These fellas were honest, understanding and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone. Like other shops, esp being a female I didn't feel like they found a load of things I needed repaired like most places do, they weren't condescending nor did they overcharge me. Granted I had a headache of a situation, they were able to get me taken care of and get my vehicle back running good & for a fair price. & I'm very grateful for that. Brian and Adam I really appreciate you guys taking the time to listen and take care of my SUV in a timely manner to get her road ready I'll be back for future business & I'll continue to refer people your way. xoxo have a blessed one

Where can I start? This place is horrible. First of all they kept my vehicle for a whole week Without completing any repairs. Secondly, Kirt continued to lie like they were working on my vehicle and never done anything to my vehicle. One of the guys (Kirt) went as far as to follow me out to my car after I came back to pick up my vehicle because they were not doing anything to my vehicle and it was just sitting there. He followed me to my car like he was going to do something to me While he unprofessionally walked and muffled words while walking towards m. It was horrific!!! This is the most unprofessional place I have ever seen in my life. Please don't go there, they are racist very unprofessional and do not know what they are doing when it comes to European and foreign cars Beware!!!

We have always gone back to the dealerships to get our cars serviced but we got tired of their prices, their extra charges, and the add-ons. So we researched local shops and decided to try D K Hardee and are so glad we did. We have used D K Hardee several times for different cars, sometimes for routine things and sometimes to fix a problem. It is difficult to know who to trust these days but we trust them. They stand behind their work and do a great job of communicating with us, the customer, and their prices are far more reasonable than dealerships.

DK Hardee is a breath of fresh air in this industry. I would give these guys a 10 s out of 5. They are down to earth mechanics and service advisors. Reasonably priced services. Honest and solid mechanic work, no hassle.Curt (and Austin) was phenomenal, give that man co-ownership if he doesn t have partnership already (lol). Seriously, my vehicle had engine issues (eg. vehicle stalled in traffic multiple times); the dealership continued to throw parts at my car and avoid fixing the real issue. In April 2023, I took my vehicle to DK Hardee they identified the issue, explained it to me. Months later, a class action lawsuit was filed for manufacture engine failure. If I hadn't gone to DK Hardee, the engine failure issue would not have been truthfully identified. Thank you much.

I want to thank James Chandler, a very knowledge Auto technician on a job Well done on my Colorado o6 model. It was a large labor job. Well worth the repair cost. Some time ago, the engine in our Son s vehicle went out, and because he was states away en route back home to Texas, we had to leave the vehicle there in North Carolina. The Team at DK Hardee was so patient with us during our decision-making process, allowing us to leave his vehicle in their lot at no charge. They assessed the damage to the engine and only charged a small diagnostic fee, which we were so thankful for. Ultimately, we did not move forward with the repair; we ended up selling the vehicle as-is to a company that later picked up the car. However, our experience was incredible all throughout the three-week period of time. Their desire is to truly take care of people, knowing that is the real treasure. May the LORD bless them and their families in the Mighty Name of Jesus!Thank you, DK Hardee!

They do not perform work to manufacturing specs. Brought my vehicle in to have control arms replaced. When I got the car back noticed the alignment was off. After noticing this I began to look under the vehicle and where the control arms were replaced. Immediately noticed the belly cover of the car was hanging and not screwed in properly. The brake wear sensor was dangling, the pinch bolt on the knuckle holding the upper control arms was overtorqued to the point it cracked the knuckle, and a washer was placed in the wrong location on the passenger side. Brought it back and was told everything would be corrected. They fixed all noticeable issues and replaced the spindle due to the knuckle being cracked. A few months go by and I start to notice a popping noise coming from the drivers side. At this point I did not want to bring it back to DK Hardee and went to Wagenhaus. When Wagenhaus inspected the vehicle for the popping noise they determined the driver side lower control arm that was replaced was actually a passenger side control arm and was making contact with the lower rear control arm. Brought it back to DK Hardee again and they acknowledged the wrong control arm was installed and informed me the incorrect part was sent from the supplier and they would correct the issue. While the car was there I asked if they could balance the tires to fix a small vibration I was noticing on the highway. They said they balanced the tires and told me they found a screw in one of the tires and put a plug in it for me. A few weeks later I was getting a leak from the plug they put in the tire. Decided to go to Discount tire to have them replace all tires with new ones as the leaking tire could not be repaired. Discount tire struggled to remove the lug bolts for the wheels because they were overtorqued from the previous shop (DK Hardee s if they actually balanced the tires) by using an impact gun vs a torque bar like they should have. While trying to remove all lug bolts it ended up stripping a locking lug and the key key due to bolts being overtourqued. Now I will be bringing my car to the dealer in Cary to have them drill out the locking lug and inspect all work performed by DK Hardee. Lastly, each time I picked my car up from DK Hardee the vehicle settings were changed to dynamic mode (higher rpm shift changes, increased throttle response). I always keep my car in comfort mode. Seems suspicious since the car did not need to be placed in dynamic mode to test any of the work they performed. My guess is they were having fun on the test drive. Can t prove it but wouldn t surprise me at this point. I was very calm each time I had to go back and speak to Adam and he and the other employees were very professional. However, it is apparent that the work they did on my car was done with minimal attention to detail and in a hurry. If I could do it all over I would not bring my car to DK Hardee.Service: Steering & suspension repair

They lied about inspection on a 22 year old car. It doesn't have to pass emissions anymore. The guy said a state inspector told him they upped it 30 years. They wanted to repair several parts on this old car that were not necessary. Trying to take advantage of a young man and his first car.

I rely on my personal vehicles to take care of my family and my work vehicles to run my business. There is no other mechanic in the Fayetteville area that I personally would take my vehicles to for maintenance and repairs. The staff are super friendly, helpful, courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Some of my vehicles are no longer under warranty. I rest easy knowing I don't have to worry about being price gouged or taken advantage at DK Hardee Automotive because I know, from repeated experience, I will get the no B.S. truth about the status of my vehicle and the mechanics at DK Hardee will get the job done right the first time and in a timely manner. DK Hardee has saved my skin several times when I needed a vehicle back up and running quickly.If you don't take my word for it, go in and talk to Curtis or Adam and see for yourself. All the guys at DK are great they have some of the best customer service skills, and none of the typical mechanic shop beat around the bush. They are prompt thorough and fix it right the first time and for around Fayetteville is a rare gem. I would recommend DK Hardee Automotive to anyone with a foreign made car especially. I have delt with Adam and Kurt so far and they are stand up guys. It's a little bit out of the way but well worth the trip! Very polite, friendly, and fast! I only waited a little over an hour for oil change,rotate tires, and flush ABS brakes. I don't know where to start, plse just go to DK Hardee Automotive to see for your self!!! Curt and Adams at the front desk are very kind and helpful!!!You won't be disappointed that's for sure.. The team is fantastic, very professional.. They're the best at what they do!!! I recently had repairs done on two vehicles including oil change twice, very pleased with the outcome.. In my opinion compare to other Auto repair shops that i've been before when it comes to fees, Dk is incomparable great services at a super low prices.. I can't say enough.. No hidden fees!!! What ever is going on with your vehicle, they'll be honest and straight forward with you. If you're a woman like myself with not much experience with vehicle, no worries they're not looking for one time hit of over charge and don't care for next time.. Don't take my words for it check my most recent oil change in the picture below!!!

Brought my car in to be worked on last week. Had a whole list of (warranty covered) issues to be fixed. Adam was my sales rep and liaison between those performing the service and myself. He was fantastic, kept me up to date on everything, and did an awesome job explaining the process to me. Had a vehicle towed here after it wouldn't start, felt it was something electrical. They figured out it was the battery and some corrosion. Weren't sure they could fix it same day, but they called at end of business and it was ready. Picked it up the next morning.Pretty down to earth easy going guys. Seem to know what they're talking about and I like the positive reviews. I'll probably bring my vehicle back for an old/used vehicle inspection (it's 09). I feel like they'll give me an honest opinion of the state of my car.

They diagnosed the problem resolved and my car, ready to pick up the very next day! They have very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. While I do not have any "proof" for court. The fact is I brought my Ford truck for an extended visit under the hood. After that visit I went somewhere else since I noticed hot air being pumped into the cab. The long story short is that they told me my vaccum hose and A/C hoses were switched! Weird coincidence? Sure...

The best Auto Repair/Service shop in the city! They just fixed my car s issue that was very complicated (AC). I have a 2005 BMW X3 and the AC has been blowing hot/cold air in the same time. Unfortunately, it is common issue of BMW regardless of models and years. They approached the issue with cheapest solution first (checking for leak), flap actuator, and heater control valve. Luckily, my case was by the heater control valve so that I didn t need to worry about pulling out the whole dashboard. These guys are very professional, honest, and they truly committed to resolving your headache and saving your money. They carefully listened to my observations and opinion on the issue. The place is very clean so I enjoyed my time at the waiting room. If you have imported car after warranty, this place is one of the two options you have in the city based on my market research for months that I do as part of my job. Of course, they will do fantastic job for domestic brands. I didn t get ripped off from here so you should be fine as well. I m a Soldier currently stationed at Fort Bragg. I highly recommend this shop for any Soldiers around Bragg. During my service at D.K. Hardee automotive, I'm confident to inform you that they were friendly, professional, and fairly priced. Just moved to the area and came across this auto shop online with great review and decided to try them out. I visited the shop, we agreed on a date and time to return for my car maintenance. After the diagnosis, they found numerous systems that required maintenance and the price. After discussing the best approach, they reduced the price for my service; I really appreciated the discount price they offered me. They worked on my car and competed the service the same day. I would highly recommend this place of business to any and everyone. Great professionalism from the time you enter the Door until the time you leave the building. Mr. Curtis, Mr. Adam and Mr. Zach and all the technicians all take pride in servicing your vehicles needs. Mr. Manuel one of the many technicians has been servicing my vehicles and does an excellent job every time. Everyone in the facility are all so respectful it is has a great atmosphere, you do not hear any foul language and the facilities are very clean and they all treat you with the upmost respect. 4.7 star rating with over 233 reviews says just about all you need to know about DK Hardee, but if you need more convincing then just sit back, relax (perhaps grab your favorite cold beverage of choice), and enjoy yet another 5 star review. When I moved to the area 8 years ago and needed a mechanic I did the same thing you are doing now, googling mechanics in Hope Mills/Fayetteville. The extremely high rating from hundreds of reviews stood out to me above all other shops listed so I decided to give them a shot. I was not disappointed! When you first walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcomed. I could go on and on about their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care about their customers but let me just tell you the one instance that solidified my decision to continue to use DK Hardee. My truck had a problem that was hard to diagnose. Curtis called me the next day and explained that the tech had it narrowed down to three possible problems and that the tech would need another day or two to pin point the exact problem. He told me "we can either throw a lot of money at parts and replace three items and you can get your truck back today or if you can wait then we can find the one problem and fix that which would save a lot of money". I can t say enough good things about Adam and the team at DK Hardee. We were headed back to New York after a long drive to Florida to take care of an ailing parent. Halfway home the Audi Q5 gets very wonky. It barely accelerates and is consuming fuel like mad. When we stop to gas up it dies and barely starts back up.It s late in the afternoon on a Thursday. We are hungry and we are tired, and we are totally unfamiliar with the area. We look up the nearest dealer and it s 200 miles away. After a few calls someone recommends DK Hardee. Adam answers the phone and very politely explains that they are booked full for the week. We explain our situation and he agrees to see us at 7AM the next morning.It takes them less than 1 hour to diagnose the problem. The lead mechanic himself comes out to explain the situation and all of the possible repercussions. One hour later they have the work approved by the insurance company, and the parts ordered. And when the rental car that the insurance company promised is slow to appear, they even give me a ride back to my motel so I can wait it out in comfort. By mid day the following Monday the car was fully repaired and running like a charm.I would not wish car problems during a long trip on my worst enemy, but thank god for the team at DK Hardee. They were polite, professional and thorough. They took the edge off a bad situation and turned it into something positive. I would highly recommend these guys. I wish I lived in North Carolina so I could use them for my routine service.Service: Engine repair

My family has been using DK Hardee for many years. I will never go to a anyone else to fix our vehicles. Curtis, Adam, and Zach are so welcoming when you come in and ready to help in any way they can. They go above and beyond to get your car fixed and get you back on the road. For example, my daughter s car needed repair and since she works a full-time job it is hard to not have a car. One of their mechanics stayed over the weekend to get her car fixed because they know how important it is to get back and forth to work. The mechanics do good quality work, and they always let you know if they find something that will need repair down the road, so your car stays on the road and not in the shop. They have also been there in an emergency to help get our vehicles repaired. These guys are such a big family and since my family means the world to me that means these guys are my family too.Service: General repairs & maintenance
