My go to with my car repair needs has always been the knowledgeable and friendly Nathan's Auto and Schwab's and if it can't be done there, they will refer you to another very knowledgeable and trustworthy business. I've loved them like family since 2000.

Truly a lifesaver and wallet friendly. Had an ongoing issue that I had dumped money in at another recommended place due to impatience at appointment dates here. I could have saved my money and an almost dangerous situation by just waiting for good work. The team is honest, cost-effective and actually pretty quick once you get in. If I can advise anyone else, just don t hesitate if you are considering going here for any issue. They worked with print outs, my fluffy explanation of issues and provided 3 alternatives. Unfortunately the larger of the 3 advised revealed itself later as being the issue. They kept good records and actually got the price down some and had no problem glancing at a few other things. Common sense and expertise in car repair is so rare now but their whole team from the front down seems to have it. The plus side is they are friendly and explain everything!

My parents and sisters have been coming here for years. Even though the shop has changed hands, the new ownership is as honest and trustworthy as the last. I live in Florida and when possible I schedule my services to align with my visits back home because I know that they will not overcharge me or try to sell me services that I don t need. For example, on my last visit, they save me $40 by not replacing a gasket that still looked good when changing the rear differential oil. Another shop may have gone ahead and charged me as part of the service regardless.

Nathan's was always my first choice whenever I needed maintenance or repairs on my vehicles. I'm happy to report that Schwab's has maintained the same high standards for work and communication. I've brought all of my vehicles here at least once since the change in ownership, and I've left satisfied each time.

I had a check engine light that I put off until last minute and needed a repair done quickly. Andrea was very helpful in getting me a quote and having the repairs completed in a timely manner. I really appreciate them working with me.

Great experience. My final price was much less than the quote and that was much better than the dealer to begin with. They were able to verify a discrepancy as well. Andrea was really nice, so overall, well worth the drive.

I was a customer at Nathan s for 25 years. Many times when he couldn t do the work I needed he recommended Brian. I trust anyone that Nathan trusts. So even before they took over I had work done by them.I ve known Drea personally for about 12 years. She has always been a kind and transparent person. I was happy that if Nathan had to retire that he left me with Brian and Drea. They are genuinely good people.I ve kept going to Schwabs and received top notch service. I ll be going here another 25 years if I m lucky.

Great, Honest and competent mechanics!!!!This is my first time coming into Schwabs. I have been there 5 times before when it was Nathans. I was nervous with the new management change, however they did not disappoint. They are always booked out cause they are a trusted mechanic in the community. That being said, plan accordingly. I would easily take my car back. The ladies at the front desk are lovely and professional. The mechanics are honest, explain what's needed and what you should consider for upcoming maintenance.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair

I used to always go to Nathan s for my auto repairs cause I knew I could depend on being treated fairly , I took my vehicle to Schwab s to get some work done and not only did they do a great job , but they did it in a very timely manner , thanks Brian, I see that nothing has changed and I m glad my vehicle is level and runs good

Let me start out by saying that I literally never write reviews, but I had to say something in a public form to keep people informed on the business practices of Schwab's Automotive. Schwab's auto used to be Nathans Auto and I have been going to Nathans for years. The new management is riddled with incompetence. Not only did they fail in their basic duties, but their lack of empathy and willingness to help find a solution was utterly disappointing. If I could turn back time, I would never have trusted them with my car. It was truly a waste of time. I guess you finally learn your lesson when you go in for routine maintenance and end up needing a tow after they tinker with things that you asked them not to do. So, trust me, there are plenty of better options out there where good mechanics actually know what they're doing.

Schwab s Automotive had taken over for Nathan s Mechanic Shop but and manages to maintain the high degree of excellent service. The staff and mechanics alike are personal and direct with everything surrounding one s vehicle. Their friendliness, level of service and honesty are unmatched in Fayetteville.As they have done major repairs on my 2004 Ford Ranger, the mechanics will tidy up minor repairs along the way, with no charge, since the vehicle is already being dissected. I always pull away from the shop with confidence in my truck.

This place is okay if you don't mind a wait. Seems to be some miscommunication between front desk and mechanics the couple of times I've been here. Front desk is friendly.

In response to the previous reply, you mentioned 3 lies. One, I never cursed. You all threw being a "Christian" in my face when you ruined my car...10mph at best. I drove 60 mph to your shop. Two, you never mentioned an appt. You told me to drop my car off, which I did trusting you stupidly for 2 WEEKS, and you were done doing nothing in 1 day. Three, what my dad said has nothing to do with what I asked for. You had 2 weeks to fix any problems to clear the check engine light. Not tell me what you think it might be. I'm human and irate at the idiocracy that I dealt with after my beautiful honeymoon. You are THE WORST FAKE PRETEND MECHANIC I HAVE EVER MET. You broke my car and forced me to buy a new one!!! Please please please y'all!!! Don't go to this place. They will break your car and blame you and ask do you want them to TRY to fix it!Service: Tires

Brian and his team are exceptionally courteous, knowledgeable and trustworthy. On multiple occasions, both in person and over the phone, they took the time and patience to answer my many questions in a friendly and practical manner. Once I weighed my options and elected to have the work done, Brian even saved me significant cost with his honest advice based on many years of experience, versus most other places that would have just stayed silent, charged me for unnecessary work and parts and sent me on my way with a lighter wallet and none the wiser.I will be doing business with Schwab's Automotive again and would not hesitate to recommend them very highly. As a female, I often feel like I'm being taken advantage of or talked down to when I take my vehicle to the mechanic. NOT at this Schwab's. The owners and everyone I've interacted with are friendly and professional, and they want you to understand what is going on with your vehicle.

I took my car here before I left on my honeymoon for an oil change, light bulbs, and a check engine light. A week and a half later, I show up to find out that my car no longer drives, the check engine light is still on and it is MY FAULT. They offered to take a look at it with additional charges. I miss you NATHAN!!!
