Gave this place two stars because if you tell them something needs to be fixed they ll fix it. But if you don t know what s wrong with your car. I recommend you go to a different mechanic. They don t have good customer service skills. And have bad communication between their customers, mechanics and front desk workers. It has been a he said she said fiasco. I had to go to the BBB and do a complaint at the commissions office. This shop has had several complaints and not just locally but with Carsheild as well. I was able to get all my money back that was wasted. And did not have to communicate with the owner again. Please scout out mechanics prior to taking your vehicles.

Had an upper control arm replaced along w/an oil change on my work truck; the price was fair, everything was done in a timely manner and as far as I can tell they did a good job.Mr.Andre (the Mechanic) seems to be a nice, fair guy.Will be using this shop again Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Andre had my car for 2 weeks free from interruptions from me anyway. I was told would complete on Wednesday. Great for me as I told him I was headed to serve a client in NY for a while. Leaving Friday early. I call to arrange pick up or delivery to be told not sure when Andre would be in nor when he could finish my last item the muffler. This is on Friday morning, the day I am to wrap many things up in the early A.M. to head north no later than 1 P. M. I had even hired a driver which was on a set time schedule. Andre and his assistant brought my car to me at 3:30 P.M. skip to my current issue... Andre has the muffler on backwards (like section B the connected section A, plus no tight connecting clamps or pins, etc.) it is hanging lower that my other that did not require changing and I've called Andre everyday this week started on Monday until today Thursday. I've text, called spoke with assistant on Wednesday ask to have Andre call me and I still have no call back or any replies. I guess I will see this group Andre in particular in court soon if no reply and resolution. This is so disappointing in so many ways of trying to support this small business of color and for what, a dollar. Trust me if I meet him in court those dollars he will regret. Please simple reply and offer to resolve like the kind young man I know you are. Please and don't have your office wife do your dirty work. Be the man in business who handles the good with the your bads. Andre is the BEST I have been leaning on him for repairs For every car I have had for over 10 Years! I trust his work it has never let me down! He is honest and a good guy. I have moved away to Charlotte now I m the Raleigh area and continue to travel back to Fayetteville because I only trust him with my vehicles!

Absolutely wonderful people. I'm so glad that I found a mechanic that I can trust. Honest hard-working people there. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else

Called said they would do it now if I could get it in. I did. They took care of the problem. No problems, no waiting just did the job. Do not let the rustic look. I think the rustic look and getting the job done is better than bright and shiny and you sit there for 2 hours before they start. I do think that he did he a great job for me. Thanks

My 2005 Honda Element alternator died halfway to an art exhibition. Driving from Durham North Carolina to Lake City South Carolina. I called most of the big-name repair shops in town and was told that I have to wait at least 2 days do you have anything done to my element. Then I called expert automotive repair and Andre said if you can get it to me I can fix it. And he was totally right! We were in and out in under three hours and I made it to my destination right on time. Thank you so much Andre for your expert skills. I wish you were in Durham so I could go to you on the regular.

So I went to buy a vehicle from Andre for a $1000.00. Ran ok but before i could get it off the lot it broke down. Andre told me he could fix it and well 1800.00 and five 1/2 months later my brand new battery was supposedly stolen and still no vehicle. So now i put a complaint on them and there refusing to service my vehicle. So now i have to spend more $ and get it towed to a different shop. Do not use this mechanic unless you want poor comunication, more money taken, and possibly not have your vehicle fixed. Best case Andre is a rip off artist that knows very little on how to fix your vehicle!! Bottom line Andre is a shade tree mechanic that ripps people off!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible experience! Had my vehicle since early Jan and today i had to tow it away INCOMPLETE. Lack of communication which I addressed in hopes that communication would better-NOPE. Horrible prioritizing of customers, poor time management and inability to know when a job is beyond his scope-which I also questioned, but was reassured he knew what to do. Sooo many missed deadlines for completion. He had no regard for the fact that I need my vehicle. TODAY, I had to tow away from his establishment bc its STILL not fixed. HORRIBLE.

My vehicle starting missing half way from Atlanta to Outer Banks. It was a nightmare stuck in Fayetteville NC! I dropped car off at x pert automotive, even though was a Sunday and they were closed. Drove a rental to the beach. I contacted them the next day and told them my situation. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Picked car up the next Monday morning on my way home. I hate to say I was worried about it because I have A 95 taurus SHO, and they are notorious for being hard to work on. My car was pretty much undrivable when I dropped it off... It's now running beautifully and I couldn't be happier with my experience here! Definitely would recommend this shop to anyone! Fair prices and awesome service!

These people are a life saver. For a weekend they took good care of me as far as my car and realizing im a single father with my one year old daughter and needed my car for work and my daughter. They took there time and really worked with me. Definitely going again when i have amn issue with my car. Lord i thank God for these people. Love the lady recipionist. She had awesome customer service

This place is the bees knees!! Andre Toodle (manager in charge) is a phenomenal mechanic! I love that he is a family man who loves his kids and understands how important it is to have a running vehicle!! Fair prices and real knowledge on cars.. He explained everything I needed to know about my car in a way I could understand. Jeff is one of his workers and is the reason I looked up Xpert Automotive Repair... Ran into Jeff at Walmart while having an anxiety attack trying to figure what kind of leak stopper to buy and he broke it down for me real smooth... Told me to stop by and they'd fix me up! I can't praise these guys enough!! I'm no longer in fear everytime I drive now. And for an 8 month pregnant woman like me that's heaven sent! Please give them a call for repairs they know what they're doing!! Thank you again!

Andre may not have a superhero's cape or super powers, but he came to my rescue last Saturday. My car was towed to a shop and I was told they could not get it to start and I would need to purchase a new engine. I declined, had my car towed back home. Andre showed up and within five minutes and diagnosed the problem. All I needed was a battery. He was kind enough to take me to purchase the battery and he installed it. My Hero!

Our car broke down 4 miles from x pert automotive and 100 miles from home. They got us back on the road given no notice in an hr. Friendly, reasonable, and great mechanics.

I ve used Xpert Automotives in the past and had a great experience. However, this round was not the case. Andre s sister used to work in the office and made my experience with Xpert Automotives nothing but wonderful. However, she is no longer there and I do not get the service I have in the past. Called Monday to have someone come out, no one showed, no call back. Called in Wednesday and left another message about needing a service call. Nothing. Today is Friday, I call in and they aren t making services calls this week , yet every day I ve called all week I have been told the mechanics are on a service call. Really wish we could have come to a better understanding, I don t like doing business with people who tell me one thing that is different then what I ve been told all week.I know the reviews are excellent, perhaps a few additional mechanics are needed, or let people know from the get go that you are backed up and not taking any calls. Don t make a customer wait all week to find out you are not coming.

The owner is honest, affordable, knowledgeable, & reliable!! He consistently provides excellent service and never overprice the repairs for my vehicles. I highly recommend X Pert Automotive Repair for any car issues!!

Very professional car repair shop with great understanding of all aspect of vehicle repair. This is the only place in the entire city where the manager actually gave me a ride to a nearby destination and didn't have to get public transportation back. I've seen other places where they will do no such thing even if you ask them.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

The first guy said that I needed a new motor. So I wanted another opinion on that. I the number of X Pert Auto Repair. He came out to my house hooked up his computer and next thing I know it started up. Not alone he saved me about $6,000 he just made a new friend and customer.

Very professional. Didn't know why my car was running slow no matter how I hit the gas it wouldn't go. But thanks to these guys. They found the problem quickly and I had my car back on the road in no time. I highly recommend.

I broke down in North Carolina on my way home to Virginia and I called x pert automotive and the lady on the phone was extremely helpful and they could get me right in. Fantastic service and great people I'm very thankful for them
