Called here wanting to have my car checked for my check engine light coming on and my cruise control light simultaneously blinking. This was an issue that happened before and was fixed at a dealership in another state several years ago. The man on the phone was dismissive and condescending. He told me that it s probably something trivial like the gas cap being loose , even though I explained that it had been fixed before. He also told me that I ve got a problem because I m polluting and burning up the ozone layer ? Such an odd and unprofessional interaction. Just go somewhere else.

We moved to the Asheville area 2 years ago and have been taking our cars to Jon at a neighbor's recommendation. He's knowledgeable, pleasant and honest. Here's a true story that just happened the other day. My car hit 90,000 last week and the Maintenance Required light lit up. I called the Toyota dealer and several other shops while Jon was on vacation and got estimates ranging around $500 for the manufacturer's recommended service (timing belt, water pump, etc). I decided to wait until Jon got back which saved me $275. "Your model has a timing chain, not a belt. And, there is nothing in the service manual about changing the pump at 90,000." He refused to charge me for unnecessary service! We moved to the other side of town recently and I'm happy to drive 25 minutes for his good, honest service.

Refused to work on my vehicle, would not explain other than to call it junk in his opinion. This after having it towed to him. Unfortunately, just not a great recommendation from a friend. I happily won't be back. Now back to the hunt for a decent, honest mechanic to service my two vehicles...

John Weaver is a gem. Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and as honest as the day is long. He is always polite, and will tell you truthfully what you do or don't need to have done. As a one-man shop he is always busy, but well worth waiting for.

Have been a customer for 10+ years honest and usually about 10-15 days backed up with work but fantastic I trust him with any vehicle whether it has 4 wheels or 2.

Honest, reasonable price, will not lie and do work on your vehicle if it's going to cost more to repair than the vehicle is worth, so refreshing to find someone who is not out to Rob people.

Been my mechanic for years you he's the best in this business works on all models makes motorcycle four-wheelers very honest he'll tell you the truth
