Shane fixed my AC compressor and did an AC recharge, he also gave me a diagnosis for my check engine light. Shane was able to fix my car in a couple of hours and we were good to go, the AC was cool and cold because this NC weather is hot and humid! Shane was very reasonable on pricing, good communication, and great customer service from the staff! Highly recommend and will be coming to Shane's automotive from now on!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto A/C replacement, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Shane's has had my vehicle since Dec 30, 2021. It went in cuz a spark plug they repaired caught fire. While it's been there they have said it needed a fuel pump and a starter also. All parts have been sent to them since March 2022. They have just now started work on my vehicle. Now they are saying it has more problems when they never cleaned my injectors or did a vacuum test when they replaced a fuel pump and never checked for burnt wires when it came in for a fire around spark plug 4. This shop should be shut down. They have horrible communication skills, matter a fact, for the past 15 months...all updates have been because I have contacted the shop, and even then everyone acts like they know nothing about status on my vehicle. This is the worst shop I have ever worked for or done business with. Save your sanity and time and stay far away from Shane's Automotive....they are not worth the time.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Auto maintenance

Stay away. We didn't take our car here but our regular mechanic called them to pick it up to replace oil pump which we supplied(was never even opened). Come to find out they drove car to there shop instead of picking it up. Didn't put pump on after having vehicle for 3 weeks but charged $300. Say the $300 is to diagnose problem which was already diagnosed by other shop. According to them it needs a motor which is their fault if true by driving vehicle with bad oil pump.

I have a 2015 Chevy Cruze and had multiple oil leaks happening at once! I was in total disbelief and a week from my birthday! What else could go wrong?Fortunately, I found this shop and not only were the staff friendly and AMAZING, but also finally had reassurance when my car was fixed. Thanks guys! Shane is a wonderful person. Very reasonable price compare to other auto shop. He is always available for all your auto concern. Highly recommend. Never charge or give you suggestions for unnecessary work on your car.

Asked for a quote for front and back brake pad replacement and was told that would be one and a half hours of labor for $120. Once they started working on my car they came to tell me my back brakes did not need to be replaced so they would only be working on the fronts. I was glad for their honesty..but then I got the the register and the owner(I think) told the cashier "it'll be an hour and a half labor" and they charged me $120 still even though they only did the front pad replacement and it took 30 min. My husband always tells me don't take my car to an auto shop without him because they'll get over on women..and he was right. The job itself was good, no issues after I left so I'll still give them 3 stars for the quality of work.

So happy I found these guys! Shane and his team were very professional, honest and very informative. I took my Cadillac CTS-V here after hearing wonderful things about them, I was not disappointed. They were able to find the problem right away with a solution and had me out the door not long after. Amazing prices, quality work!! Could not be happier with the service that they delivered. Also, Shane and his team are about as nice as they come. Thanks so much and see you guys in the future for any maintenance required on my cars. You won t be dissatisfied!!

I was 100+ miles from home traveling to see family the day before Thanksgiving when my alternator light came on and the battery voltage quickly began lowering. This is a big deal as the battery can quickly drain and the car lose electrical power. Who wants to be stranded on the highway for Thanksgiving? I called several places who were too busy or short staffed before the holiday in the area. When I called Shane, he immediately said to bring my car in and he would take care of me. He dedicated one of his technicians to help me until my car was fixed and I was back on the road to see family. I am extremely grateful for his understanding my predicament and taking such good care of me. Thank you Shane!

The second to last thing you want to see when you're on a 650-mile road trip and still halfway from home is a warning light for something serious. The very last thing you want to see is that light start flashing. Which is exactly what happened to us recently while heading home after a long holiday weekend. Fortunately, we followed the great reviews straight to Shane's Automotive. Shane instantly diagnosed the probably, ordered a part and had it delivered immediately, and kept us informed and updated. This was not a simple repair -- but after working on it for three hours, Shane and another of his mechanics, Mike, stayed another four hours past closing to get us back on the road. Four hours!!! And then he only charged us the regular hourly rate, which is clearly displayed in his office. I cannot say enough great things about Shane and his business, but I can say if we lived in Fayetteville -- or anywhere remotely close -- we wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else!Service: Engine repair

If you are looking for friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy service at a good deal then Shane's Automotive is the place for you. Shane looks out for the customers he does work for. He takes the time to show and educates you on what the problem is and what is needed to be fixed. He is timely with his work. The customer leaves feeling confident that the work was done right and at a good price

Honestly great. it s hard to find an honest and THOROUGH mechanic nowadays but Shane and his team were great. We went in to get our breaks and rotors replaced on our way back down to Florida. He took us immediately and we were out in an hour and our breaks are working perfectly again. Super friendly service!! 10/10

I'm from Ohio and was on my vacation down the east coast. My transfer case blew apart and left.me and my girl stranded. This guy drove an hour and a half just to get my parts. He also kept the bill as low as possible. He and his crew worked late to make sure I could get back on the road. I got my truck back at 7:30 p.m. with motel pick up. Him and his group of guys went to extreme just to make sure I got on the road. If you ever break down in Fayetteville N.C. make sure you call this guy first. He genuinely cares about his customers and helping them. They do great work.Services: Transmission, Engine repair

They fix my Honda Civic almost a month ago. And honestly I was so ready to give up... tired of mechanics taking advantage of me and just messing up my car even more. honestly this guys are AMAZING. I told them I need it my car to be fix the same day and that s exactly what they did. They took their time, they explained to me what the other mechanic did wrong, now my car is all fix. No more issues. If you re having car issues definitely bring it here. For now on this is where I will be coming to get my oil change and whatever else I need. Being from out of town we didn't know what to do when our car gave us trouble. We're so glad we found this excellent and honest shop. They went out of their way to pick up the car and get us in which was so kind. Then they did the best work at a very affordable price! We were in and out in no time and our car is up and running once again. What a relief! Thanks so much!

My daughter and I were traveling from SC to Philadelphia and the belt broke on our car. Shane got us a tow and stayed past closing and got us back on the road in a couple of hours. His charge for the repairs were more than reasonable and he looked out for us as though we were old friends. Thanks again Shane and Happy New Year!

Shane is an awesome mechanic. I have been here and my neighbor, he always tells you what is going on and straight forward, what can wait and what shouldn't. He's not there to try and take you for your money, he's there to help. Awesome service!

Very dissatisfied with the service. Went in for a service and came out with the same problem. I didn t even make it down the road before i started having the same issue again. I was told he would help me save some $$$, but I was overcharged for parts and almost for labor by Shane s unprofroessional daughter at the front desk. I was almost overcharged for 4hours of labor when it only took 2 hours for a $460 wasted job. Then he was still trying to get more money to replace my radiator!! Please save your time and money and shop for a mechanic that specializes in your specific car problem cause all this mechanic does is follow codes and overcharge.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Based on most of the previous reviews was hoping for similar experience. In short, repair was expensive($800), took a long time (12 hours to do 8 hour job) and most disconcerting, the car was not fixed.We were traveling Florida to PA and spent a night in Fayetteville to break up the drive. In the morning the clutch in our 2003 Ford Ranger would not work. Based on the reviews we had our car towed to Shanes. A full day later around 5:30pm our car was ready. Somewhere near Richmond, VA we needed to shift and it was with great difficulty we were able to get into gear. With minimal shifting we made it to our destination. The mechanic needed to redo what Shane did (another $800) plus fix the oil filter which was dented from the work done at Shanes.Unfortunately we cannot recommend this mechanic.

ACTS OF KINDNESS in the mist of this crisis.This man's kind heart lead him to bless me with free brakes for both my front tires. I drove into his shop with my brake scrubbing cause they were wore completely out. I wanted to know if he would just take the screws out of my brake pads. so I could put some older pads on myself. And this man said not to worry about paying him he will order me some new brakes for free. Lord, the kindness in this man to do that for me when I really needed help. I am so grateful for his act of kindness. I can just cry tears of joy all day thinking about it.

While traveling home to Pennsylvania from Florida- we start losing air in our rear tire on drivers side - we got off 95 asked at station where there be some places to get a tire fixed/ they sent us down Cedar Creek Rd- when going to stop to put more air I spotted Shane s Automotive- it s 6:30 Friday night and they were still open. We stopped and he said of course we help you out. Thanks guys we appreciate it.

Absolutely amazing place! Called them up yesterday to get a thermostat replaced and they got me in first thing today. Very affordable pricing and super nice people working there. I will definitely be taking my cars there from now on.

I ve been going to Shane for over 7 years with four different cars. He will tell you exactly what is wrong, what is critical to repair, and what can be left for a later time. The best prices in town for mechanic work. You can trust Shane!

Very friendly staff. Quality work and very fair prices. There Labor rate is $70 an hour. They understand people being strapped for cash when there vehicle acts up. If your looking for quality work at a fair price. Go to Shane's Automotive

If i could give a higher star rating i would with no doubts I highly recommend Shane' auto i have been going to shane for years with 3 diffrent vehicles when i had a problem with them he got it fixed the right way the first time shane cares about his customers he knows wht he is doing shane is like family. The only person i will let work on my vehicle well also his one Mechanic Kirk which worked on my transmission on my 99 dodge caravan and did a wonderful job shane will work wit you and not low ball you i have nothing but good things to say about this man i know if anything goes wrong with my vehicle shanes automotive will be the place i call shane thank you for all the great work you have done and helping me when i needed it ...if you are in around or just passing through Fayetteville nc and need a good mechanic give shane a callServices: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Oil change

Shane's automotive has the best rates that I have found in town. Very honest in telling you what you need or don't need to have done to your vehicle. He doesn't try to kill you on your bill

Best automotive mechanic in Fayetteville! The owner and staff are very knowledgeable regarding repair work on cars, SUVs, commercial use vehicles. Labor and repair prices are reasonable. Most importantly, they will go above and beyond to ensure your vehicle is working correctly, advise you of the work needed to be completed!

I was on a road trip and my wipers stopped working and I found this shop. Shane did all he could to find the problem but it could not be fixed at the time but he was not gonna let me get on the road without doing something and he did. He made it so the wipers would work until I would be able to correct the problem correctly. Thank you Shane definitely recommend
