"Quality" is the word that comes to mind when I recall my experience at Auto Tech of Fayetteville NC.2012 AMG C63 Transmission replacement couldn't have went any smoother. Paul and his team are top notch. Very informative, great communication, and knowledgeable.I am looking forward to doing more business with Paul and his team.Service: Transmission

I was hopeful after I saw the reviews. I called to schedule/evaluate my vehicle. Paul was understandably busy at a store. Said he would call back and never did. So I called back a few days later, and someone answered and said Paul would return my call. He did about a week later-which again is understandable given what they do. Paul said he was looking into my requested repair and just had to see where he could get the parts and would return my call. I just waited patiently until he had time. Well, here I am a month later with no returned phone call. I m patient but a month seems excessive to return a phone call to a customer. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Thoroughly satisfied. Paul S. took care of my 1976 T-bird and continued to work on my carburetor until it was perfect. My T-bird runs better now than it did when I bought it. Highly recommend Auto Tech of Fayetteville.

I bought my van to this man because he said he could fix it. A $1000 later, And four months later, I had to tow my van to a mechanic that could fix it. While parked outside, they stole my catalytic converters and went into the van that was left unlocked and stole my tools. I called them to tell him and he curses at me and tells me its not his problem. This guy is a crook, buyer beware.

Amazing! I couldn t get anyone to work on my fiesta STs clutch and flywheel but they took it in, fixed it and were so communicative and honest about everything including prices of parts/labor. Also got to see some amazing projects they are working on. They always are willing to brainstorm and help me figure out little things when I call or show up.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Paul did an amazing job! Finally got my car back on the road thanks to Auto Tech! Paul is very detailed oriented and worked on my car like it was his own. Constantly keep me informed. Even called afterwards to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Had our front struts replaced here. Was done in a day and reasonable price. Called a few weeks after to check in and make sure everything was in good working order. We were on a time crunch to get a rare car on the road. Paul was not only able to get us in within that timeframe, but was able to fix a major issue that could've taken months and cost a whole lot more with someone else. If we weren't going out of state, we would wholeheartedly continue bringing our vehicles to Auto Tech.

Auto Tech was a very professional and knowledgeable repair shop. The owner Paul was very nice and knew his stuff. The prices were also very reasonable compared to every else around town. They got my car done and back on the road within less then a couple hours. I needed my alternator replaced and he had the part ordered and delivered within a hour of me calling his place. I would recommend this place for any of your vehicle repairs. 10/10

I'll give this one 5 stars for his old school skills and new school knowledge. It's definitely difficult to find a mechanic who can rebuild as well as repair, regardless of make and model. I have had three cars repaired and no complaints. Paul and his crew are the best despite his tough guy demeanor

Here s the Truth: Paul has been great to my family. He has put more effort into my broken down van than any other mechanic would have. Yes, it s till running, thanks to Paul and his staff. When you first meet him you might get the impression that he s a great big growling bear, but I promise you, he s a good hearted man that just wants your vehicle fixed and you happy. He even calls a couple of days later to see how your vehicle is doing after the repairs. You won t be disappointed if you take your vehicle to auto tech and allow Paul and his staff to take care of you.

Mr. Paul and his staff at Auto Tech have been dealing with my project(1990 Chevrolet Caprice)since 2012. From total engine swaps to electrical problems, even brakes and suspension upgrades Auto Tech is the place I highly recommend. Mr. Paul gives it to you straight up and down with reasonable and great prices. From time to time you may see my vehicle in his shop because he is the only one I trust with my project when it comes to mechanical problems/upgrades. Thank you Mr. Paul and staff you have been great to me and my vehicle. You stay loyal to who takes care of you and Auto Tech has my loyalty.

I had problems with a car I had 15 years ago when I moved to NC. Looked around for a reliable and responsible auto repair shop because I was not able to work on my autos myself any more. I was then referred to Paul @ Auto Tech. We talked a little and decided to try him. I have not in 15 years been unsatisfied with his work or work ethics. He treats all of the auto he works on like his own and does not like any vehicle leaving his shop if it is not repaired properly. I was visiting from out of town and had a car emergency with my air conditioner. Paul was so gracious about fitting me right in and correctly diagnosing the problem with my car. They fixed it quickly and properly, and had me back on the road even sooner than expected. I so appreciated their kindness, knowledge, and good work ethic. Thank you...! My car had several issues which I brought to the attention of another mechanic .Well they seem to be getting worseso I ask a coworker if she could recommend someone because I had a mechanic for years when I lived in Michigan that I loved , Het husband recommended Auto Tech. Her husband is very particular about his cars and this place came highly recommended.I found out later that another coworker uses them as well. In the past, whenever a problem cropped up on our car, my first thought is usually that it is going to cost me an arm and a leg. My experience working with the owner, Paul Schaeffer, is that his evaluations have always been right on, honest and fair. I've never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I have been using this establishment for the past two years; have always been very satisfied with the work performed and the cost. I intend to continue using Auto Tech of Fayetteville in the future.

We highly recommend Paul and Auto Tech. We have taken a couple of cars for him to work on and he has always done a fantastic job at a great price! He repaired in less than an hour what other places said would take 5 or 6. Take your vehicle to Paul, you'll never go anywhere else again!

Paul and his staff are very professional. They have been doing work to my cars for years (Cadillac, Infiniti, Acura, Chrysler). I have never had an issue with Auto Tech with the repairs done to any of my vehicles. I have also referred a lot of my family, friends and co-workers to Auto-Tech for repairs and they have all been satisfied with the repairs. Affordable pricing for quality repairs and great hospitality that you cannot beat. I highly recommend these guys for repairs!!!!!!!

The owner is great, super helpful and very kind! Ordered tires from Tire Rack and shipped to his shop. They arrived quickly and he was able to get us scheduled in a timely manner to put them on. Will definitely return for future car needs.

Paul is the only person in all of Cumberland county we have work on our Corvette. You won't find a more honest, hardworking, and genuine mechanic in the entire county. Want the job done right and want it done right the first time? Paul is your man!

This place will always have my business! Being new to the area we needed work done on our car and gave this place a shot, and I'm glad we did. Fair, honest, friendly, and reasonably priced. Just had our 2nd vehicle worked on today and this experience was just as good as the 1st. This place is great!If you need a mechanic look no further this is the place you need to go.

I have to give AutoTech 5stars, after my 2003 Infiniti G35 sat w/ major mechanical issues at a automotive shop for at least a year, those guys not knowing what was wrong or how to fix it and wasting my $$, I remembered AutoTech for work they had done on another car I had so I decided to have it towed from that shop to AutoTech and man that was the best decision I could have made I just wish I would have it a little sooner. These guys got my Infiniti up and running sounding good and it did not break the bank to do so. We all look for honest mechanics and at AutoTech you get exactly that. Thanks Paul!!!

Great shop with some great mechanics!!! Ive been using this shop for over 20 years on all of the repairs i cant do myself and have not been steered wrong yet!!! Ive always received a follow up call a couple days later to ensure the car is running right too!!! great guys, fast service and trustworthy!!! highly recommend!!!

The mechanic was friendly and honest he got my car done in the time he said he would the cost was average and he even fixed a loose bracket on exhaust at no extra cost I will definitely return

I just wish there were more people like PAUL he is ABOVE AND BEYOND A GREAT MECHANIC I don't have the words for how amazing this man is . All I have to say is I had a absolute dream car sold to me that was an absolute lemon. Ripped my heart out when 2 mechanic s told me it was good to go and I had a great running car and would have no problem s for awhile . Just minor issues that were not anything to worry about after the first mechanic I drove it to the store literally and on the way home it was drivable but had to have it towed because of the things that were going on with it were so bad not even going to get into that after the second mechanic that told me I had a great running car and wouldn't have any problems with it just minor issues that I could deal with later on down the road after 2 Days later it literally stopped in the middle of the road and wouldn't move and had to have it towed this time it went to Paul when Paul called me and told me everything that was wrong with the car I literally was in tears he said that I had literally bought someone else's headache I didn't know what to do he said that it could be fixed but it would be ALOT!!! TO SAY THE LEAST!!! COME TO FIND OUT IT LITERALLY WAS LEAKING FUEL OUT OF THE BACK SEAT WHERE THE FUEL LINE WAS OR HOWEVER IT SAID NOT COUNTING EVERYTHING THAT THE FIRST TWO MECHANICS HAD DONE HAD TO BE DONE AGAIN BECAUSE IT EITHER A WASN'T DONE OR WASN'T DONE RIGHT NOT COUNTING THEY JUST ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T SEE THAT THE FUEL LINE WAS COMPLETELY BUSTED AND LEAKING GASOLINE IN MY BACKSEAT?!!!?!?!!!!? WITHIN 3 DAYS PAUL HAD ALL THE PARTS AT THE SHOP AND THE CAR FIXED AND CALLED ME AND SAID IT WAS READY HANDS DOWN THIS MAN IS AMAZING IF YOU GO ANYWHERE ELSE IN TOWN PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE YOUR MIND AND GO TO PAUL!!!!! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID BECAUSE THERE'S NO ONE IN THIS TOWN THAT CAN COMPARE TO HIM BOTTOM LINE!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Left my truck with them for months. After $1500 ($500 for brakes) they passed inspection but with the brake and ABS warning lights on. My right caliper seized after 200 miles while driving on I-95. New brakes for $500 that fail. These guys ripped me off. I took off the tire and saw old parts. I need to call the police
