I called the Gillespie St. store to inquire about roadside service. I spoke with Ashley who was incredibly kind and helpful. Within minutes she had it setup for someone to pickup a tire from another location and then drive to my husband's work on base and change his tire for him. Within 90 minutes the job was done, the technician called to update me, and Ashley called back for me to make the payment. I am very pleased with the service I received and will definitely use them again as well as recommend them to others.

Black s Tires was awesome! We had suffered a blowout on our travel trailer coming north on I-95. On the advice of the towing service that came to our aid (Cain s), we went to Black s to get a new set of four tires put on. Despite being late in the afternoon, they had us come right in and got us all squared away with quality Goodyear Endurance tires. Every person we dealt with was nice and obviously wanted us taken care of and put back on the road safely. Our experience here was nothing but positive. I d recommend them to anyone. A big shout-out to Mike who took such good care with our trailer.

Great experience with both Keith Phillips, who arranged my purchase of two batteries and had them for me when I arrived and with Cindy who completed the transaction for me. Both individuals displayed professionalism and personality. I appreciate their help and the batteries are working great.

Very friendly employees, I told the lady checking me out it sounds like a happy family here. Seems to be a great working environment.I was satisfied with the work done a the explanation for the one that wasn't.Always a great experience getting my RV serviced at Black's Tire.

This has been my go to shop since I moved here 9 years ago. The service is top notch and so is the customer service. Everyone knows who you are and most employees that have been there know your name when you walk through the door.

I went to Black's Tire & Auto Service on Gillespie St. around mid-day yesterday (March 29, 2024). Before going there, I called and spoke to "Isaac". I had just had 4 new tires installed on my wife's 2017 Buick Encore at a different tire dealer down the road from their location. I had an emergency situation, because when the other tire dealer was installing the new tires, they were not able to put all of the lug-nuts back onto the left rear wheel. 3 out of the 5 studs were stripped out, and the wheel was being held on with only 2 lug-nuts. My wife was scheduled to drive up to Norfolk, Virginia with our daughter to see our son before being deployed in a submarine. He is stationed at the Naval Base in Norfolk.I explained all of this to Isaac, and he told me to bring her car there. I had to drive very carefully, as I stated, there were only 2 lug-nuts holding the left rear wheel on her car, and those 2 lug-nuts were on the same side of the wheel, beside each other, making it even more unsafe.I met Isaac when I arrived there with my wife's car, and he and everyone there showed genuine concern. He filled out a service ticket and was confident they would be able to help us. It was a nice day yesterday, so I hung out mostly outside at the picnic table that is in front of the business. Before I knew it, Isaac approached me outside and told me that they went ahead and replaced all 5 studs and all new lug-nuts. He said the 2 that were holding the wheel on were also in pretty bad shape, so it was prudent to go ahead and replace them at the same time. All the parts, including the labor totaled to only $109.My wife and daughter made the trip safely to Norfolk yesterday evening to visit our son, and all is well. Many thanks to Isaac, the technicians, and the front counter staff at Black's Tire. Everyone there were just fantastic people. Because of them, a mother was able to see her son that is serving our country before being deployed. We do not know how long he will be deployed, and this meant the world to her and our whole family.I highly recommend Black's Tire & Auto Service on Gillespie Street. Please take your business there, as they are great people that genuinely care for their customers.

I didn't have an appointment but they got me in and out pretty quick and the cost was extremely reasonable. I can't leave 5 stars without talking about the service. The staff was amazing.

Love Black's Tire. I have a couple vehicles and they always come through for me. Jared was extremely helpful in finding my issues, and getting my truck done quickly. Definitely recommend them. Satisfied every time. The ladies up front are especially friendly and helpful.

I can't explain how good it is dealing with group of individuals. I continually do business with them for their prices and outstanding service, and highly recommend them to everyone needing vehicle maintenance or D.O.T. inspections.

They made a appointment for me the same day. When I arrived, I was checked in and they started work on my vehicle promptly.When they were done, they gave me their recommendation for further service but were not pushy about having it done there.Pricing was fair and straightforward.I have no hesitation about having my vehicles serviced here.

I had a hose break and stall me out at 11:30 in the a.m. I was able to get a tow to Black's, have it repaired, and picked it up before close of business that same day. I was very pleased with Marty and Cyndi's communication and team work to get me out the door. Quality job and fair pricing. Thank you Black's! Merry Christmas.

I just had 4 more tires mounted on my RV. As usual, Sandy and her team were on top of everything. She reminds me of an air traffic controller at a bust airport. I highly recommend Sandy and her team for your auto needs. Thank you Sandy for your professional service.

I stopped in without an appointment hoping to get my state inspection done and they had me in and out in no time! I have always received great customer service from the staff here. They are all very nice.

I dropped my truck off to get a state inspection done and when I got back they told me my turn signal was out (which I doubt) but they said they replaced it in order to get my vehicle to pass, normally other places will call you and ask you if you want them to take care of it or not. Not only did they not ask me for my permission to replace the bulb but they charged me 60 dollars to do it!!!!! The bulb was only 5 dollars and the they charged 55 dollars in labor for replacing a light bulb which they never got permission to do, but I had to get back to work so I didn t have time to argue about it so long story short I paid 80 dollars for a state inspection that only cost 12 dollars. If they would ve let me known I would ve bought the bulb and installed it myself the bulb would ve cost at the maximum 8 dollars, a 20 dollar inspection turned into 80. They definitely should ve asked me before doing any work on my truck and to charge someone 60 dollars to change a lightbulb is ridiculous you are robbing people and then pretending you did them a favor.

Cindi was very helpful when I needed a second opinion on a car repair that was done by another company. They got me right in the next morning after talking to her. The mechanic was able to identify the problem which was a bad part the other company installed. When I took the letter they gave me stating the problem the other company fixed the problem. Without their help I would have been stuck with a bad part.I appreciate their willingness to help.

This place has excellent customer service. I went in for a oil change as well as I was having trouble starting my vehicle. After the oil change my car felt brand new. I was recommended to get a new battery because of my car starting issue and the car starts perfect now. All my fluids were checked and I left driving my car much better than when I first got there. I am so happy for this service. Even the front desk ladies were amazing. I was totally comfortable there. I feel confident and comfortable to return my vehicle there if I have any other issues. Thank you, black tire!

Took my vehicle there for inspection, I failed to the window tint, the attendant told me to take off the 2 front windows off and I would pass she was wrong, the actual inspector had to tell me that all windows needed to be removed, if you are going to have someone work at an inspection place at least they need to be familiar with the laws. Of course I didn t not stay to remove all of window tint.

I have an older car that the subframe rusted out of. I called 4 other shops prior to Black s seeing if they would even take a look at it to give me a quote. 1 didn t answer, 2 said they can t do it, and 1 said they d give me a quote and never did. The service manager at Black s took my concerns seriously, got it in the shop, gave me an extremely reasonable cost, and fixed it up for me in a timely manner. It gave a small business vibe - but big business resources. Thanks to the entire team!

I had a surprise blow out, and having decided to purchase a new set of tires (even though it was that last thing I wanted to do at Christmas time), was grateful that the staff could get a set ordered in, and put on my vehicle, even though it was close to the holidays. They worked diligently to get me back on the road, and I appreciate there care, kindness, and concern.

We needed boat tire change in Fayetteville on our trip to Florida. Service man came in a timely manner and changed the tire and assisted in finding us a bolt for the brake caliper. We were very thankful for the timely service which got us back on the road.

I recently visited the service center for a wheel alignment, power generator service, and motor oil change for my Class-C motorhome E-450. While the employees were courteous, the service was disappointingly slow. Although they fixed the leftward pull of the wheels initially, now the steering wheel isn't straight, and the wheels are pulling to the right. It's frustrating that the issue wasn't resolved properly, and I'll have to return to have it addressed. I'll provide a final review after my next visit, but so far, it's been a subpar experience.

Although the quote on the tires were lower and the counter people were Very nice, the installation people were a little sloppy with the installation of the tires. Being these were tires going on our RV, whoever went into the rv had nasty shoes on and left grease stains on the carpet. That ll have to be shampooed out. They also left off the valve stem extensions, then tried to tell me that they wouldn t work because of the long stem valve stems they replaced the old ones with and they didn t have any short ones. I found all the old valve stem extensions lying around the shop floor and asked the to be reinstalled. Then , as if magic, the correct valve stems appeared. But it was another hour of waiting while they installed the correct valve stems and the valve stem extensions. We used Black s in the past and probably will again, but they need to improve the insulation process.

Outstanding customer service! I received a quote on a semi tire and decided to go no further than this shop. My tire was replaced and I was out the door before I got too comfortable in the waiting room. I will be using this location for any future needs for my truck.

TLDR: I do not recommend Black s Tires. If you care about your personal property and don t want it getting damaged, go somewhere else.I went in to get my rear tires replaced with a set I brought. When I came back out, I didn t have time to really look in depth cause I needed to get to work. After I had gotten home, I noticed how gross my wheels were. Covered in grease and whatever gunk they use to put the tires on. I also noticed circular patterns of gunk around the center of the wheel. I could already see scratches from where their wheel balance machine was pressing (and potentially spinning) against. I figured that maybe it was all the gunk they left on the wheels and that it would go away with a wash. Upon washing the tires I noticed those were scratches and that I had a large chip on the rim of the wheel. Since I have black glossy rims, any chips and scratches are very noticeable. Of course, if I were to show them this they could blame it on preexisting damage. However circular scratches around where the balancing machine was holding onto the rim cannot be blamed on preexisting scratches. Lastly, I checked the air pressure of both rear tires. One side was sitting around 36 psi and the other around 32 psi. Not a crazy difference but still unprofessional that they couldn t use a handheld pressure gauge to get them remotely close. I used to come here all the time as they were one of the few shops that could inspect my low profile car, but if this is how work on cars (with little attention to the damage they are causing) then I will need to look elsewhere.

I went in for our change and tire rotation. Made appt online for 1230. Took nearly 3.5hrs. Saw several customers come and go for oil changes while I was there. Explained my front 2 tires have had leaks which I cannot find and have had to put 10-20lbs of pressure in weekly. Was assured they would be checked. They are still leaking. It's been 2 days since I had the truck in and the air loss is noticeable. I'm VERY disappointed with the service. I typically go to a different BTS and ONLY came to this one because I have a dually diesel and they were "highly recommended". The staff was friendly however the service wasn't worth the time and cost.
