They are a top notch mechanicalservice center. The lady whom runs the office is so cordial, accommodating, knowledgeable, and she is downright a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I recently had almost $1000 worth of engine work performed on our vehicle, that pretty much saved it from the junkyard. We had a local nonprofit help us with the cost of getting our vehicle back in top shape. They went above and beyond helping to facilitate this process and we are so grateful for their empathetic and helpful manner in getting this done. What could have been a very lengthy and tenuous process was effortless and accomplished without any hiccups in the process. Thanks again for the best service in town in my opinion. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime, and without hesitation.

They put used tires on my car for a reasonable price, although i cant remember now. The work was efficient, got it done in about 20 mins. I recommend this place for used tires. The reason for the 4 star is that they dont use any lifts so work is not going to be as fast as with your standard tune up shop, but for the prices i recommend it.

Bill Gomez s quiet professional, empathetic and diligent in his service. He got my spark plugs and coils replaced within an hour. And it is a great deal of satisfaction

When there to change one tpms sensor but the owner started talking about that is like buying shoes, you don t just buy one that I had to change them all, then he told me that it was over $400 dollars, what ever happen to customer is always right, he didn t even listen to what I have to say, he thinks that I don t know about mechanics, I m sorry for older people that go there and get ripoff s, bad way of doing business and all I wanted was replacing the tpms sensor no programming

Well the first time I used them they worked on my cargo van, the work was done and it was ok. I just took my van there and didn't hear from them all day, then the next day I called and was told I would hear something but nothing until I just went back and picked it up. All it takes is communication to let the customer know what's going on, and still haven't heard anything about what they truly found just was told it could be this and that disappointed in them this time

I don't know if some of these reviews are fabricated or if they are only really good at trucks, but I will not use them again. At first everything was going well until they decided they didn't want to deal with a dealership or extended warranty. I went to get an oil change and a transmission replacement because the woman there said they do that type of work BEFORE I had my car towed in. Initially they said I only needed an oil change until I told them that my vehicle programming was updated and no warning light came on but it wasn't driving right, and the rpm got stuck at a certain speed and they checked out my transmission. I was told I would need a new transmission and they had to wait for the internet to start working again so they could look up possible ways of fixing the belt issue (I guess instead of having to get a brand new transmission), and then I was told they would not touch it because they were not trying to run into payment issues. I tried to reassure them that payment wasn't an issue but then they kept saying because it was a cvt transmission and they didn't want to deal with the dealership they would not touch it. I wish I was told that when I first spoke to the woman before having my car towed in. Not to mention there was oil on both sides of my car from the oil change and the man on the oxygen tank was not the friendliest.Services: Transmission, Oil change

AWESOME!! I spoke to them on the phone yesterday and dropped my car off first thing this morning for a coolant leak. They called my by 9:30, at the latest, and let me know what was wrong and how much it would be. They made my day!! I was told they would be able to fix it Monday, but got a call no more than two hours later letting me know it was ready. Only talked to them on the phone, but they are extremely nice and very professional. Will DEFINITELY be going there from now on.

I drop my car off to get a diagnostic done because my check engine light was on and I also wanted an oil change and an alignment done. Work was done for said check engine light almost $1000 later only for it to come back on again the next day. I bring it back a few days later to get looked at again and for my alignment that wasn t able to be done initially. I got no calls for update so I call them 30 minutes before they close with no answer. I need my vehicle for a 45 minute work commute and it would have been nice to know I had to keep my car there overnight.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This occurred on 8/6/21 And it was the worst experience of my life and a huge inconvenience. I may never use U-Haul again due to this ridiculousness. 10 mins before I was supposed to go and pick up my truck from Fayetteville I got a text to pick up my U-Haul in a location that was 40 mins away. Because someone did not bring the U-Haul back to the correct place the location I was gonna pick the uhaul up from didn't have ANY trucks. I had to go 40+ mins away to pick up a truck. The truck that was there was double the size I needed. I called U-Haul multiple times to rectify the situation and they said they d have someone call me back and they never did. Worst customer service ever. They didn t even have the rolling cart that I needed but still charged me for it. No remorse was shown. Gomez Tire kinda tried but not really. Unsatisfied 6 months later. I wished they wouldve contacted me sooner to explain the situation. Do better for customers.

I have read reviews that they are the best in Fayetteville. If this is the best there is, we are in trouble. I called and asked for a quote to change my water pump. The lady told me she would get back to me. Well, she never did. I called, Toni asked me for the engine size. I told her there was only one size for that year. Toni then said she would get back to me, again she never did. Finally, I called, and she gave me a quote of $480.00 for the job. We took the car to Gomez Auto Service, the next day they told me it would be $980 for the water pump change. I blew up, why did the price almost double. Well, I was told we have to change the timing belt, which is also connected to the pump. How come when I got the original quote the water pump wasn t attached to the timing belt. I said I would come to pick up the car, and they said it would be 95 dollars! I said why? all they did was open the hood and then check the computer to see what was involved in the repair. I took my car out of there and paid them the 95 dollars. They are rip-offs and thieves at this place, and all I can say is Stay away!!!!Service: Engine repair

Awesome, nice people. My truck was giving me trouble. They had me in and out the same day. Quoted me additional services I was asking about for later on. They were not pushy and my truck feels great! Definitely going back for all my automotive needs. PLUS THEY HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CARS

They have reasonable prices. They fixed my window motor one time but scratched my tint. Other than that, no complaints.

Good, honest service by competent mechanics. The price was fair. I felt that everything was clearly explained and no corners were cut. The owner is not only on site but works along side his mechanics. Very polite front desk. They don't have a website and most customers find Gomez by word of mouth which says how much a gem this place truly is! They don't need to advertise.

Sold us a car that they said their best mechanic put back together and the day we got the car it broke down and they offered to fix it. But twice we towed it back to Gomez they acted as if nothing was wrong with the car and it always remained with the same problem. When we bought the car the older gentleman with the breathing machine acted like he was annoyed from the moment we walked up to buy the car WITH CASH, but we were patient. He showed me why he was so mean when we were trying to purchase. He hadn't fixed that car right from the beginning! He could've been honest tho. Needless to say this process went over 2 months before we could actually possess the car because they 'worked on it' so long. Disappointing.

I just want to say that Gomez Auto Services is the best I had an issue with my daughter's car and mechanic said it was a heater coil. It was wet under the dash on a passenger side I told her car from from Durham, he kept it for two or three days did not find anything wrong with it it said I can't take your money can't find the leak or anything and the car is running great. I would recommend mr. Gomez to anybody because of his pure heart and honesty alone.

I am completely amazed by Gomez auto services. I brought both my car and my husbands car into this shop to get fixed thinking that one or both cars were toast and we were about to have two new car payments. Even with snow and most places closed, Gomez got both of our cars back to us within 2 days for significantly less than we expected. They will call you with an estimate before any work is preformed and they will tell you straight so you don't have to worry about paying for stuff that's not necessary. This shop will always be our go to place from now on. We highly recommend Gomez auto services.

Good old fashioned service. From the front check in until the time i picked up my wife's truck the service was top notch. I will no longer take my trucks to any other place for service. Hey, If you require honesty and great service, go no further. I have been bringing my vehicles here for over 20 years. They will tell you what's wrong, and keep the part to explain what went wrong. Service warranty, they have 'All" of the credentials of the dealership. Trust me on this. Al Johnson, Life Long Customer

These guys are amazing. Honest, hardworking, and Vee will do whatever he can to try and save a customer money. Amazing work.And to the guy pissed off about the check out fee. There's a sign that says a minimum check out fee is required on all cars. You still have to pay for labor.

this was the worst experience, I took my car to install fog lights, simple, but it took them three days to do it, they left cables and the switch hanging, a beginner job, it looks like a quality workshop but it is not.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I would really stay away from this place either the reviews are old or there making there own. This is the worst car repair experience I have ever had please stay away. The only thing good about this shop is the sweet lady at the front. They kept my car didn t fix it and the inside was took apart without even being put back together. Please stay away from this place!!Service: Electrical repair

Hands down and bar none the most knowledgeable and professional shop that I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with. I've had six jobs done over the past three years. Each job has been completed in advance of the quoted time, and under the price that I was quoted. Mr. Gomez, both Senior and Junior will always share several options, and know how to think outside the box. They have been able to obtain hard to find parts twice when no other shop could. One job I had done recently was completed for hundreds of dollars less than the next best quote. They show up early and stay late when the situation/need dictates. Gomez Auto Service is my "go to" shop, and I'm extremely thankful that they are a part of the Fayetteville/Cumberland County business community.

NEVER AGAIN!!! INITIALLY, THEY WERE NICE WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I WENT THERE BECAUSE MY GMC WAS OVERHEATING. (THE PROBLEM WAS A RUBBER HOSE WAS CRACK ONLY) THE GUY CHANGED OUT MY THERMOSTAT ( WAS NOT NEEDED) AND TRIED TO DO A LIST OF THINGS I DIDN'T ASK FOR. $700 LATER....MY WIFE DROVE IT 3 TIMES AND NOW WE HAVE A WATER LEAK. THIS WAS A PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT PRESENT BEFORE. THE ATTITUDE OF THE MECHANIC JUST MADE ME LEAVE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOR THE SERVICE. THEY WILL CREATE MORE PROBLEMS. WORST PLACE EVER.
