I went in telling them exactly what I needed done. I told them I could even show them the problem when my car got lifted up. I had an appointment set for 8:30am. I saw my car get pulled in at 9am. I sat there for four hours. Then finally after I asked about my car for the third time they gave me a report about my entire car (which I didn t ask for them to do) They tried to over charge me $3500 to do the original fix I was asking about. So overall I wasted over four hours of my time and paid $170 for them to diagnose my car. They didn t even fix anything.

Previously had my car at another shop for an entire month. Took it to Harrell s and issue resolved in 3 days. Anne was great with communicating with me. They send you pictures and detailed descriptions of the problem. Brandon was great with the follow up, checking in after I had my car. It s worth the money because they don t give you the run around. Clear communication, which I appreciate.

Kristen (and her team) were outstanding! She promptly responded to my inquiry about my repair, got me scheduled quickly, and handled checking my vehicle in and out with the highest level of courtesy and professionalism. When I had additional questions about my repair, the service technician came out, showed pictures, and explained his work clearly and in a language even I could understand!WAY TO GO!

This place is excellent, I strongly recommend this company. I have a Ford CMax Hybrid and I looked for some time for a car repair specialist and I couldn't find any, including a dealership, until I found Harrell's in an internet search, they served me very well, from the moment I sent a message asking if They worked with Hybrid cars until the moment I left with the car repaired.They have a system where you can follow the report of what they check in the car, with photos. They were also very fair to me when it came to charging for the service, in fact this is another positive point, they charged me for the service and not per hour.Congratulations Harrell s Auto Sevice!!!

Very pleased with the service to my vehicle. The setup is similar to a high end dealership where you re assigned a service rep who communicates with you throughout your service. Pictures are sent to you with the severity of each flaw and the recommendation of service. Service is thorough and communication is top notch. Would return for future services.

Anthony was very nice and the technician(s) were INCREDIBLY thorough which I appreciated. I had an engine problem for 10 months they were able to find the issue to after I went to two other auto shops and sunk money into. They take photos which is a GAME CHANGER for my trust and faith in what they're doing. Only downside is the kinda costliness of labor, which I understand to a degree. If I could I would give a 4.5/5 for that.

Dealt with Kristen, the service writer and she took care of my 2008 Toyota Tundra TRD, had to replace my water pump and radiator. She kept me informed when parts arrived and when vehicle was started and completed. She even took me home when it was dropped off. The work and service was great. Highly recommend !

HARRELL S was by far the best mechanic shop I have been too. I had an issue with my Kia Sorento that they weren t able to work on but went above and beyond to help me understand the diagnosis and make arrangements for me to take the car to the dealer to ensure that it was covered under warranty instead of me paying out of pocket. Typically the service they render costs about $150 and was waived due to the inconvenience of not being able to provide service for the issue. They are unbelievably honest and I will recommend and return in the future for any service needs! Thank you so much for your customer care, five stars isn t even enough!

I made an appointment to drop my car off at 9am. I show up drop my car off and was told we ll call you in about three hours with diagnostics before we proceed . Cool. I waited three hours. Nothing. I waited another hour. No phone call. It was getting close to 5pm and they close at 5:30 so I decide to call to check on what s going on. I was told the person at the front desk left early that day and that s why I didn t get a call about the status of my vehicle. I showed up like 15 minutes before close and absolutely nothing was done to fix my vehicle. I rarely get a day off during the week so this was my only opportunity for the next few months. If I would have waited in the lobby they probably would have gotten to my vehicle sooner, but because I dropped it off and went about my day my vehicle was like the last one to be seen. Now I m out $400 and my heater is still broken, windshield wiper fluid still doesn t work, and I never got my engine tune up. Thanks for literally nothing! Bad business!! My son brought his Nissan Altima in to have a tire changed and they put a tire on a cracked rim KNOWINGLY then mentioned it on his paperwork (after the fact) but never told him. Within hrs his tire was FLAT!!! I get it that he should ve looked at his invoice but WHY was a call not made to him notifying him of the cracked rim PRIOR to placing the tire? Knowing it would immediately go flat? Before ANY repairs are ever made on my car at the dealership, they ALWAYS call me to let me know the problem FIRST, then ask if they should proceed or not. This is awful business. I will not send my kids there or recommend this place to anyone else. This was dangerous!!

"I had a disappointing experience with Harrell s Tire and Auto Service. Initially, I called on March 6, 2024, to inquire about a tire replacement. Despite the tire not being in stock, the representative assured me it would be ordered and ready the next day. I dropped my car off at 9 am as scheduled, but by 4 pm, I hadn't received any updates.Upon calling, I learned an unexpected inspection was done without my consent. The service team claimed multiple tires needed replacement, contrary to my explicit request for just one tire. Despite confirming that only the approved tire should be replaced, my frustration grew when I arrived and the tire wasn't replaced.The attitude of the supervisor and pressure to purchase additional tires left me dissatisfied. I felt my time was wasted, and the lack of communication about the inspection was frustrating. I won't be recommending Harrell s Tire and Auto Service and won't be returning due to this unprofessional experience.

First let me start by saying when I lived near sprout springs I used Harrels often they were fairly priced and efficient, I always had a good experience. Recently I moved to Raeford and when I had a fairly major automotive issue two weeks ago I was relieved to see a familiar mechanic nearby, Harrells. However, between the two locations my experience has been drastically different.Now I ll give credit where it is due, they did in fact fix my vehicle as requested Installing a new clutch about a day after it finally arrived two weeks later. Unfortunately this is greatly overshadowed by many other short comings on their behalf.First they misplaced my key only to find out your manager had it over the weekend and just let my vehicle sit there in the lot without calling to possibly figure out why the vehicles key wasn t there. It wasn t until I called that the employees realized the issue. There goes an extra day or two for a rental payment.Next the price for the labor was fair for a clutch replacement, but I m still trying to find a single clutch that dosnt include a fly wheel in the assembly. Negating the fact I can t find more than two that cost about $1800 complete assembly. And of every one I ve found not a single one takes over 5 days for arrival, somehow they managed to find the one place to order from that was two weeks delivery, diddnt include a fly wheel and cost more than any other place to order from. Mind you this is a Napa part they arnt in short supply.Finally on top of the repair I requested an annual inspection as my plates expire in January. When I received the vehicle the clerk blew past the inspection paperwork and appeared unaware of it even though it was directly itemized on the receipt. When asked he did check but I was informed that due to the repairs and the battery being disconnected I would have to drive the vehicle 100 miles and come back. I understand rules and regulations quite well, what I do not understand is the failure to communicate that at the request of the service or the fact you charged me for a service that was unable to be provided.I hope my experience was just a one off and others weren t as unfortunate I ve seen plenty of good reviews from other people, again I will say if I am in Cameron/sprout springs I would be willing to go back to Harrells as for the one on Raeford road, I do not think I will be returning.Updated review: I appreciate your associates reaching out to me for a refund of the annual inspection as well as your acceptance of critiques. I will reconsider your review (+) in light of this more positive customer interaction. Thank you Maria, you were very polite and transparent when speaking with me interactions like this as simple as they may seem to a long way to the customer. Moving forward I wish the best for your business and hopefully my experience will overall end up improving your customer service for others.

They kept my car 2 days for brake pads. I wasn t contacted after the first day to let me know they wouldn t have it done. I had to call them. The price was ridiculously expensive, but the overall service was really good. I wouldn t recommend if you re low on funds.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I ve been with Harrell s tire and auto service since 2016. They have become highway robbers. Today I had my vehicle inspected. They failed it for a rear bulb. Instead of stating the bulb was needed to pass, they failed it, and then informed us and charged again for reinspection within the same setting. They then charged 60 some dollars to install a four dollar bulb. Most places in Fayetteville, who give military discounts do so on the total cost of the service. We were told they only give military discounts on the parts, which is generally the least amount. I don t know if they re undernew management, but they become ridiculous with pricing.

after reading the review the owner left - you all put those zip ties on when you did my cv work alittle over 2 years ago - if you look at my service record I had to bring it back bc you all didn t install them right so I guess whenever working on my truck the 2nd time is who put zip ties in my boots so you all should be embarrassed Crooks Beware! Took my truck to put 2 tires on an alignment and inspection - was told I need $1300 worth of work before inspection can be done due to a leak in rack n pinion / got a 2nd opinion as I didn t have a leak in my driveway - was told truck has no leak - went back to finish my inspection at harrells was was told they can t pass me until the work is done!!? I drive up to TLC who passed my truck without any issues - these people are crooks don t believe what they tell you get a 2nd opinion better yet put them out of business and don t go!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

It took 2 hours for just a simple oil change. That is just unacceptable. Should have taken it to 5 min oil change. Staff was professional and friendly. Will not be going back.

This was my first experience with Harrell s Auto Service today. Ericka was very helpful and gave me options to stay/wait or have their company shuttle service take me to my destination. The team was able to thoroughly inspect my car and give me a break down of each item that needed repair. They also provided photo images of each damaged part. I needed my brakes serviced and they were able to fit me in for an appointment the next business day after calling. This location was able to accept synchrony car credit although the process with customer service was a long journey. All in all, I was satisfied and able to walk out of their business with my repaired car brakes the same day thanks to Tyrone (mechanic), Harold and Anthony ! They stayed over later to help resolve the synchrony car credit card issue which was delaying the completion of my transaction. Thank you so much for the extended help guys! Y all are okay with me.

Of Course The Service Is Prompt & Convenient Even While The Store Is Pact With Customers As There Are Even More Associates Available To Assist & Are Forthcoming, Knowledgable & Very Informative!! There's A Reason Why Harrell's Has So Many Customers ... Service - Service - Service!! The Newly Outfitted Waiting Area With Conducive Amenities Such As Comfortable Seating, Conducive High Top Work Tables & Stools, Televisions All Make Waiting For Lengthy Services Very Convenient & Keurig Coffee, With Assorted Flavors ... Really???... Where Else Will Such Great Amenities Be Provided?!!.. The Service Personnel Are Very Informative & Provide Professional Service .. "Chris Is Seriously On Point ... I'm Jus Sayin!!!"
