating utensils. Got to enjoy the peacefulness of living amongst nature without having to drag along ALL the supplies ;-))The owners and staff are truly wonderful and pleasant people, and we are so grateful they choose to share this wonderful property with others! We are already planning a trip back with our two children because we know they re going to love it just as much as we did.

We visited Blue Ridge Ranch in July. While it was hot outside there were still plenty of ways to cool down. Hiking in the woods (bring your big spray!) to waterfalls, taking a dip in the stream & hanging out under the covered patio with fans. My daughter loved all the animals! My husband loved the fishing! Thank you for a wonderful visit! We will be back!

Beautiful! Breathe taking! I would definitely recommend going here! 440 acres of beautiful mountains, streams, camp sites, a farm ( you can tour & interact with the animals), trails to walk, fishing.... just can't say enough about how wonderful this place is! The owners are doing God's work for our boys to grow them into men. Absolutely best place ever!!Dog-friendliness: Bring you dogs they will love the open yardPicnic area: Firepits. Great to cook over

What a great location It was so amazing one night turned into 4 nights. They have over 450 acres, 7 hookup sights, a plethora of Boondocking places (basically anywhere you can get your rig to), creeks, stocked ponds, farm, hiking biking atv trails, fresh eggs, farm raised poultry, wood, and much much more. They also do a farm tour for $10 which I highly recommend! Their kunekune pigs are so cute and friendly. I ended up boondocking at two different locations, creekside and by one of their ponds. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area as well such as Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. But what I love most is the people there, the owners Troy and Nanette and their workers are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I can t wait to go back next year and hopefully stay longer.

Blue Ridge Ranch is an amazing place! Stunning grounds with multiple streams running through the property. Our kids love their multiple fishing ponds and my wife enjoys their cute gift shop. We ve stayed in two of their tipis and absolutely loved it. Beds are comfortable, tipis are beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We have visited multiple times and it s our go-to for beautiful scenery and wildlife.

(Marshall). This was our very first stop on our very first Harvest Host trip and to say we loved it is an understatement. The land is beautiful, their mission is beautiful, and the people just as beautiful. Troy gave us an amazing tour around the property. Such an amazing experience with a great foundation. They have an awesome variety of experiences- RV camping with water and electric, RV Boondocking, teepee glamping, overlanding, and primitive camping. Looking forward to another stop here in the future.

I spent a couple nights here with two of my sons over Labor Day weekend and I was very impressed. The Ranch is a beautiful piece of country away from it all. Whether you camp in a tent, glamp in a tipi, or bring your RV they have options for everyone. There are endless acres to explore, multiple fishing options, and the view of the stars at night is amazing out there away from the city lights. We even saw the star link satellites go over head while sitting around the community bonfire on Saturday night with other campers. The owners are great people and take time to get to know their visitors as well as share their story of bringing the Ranch back from disrepair and their visions for the future of the ranch. I would definitely recommend this place to get away from it all, disconnect, and relax with family. We will be back in the future.

Everything was so great! We did tent camping $15 a night (per person) in an open field with a creek on one side of us which was so relaxing. We put our hammocks across the creek and I could have stayed there for days it was so serene. There were many trails and ponds/waterfalls we could have hiked on the property too. There were other sites about 50 yards from us that were empty so our closest neighbors were about 200 yards away. Could definitely see them from a distance but not hear them. There was also porta potties with every group of campsites that were clean and some even had sinks with hand soap! Wifi was available at the outpost where you check in if you needed to send a quick message and they also had some jarred jams and soups that looked good for purchase. Everyone we met was super friendly. No complaints here! Hope to be back

I don t have enough words in my vocabulary that can begin to describe what this place is and means to me. I will start with peace. This place is peaceful and quiet. As my life is noisy and busy and always running. When I go the Blue Ridge Ranch everything just slows down with its peacefulness and tranquility. My happy place where I just relax. My son also loves the Blue Ridge Ranch it has done so much for his mental wellbeing and physical wellbeing. The staff is amazing Troy and Nannette are outstanding hosts and all the ranch hands are wonderful people. You can just see the joy on their face when they greet you and welcome you to camp. Camping here is awesome. The hiking the swimming and just being able to be in nature without distraction. Love this place. When I leave I can t wait to get back. So if you are reading this then Go and Go often. And by the eggs and chicken they are so awesome.

Gorgeous! Stunning working farm! 4-5 ponds, 2 streams, boondocking or hook-up spots, an awesome couple doing great things for their community and their staff running the farm. And Kunekunes! All in one picturesque spot on hundreds of acres in the mountains.Wife and I are somewhat new to Harvest Host. Picked this place to stay overnight while traveling to Boone. Boy, did we strike gold!We were one of two campers on the grounds. They put us next to a stream on the edge of a very large field that came complete with a private beach. The other camper on the property was not even in sight. We stayed two nights. Wish we had the time to stay longer. Can t say enough! Totally relaxed atmosphere! Thank you Troy and Nannette!

I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to go to Blue Ridge Ranch. If I could rate higher than 5, I would. When we arrived the detail and planning The Staff put into our trip was amazing. We are a family of 5. We had beds/linens, outdoor chairs, even down to the plates and we had 5 even though the teepee was originally set for 4. Our teepee was clean, and the detail inside was beautiful. The owners were so helpful and the hospitality was overwhelming. We felt like family during our stay. Time seemed to pass so easily there, and there was always something to do. With kids ranging from ages 6-14. I didn't even know that was possible. If you really want to connect with your Family this is the best place to do it. Having no influences from the outside world was just what we needed.Coming here is something my Family plan to do every year. Thank you Blue Ranch!!!

We have camped in an RV and stayed in the glamping teepees at Blue Ridge Ranch in both the fall and early summer. What an amazing and peaceful place! We enjoyed fishing and hiking - and discovered several waterfalls on our hikes! You must go see the mini-farm - the kunekune pigs are SO cute!Highly recommend the glamping teepees. This would be such a unique experience for those with young kids! The beds are super comfortable and the workmanship and artistry of the tepees are very cool! The scenery/ property is absolutely beautiful! We also enjoyed going to the camp store and buying fresh eggs and other goodies. The hosts are very kind and gracious. Definitely go on the property tour with Troy- it s such fun!

We have stayed at the campground before in both a tent and an RV, with their new RV hookups. But we just stayed in their overland trailer and it was awesome! It s an amazing location! I love all the space to explore! We always are looking for camping that doesn t have us sitting on top of our neighbors, and this is perfect. There are stocked ponds for fishing, and they even have a little beach area near their creek that was perfect for our kids. They are dog friendly too! The overland trailer was so unique, it s an old military trailer with two roof nest tents on a platform. It came with ice, a cooler, a grill, etc and was so comfortable for me and the kids! I highly recommend it! Next time we want to try out their Glamping teepees!Restrooms: There are ports johns on the camping side and they have a restroom in their store available on the ranch side during regular hours.Dog-friendliness: They say in their pamphlet that dogs must be on a leash. The dogs have room to explore though, and there is plenty of space for walks.Picnic area: They have lots of space and options for picnics, especially near their streams!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Blue Ridge Ranch. The Teepee was so neat and the hospitality from the hosts was 10/10. There was fresh ice in the cooler when we got there, paper towels, and pretty much anything you might have forgot to pack and/or need. There is so much to do; hiking, waterfalls, fishing, seeing the animals. It is a great place to 'unplug' from the world and reconnect with loved ones and nature. I will definitely go back!
