Very nice family run business and the work they put out is very professional. They have very reasonable price for the work they do. I have been using Moffit machine for the past 10 years and had no issues with them. I always recommend my friends and family to this place for engine work and machining work.

Seem to be really great people . Very friendly. Dropped 6 piston custom Wilwood break caliper . . Somehow a bleed screw broke clean off. I tried to easy out it . Didn't work out so well . Didn't want to mess up the threads . Heard good things about this place. Let you know how it goes . .

They were quick, maybe 4 hours, to remove a stuck bolt with the head broken off. I tried extracting it myself multiple times with different methods. Didn t get it of course. They cost less than half what I was anticipating, and saved the threads!The damage at the top of the hole is from me, they cleaned it all up and saved my threads!

Fast, reasonable prices, great quality work. They pressed in bushings and lower ball joints for my lower control arms. Done within 24 hours, they called me with the updated pricing, and I was impressed with their workmanship once complete. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

Dropped off my 400 mopar block in January.I know they were busy as I wasn't in a hurry to do the machine work.Left a deposit and called to see if they would use a torque plate for my build.He said he didn't have one and said he would check with a friend.He said he will call me later on in the week.2.5 weeks later,never heard hide nor hair from him.I called today,may 3rd,to see if he found one, hfound out he didn't have luck.I said that I would buy one just knock it off my bill.They said they don't really have a use for one.I said so you were going to final hone my race engine without one ?They said yeah.Picked up my stuff and left a bad taste in my mouth.This guy don't call you back I guess unless it's time to collect !

Somewhere between 12 and 15 years ago my 1995 S10 needed a full engine rebuild. I happened to be working on a job at FSU & had my truck towed to Nathans. Being the very best auto repair shop in the entire area (IMO) Nathan told me my engine needed a full rebuild. He strongly recommended Moffitt Machine Co. Moffitt did the work and for over 250 thousand miles my engine has been literally PERFECT running. No oil burning no leaks excellent performance best MPG I had ever gotten. If i was not always traveling and in a hurry (80 mph avg on Interstates) my 4 cylinder would probably have lasted longer than 250K - but now i hear a rod knock indicating i must have spun a rod bearing. It is not too bad but i am not going to risk it. I live in Georgia and my ace mechanic here told me to let whomever rebuilt my 2.2L inline 4 cylinder chevy S10 motor DO IT AGAIN. He also recognized the excellent performance with the long hard miles i had put on my engine. Long story longer I live about 300 miles away from Moffitt & i would. not let any other shop rebuild my engine. There will be a 6 week wait - but when I want the proven best - so i am willing to wait. It does not hurt that the people staffing the shop are considerate & courteous on top of being excellent machine craftsmen. Sincerely Larry Croft Martinez GeorgiaService: Motor building

I came here when installing me 7.5 in rough country lift. Amazing help! Very knowledgeable and helped drill my lower control arms and they helped press my pinion bearing when I installed 5.11 Yukon gears for the rear end differential. Great work, great price, very professional.I had a couple of cylinder heads resurfaced and cleaned. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable, and the heads were ready for pickup in just a few days.

I had my LS3 heads cleaned, decked and the valve guides installed. Great work, done with attention to detail!!! Will only use them for engine work as long as i live within an hour of them.

I just recently had the engine rebuilt with Moffitt in my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. It had a thrown rod bearing. I was quite surprised when we picked the van up after the work was completed. The van runs better and stronger than it EVER did! They did the rebuild at a great price, and I am very happy with their work! I recommend Moffit Machine to everyone that needs major or minor engine work done on their vehicle. Marie was always polite, and ready to answer any of my questions! Thanks guys for the stellar work you did on my van! You gained another forever customer!

Got my parts machined and another part drilled/tapped...got part back super fast considering all the work that looked like was being done ...walked away paying alot less then I 1st thought ..very helpful and that drive across town was well worth the service and price I got! Great machine shop!!

Had cylinder heads machined for a 3.4L in an 06 Equinox. Heads were well machined and are performing as expected. Would highly recommended this place for machine work.

Been getting engine work done here for over 30 years friendly knows what their doing. Might take a while to get your engine rebuilt but that's because of all the business they get from word of mouth.

The best place in town. If you need any work done go to them! Even the people are friendly!
